Chris Stapleton (MercuryNashville) 17-20k, 12-14k

Which album is this? I am thinking Volume 2 but it is Volume 1 that has a large lead than Volume 2 in the building chart...

Also probably he gets top 3 country albums in Billboard 200 (Pure sales is sure thing):clap3:, just hope their SPS all can pass Thomas Rhett's/Kane Brown's album.

FOB the plummet though :rip:

Still top 30 without promo, any hits, Radio support or Spotify exposure, and they already got their 4th #1 album (3rd consecutive one) 17 years into their careers, not everyone has that :fan:

I'm implying that even when having no promo, Radio Airplay and Spotify exposure, they still outsold in pure sales everyone so far this year. They even revived vinyl sales last week :deadbanana2: Not everyone can span such a long career and still pull those pure sales numbers in Q1 2018 :fan: They already are a consolidated act, others just have to keep fighting and praying to keep scoring #1 albums so far along their careers, if such career even span that long to begin with :fan:

I have no problem with FOB. I like there music and I think they're super talented. Not sure why you're fuming at my comment :deadbanana: their drop was  enormous and I, like everyone in this thread, was just kii'ing at it.

Very similiar to you laughing at Camila being one spot lower than the Top 5 before you got swiftly clocked. :rip:

I'm not laughing at that. My comment was in response to someone saying "Why don't you say anything about Camila now?" and I just said something :toofunny2: The fact that some took it to heart :rip: I stan for the Queen of BB200, so trust me, I couldn't care less about peasants. FOB's drop isn't even that big when they are staying in the top 30 and when there's been biggest falls that they're not even coming close to replicate, like Brand New's or Bon Jovi's, so :michael:

Hip Hop fans doesn't buy album (mostly) and I am not surprise.

I think this is how pure sales will be in the near future, most pure sales will be from pre-order or first week sales. Then album longevity will be determined by streams/hits.

FOB sales are insane, the fact they sold 100k+ while popstars are struggling to sell 50k it's shocking. Their singles failed to chart on Billboard hot 100 this era  :jonny: And they had best sales for a vinyl since a long time.

I'd be more worried about the 'major' pop girls with 1 week in the t10. Camila holding well.

This isn’t entirely true. There’s ton of rappers who can debut with 200k in pure alone in this era.

Make up your mind guys. Is SPS the "thing" or not? One minute ya'll praising high streaming numbers and bashing pure sales. Or does it only apply with your favs   :gaycat2:

Now imagine if Taylor didn't have her album on streaming like 1989...really puts things in to perspective just how huge that era (and she) was
