EriKills Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 ugh @rooby.booby at u punishing me for not picking SN!!! It's a good song but DDF lyrics/production/vocals are wayyy more "sad" than ha. Plus DDF is up there quality wise with SN and personally I like DDF better! But at you liking SN tho!

touya kinomoto Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 20 hours ago, rooby.booby said: ----- Lost - KATYCATPH - i'm so lost with the song you picked, she has so many amazing ballads (Thinking Of You, Uncoditionally, The One That Got Away, By The Grace Of God, etc...) not into it at all. 3/10 Unconditionally and By the Grace of God aren't sad songs. One talks about love, thr other about hope. I can agree with Thinking of You and The One that Got Away. But losing someone's self is definitely much sadder than losing someone else. Here is a live performance for you to check it out.
touya kinomoto Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 1. Lorde - Liability: I told you select the best song and you'll get number 1 from me again. 2. Lady Gaga - Princess Die: Told you thr same thing as above but I just love Liability more and I feel it is sadder but job well done. 3. Ariana Grande - One Last Time: Probably my fave Ariana song of all time. I don't know if its connection to the Manchester incident makes it sadder but it definitely is one of the best songs here. 4. Britney Spears - Everytime 5. Culture Club - Do You Really Want To Hurt Me 6. Lea Michele - If You Say So 7. Demi Lovato - Father 8. Celine Dion - Recovering 9. Madonna - The Power of Goodbye 10. Mariah Carey - Outside 11. Nelly Furtado - Try 12. Natalia Kills - Devils Don't Fly 13. Maroon 5 - Just a Feeling: Why sis?!? They have better songs than this. Better That We Break for one is infinitely better and would have been my entry for this round. 14. Rihanna - Unfaithful: Stay, Cold Case Love and Love the Way You Lie Pt. 2 are much better choices. Production is also meh and the most reason why I rank it lower. 15. Jordin Sparks feat. Elijah Blake - Unhappy: I am not familiar with Jordin's discography so I cannot suggest better songs and I won't blame you for it but this one is not that sad + it's not as good as the others.
Lukey Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Sorry but one last time is not a sad song ? I know it was the Manchester tragedy song but that doesn't make the song sad
Loyalty Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 UMMM the song is definitely a sad song, and not just because of the connection to the Manchester attack
Loyalty Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 @lhdang2000 i was expecting “For The Love of a Daughter”

Even though he hasn’t passed away, for most of my time I really hate him for abusing my mom, my brothers, and me. But I’m at a state where I’m trying to understand why he behaved like that, so yeah...

I'm really sorry to hear that It's okay. I'm feeling better about him every day now. Thanks yall 1. Lea Michelle - If You Say So: I'm speechless right now. Thank you for introducing me this song. Beautiful! 2. Lorde - Liability: I wish you would've gone with Writer In The Dark. I'm super obsessed with that song right now. But this is a good choice too. 3. Culture Club - Do You Really Want to Hurt Me: Great pick! I love the 80s vibe of this song. It's different from the other entries. 4. Natalia Kills - Devils Don't Fly: The surprise entry this round for me. I never thought I'd enjoy this as much as I do. 5. Celine Dion - Recovering: I've never heard this song at all. However, really good job, I'm moved by the track. 6. Ariana Grande - One Last Time: As much as I don't think it fits the theme, it's my most favorite track from Ariana. I guess the 'theme' is the reason why it misses the top 5. I wish you would've gone with "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart." 7. Britney Spears - Everytime: One of the most iconic songs by Britney. If anything, it just comes down to personal preference that I like the 'surprising' factor that the other players pull more. Sorry. 8. Jordin Sparks - Unhappy: I'm genuinely surprised at how the other players don't like this song. I really like it as the song is very relatable. And Jordin's vocal is really good. 9. Katy Perry - Lost: Of course, this was when Katy's vocal was still kinda weak. But she was able to make me feel the emotions in the chorus. 10. Nelly Furtado - Try: I'm not familiar with Nelly's discography, so I don't know what to recommend you. However, I just know that sonically, this is not my favorite. It fits the theme tho. 11. Lady Gaga - Princess Die: I don't know. I like the track, it's sad also. But I don't know why I feel like it's kinda forced? I just feel like it's more dramatic than it should be, and I can't feel its authenticity and genuine. 12. Maroon 5 - Just A Feeling: I like the track. I just don't think it fits the theme enough. As predictable as it is, I would have picked "Sad" for this round. 13. Mariah Carey - Outside: I don't know if you will be offended by my comment or not, but I'll say that this song doesn't move me at all. I listen to it, and it finishes. I have no feelings for this song. 14. Madonna - The Power of Good-Bye: Same with Mariah's. It's just that I prefer Outside more than this sonically. 15. Rihanna - Unfaithful: Personally, I would have never chosen this song to represent her at all in this competition. Maybe it's just my preference, but this is one of my least favorite songs of her. It just sounds tired and boring.
Xedretinz Lododnz Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 I hope we're having a little bit of progress gurls
