Considering he's the so called the prince of pop and now having SB boost, i'm expecting 1M. Anything less will be a underperformance

he's not doing +500k you all need to stop :lmao:

performing at the Super Bowl doesn't make people automatically buy your album :rip:

Gaga performed at the SB 3 (?) months after Joanne release and while discounted it sold:

8,000 - 74,000 - 41,000 (SPS)

4,164 - 48,042 - 24,435 (pure sales)

The halftime performance helps sell you tour tickets more than album sales.

How can you think he'll do 1M?

Ya'll are probably just saying this so you can drag him later

This.

Anyways, he would do good even without SB imo. Halftime Show will for sure inflate his numbers, but there's no way in hell he's doing 1M.

If he does Say Something tomorrow, he’ll def be inching towards 1m. White people will eat that **** up. The rush to purchase the alberm.

If he doesn’t, I’ll say 600-650k.

The album is bad, the only reason it'll do decent numbers is because of the Super Bowl.

um Gaga performed at the Super Bowl after 3.5 months and Joanne was close to 400k pure by that time (395,428 to be exact). However this is a brand new album and JT is known for being an album seller/having huge debut weeks.

500k should be doable tbh. yeah I'm aware that album sales are so dead now but still

I agree about the last sentence though.

Good for him but the fact that he has yet to open with more than 250K proves he still doesn't have a loyal fanbase which is what you need if you're going to last 22 years in the industry like JT has.

And the 24K Magic era was very local and a huge decline from his last era so I fail to see how it's done much for his career, undeserved Grammys aren't everything.

His tour is huge WW and is already at $200m gross from like 115 shows so yea 24k magic era did help his career and the way you keep mentioning how is 24k magic local, you make it sound like it flopped WW when its singles have hit the top 10 in different countries around the world, and right now streaming is what matters the most and both of Bruno's first two singles from 24k magic have been streamed +1,1B on Spotify alone. Not to forget that the album is still charting at the official album charts in different countries around the world after more than one year from release.

Based on early reads after one full day of sales, with extremely limited info available today, Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods (RCA) looks headed to the 300-350k range. Will his Super Bowl halftime performance tomorrow send the total to 400k or above? We’ll update on Monday with the initial reaction and then again on Tuesday when we’ve been able to see how physical sales (including his Target-exclusive deluxe CD and vinyl) react. Stay tuned.

This mf should have done more bundles and limited editions. Just a Target edition is not enough. :grump:

300k with no hits and no performances is great, no matter how you spin it.
