One Dance's slayage. :clap3: And the other songs he refused to give proper treatment but smashed anyway.

Even with streaming being added, those songs' numbers don't look impressive. The only exception is Closer since it's the newest song on the list and still got to be at #2.

2011 vs 2016

1.Rolling in the Deep-5,813,000

2.Party Rock Anthem-5,468,000

3.ET-4,829,000

4.Moves Like Jagger-4,111,000

5.Give Me Everything-3,875,000

6.Pumped Up Kicks-3,843,000

7.Someone Like You-3,750,000

8.Forget You-3,724,000

9.Super Bass-3,608,000

10.Born This Way-3,476,000

2016

1.One Dance-5,555,380

2.Closer-4,497,430

3.Work-4,080,092

4.Don't Let Me Down-3,849,930

5.Panda-3,601,797

6.Can't Stop the Feeling-3,596,807

7.7 Years-3,544,342

8.My House-3,458,391

9.Stressed Out-3,386,331

10.Cheap Thrills-3,348,752

I think 2016 did fine, even it though it seems like there were only two true megahits this year.

There are plenty of songs and albums that were released at the end of the year and made it to the top before

closer isn't a monopoly

Such a talent. She can let others keep what might be their only hits in their short careers.
