Lea Michele : this was a cute video, but unfortunately not very creative. I liked the lights used, but there wasn’t much going on the entire time.

Madonna : whew, this video was really different, the amount of references has me gagged. It’s not my favorite video visually, but it’s definitely the most creative out of the bunch.

Ariana Grande : bitch I’m almost sure that you delayed this entire game so that Ariana would release this video. It’s so good, every scene is captivating and beautiful. The colors are great, she served LOOKS, there was a concept and the ending shot was the cherry on top.

Lady Gaga : if this was “best music video”, it would’ve been my #1. The video is iconic and it wasn’t the most viewed video at the time for nothing. That said, I don’t think it’s as creative as some other videos.

Mariah Carey : I kinda screamed at this (in a good way), I actually like this. She looks amazing, but unfortunately, it’s a bit basic if you compare the video to the 3 other girls.

1 @Loyalty - Ariana Grande - Tbh, this is my first time seeing the Music Video and I must say that this is very intriguing but actually creative. I love the art direction, the theme, and the overall concept of the video so props for that. Loving the different scenario as well. This actually made me think that God is a woman. The only thing is I just hope Ari doesn't stick with only one emotion so she should know how to make-face sometimes.

 

2 @Kylie Jenner - Lady Gaga - I must say that this is very iconic and one of the most remembered MV of the century and I'm not actually exaggerating at all. The concept is very unique and artistic although the story line is kinda vague. The costumes, choreography and the scenarios are all on point. It's pretty creative though you could've reserved it as a potential video for the finale. 

 

3 @Fruity - Madonna - So this is my first time seeing this video. The thumbnail alone actually captivates my attention  and that didn't failed me after watching the whole video. The cinematography plus the Egyptian theme is so dope. This is pretty dark which blends well with the song and I really dig it. The only concern I have is that why this video wasn't become very popular? 

 

4 @Overprotected - Mariah Carey - The introduction of the video is cute. It's a bit comedic at some point which I really liked then it turned to action and the song starts playing where Mariah suddenly is making some bad ass stunts so I was like "damn it's pretty unusual" but it's dope. Loving the story and concept of the MV. The "sea" scenery is what I dig the most. I just hope there is more punch on it tho. 

 

5 @Lukey - Lea Michele - Although with the lack of choices, the video still is very creative. The story, the emotion and the scenario is very well crafted. I'm very much fan of the background lights in different scenarios which gives more life to the video. It feels like the video is giving me much hope to live no kidding at all. The only thing is that the video could've gone with more story to make it more creative.

I would say because the song is experimental and half way towards being a Bjork song (she actually co-wrote it), it doesn’t have any mainstream appeal really so wasn’t a hit and wouldnt be known unless you were following pop culture when it was released.

 

But it’s quite well known as one of her best music videos among her fans
