200k will be good, but a little underwhelimg

300k is expected

400k will be phenomal

500k will be huge huge huge

200k is a complete disaster

300k is pretty bad

400k is decent, but a little underwhelming

500k is good

600k is great

700k+ is huge

These are the realistic (SPS) standards for the album of an A-lister coming back from the biggest hit of his career with a launch that included 3 singles, all sent to multiple radio formats, promoted heavily on Spotify and receiving official videos. And, most importantly, the Superbowl.

I could see 500-600k with a good show on Sunday. I bet his catalog ends up doing well regardless though

I’m gonna call BS. Quote me later.

SB will soften the blow but I don’t see big numbers in the cards.

Same. Won’t cross 700k physical.

A 300k debut is “very big” these days so let’s wait for the actual numbers.

I don't see 20/20 numbers. Maybe between 20/20 pt 1 and pt 2.

No girl. You are doing too much the reality:

200k would be a collasal flop

300k would be very underwhelming with SB

400k will be respectable with SB

500k would be good

600k would be great

700k would be amazing

800k+ would be outstanding/phenomenal

He'll easily do 600k+ :dies:

Im curious to see how his album will perform because I'm not sure if Justin is more of a stan-base or GP driven pop star. I used to think he had a big fan base, but his latest figures are saying otherwise. If he actually pulls through with the album, we can say that he's fan-base driven (like Taylor), but if he flops, then he's GP driven like Katy Perry.

Either way, his era will end up being a success because the superbowl will ensure a big tour and decent album sales. His next album will be the real test.

I'll predict 300k since album sales are the pits and he has no smash hits this era.

'Say Something' has potential but i heard he will be performing 'Filthy'.

I’m expecting 550k since he’s doing the Super Bowl, has four singles out and has tons of promo lined up this week. It’ll be interesting to see how much longevity the songs have, though.

Low first week sales:

OMG HA FINALLY HIS CAREER IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUSTIN FADBERLAKE IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYE UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

High first week sales:

THE ONLY REASON WHY HE HAD THAT WAS BECAUSE OF THE SUPORBOWL WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAIT UNTIL HE DROPS THE SECOND WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS ALL FRONT LOADED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is hardly contradictory. Both scenarios valid.

250k at most. Sales are bad and he’s no Taylor Swift. I expect 150 to 200k. :foot:

Exciting :duca:

Bruno's 24k Magic did 231k SPS first week (missing #1) on a MUCH better climate (and a Q4 on top of that) with it being his first album after doing Super Bowl twice, his first after his biggest hit ever Uptown Funk, at the back of heavy promotion and a hit (the title track).

Let's not get delusional calling 400k "decent" and just "700k+" huge.

His fanbase is loyal and actually buys albums. We all know he is a big first week opener. I expect 800k-1M first week.
