Duca Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) YOUR TOP 25: MIGOS IN CONTROL Today, we’re providing a Top 25 midweek to more thoroughly illustrate the increases from Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Please note that since physical sales info is only one day removed from the broadcast, our margin of error may be greater than usual. Also, we dropped the abacus in the crapper again, dang it. We note that on the Apple Music streaming chart, Migos tracks currently occupy spots #2-8, while at Spotify they're #2, #4 and #6 on the U.S. top 10. *Migos (Quality Control/Motown/Capitol) 180-195k SPS, 30-34k Sales The Greatest Showman (Atlantic) 87-92k, 56-61k Bruno Mars (Atlantic) 49-53k, 14-16k Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) 46-50k, 13-15k Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) 40-44k, 10-12k Camila Cabello (Syco/Epic) 35-38k, 5-6k Post Malone (Republic) 32-35k, 2-3k Khalid (Right Hand Music/RCA) 28-31k, 4-5k G-Eazy (RCA) 27-30k, 2-3k Imagine Dragons (Kidinakorner/Interscope) 25-28k, 9-11k Lil Uzi Vert (Generation Now/Atlantic) 25-28k, 1-2k SZA (TDE/RCA) 25-28k, 6-7k Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 23-26k, 6-7k Lil Skies (Atlantic) 21-24k, <1k Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 20-23k, 6-7k Sam Smith (Capitol) 19-22k, 7-8k Huncho Jack, Travis Scott, Quavo (QC/Cactus Jack/Motown/Grand Hustle/Epic/Capitol) 17-20k, <1k Chris Stapleton (Mercury Nashville) 17-20k, 12-14k Kodak Black (Atlantic) 17-20k, <1k Chris Brown (RCA) 16-18k, <1k 2018 Grammy Nominees (RCA) 16-18k, 16-18k P!nk (RCA) 15-17k, 9-11k Chris Stapleton – Traveller (Mercury Nashville) 15-17k, 7-8k Drake (YMCMB/Republic) 15-17k, <1k Fall Out Boy (DCD2/Island) 15-17k, 8-9k *DEBUTS NEW RELEASES: MIGOS STREAM ON IN Based on very early reads, our first-week projection for the new set by Quality Control/Motown/Capitol's Migos is in the neighborhood of 180-200k, with 30-40k of that from album sales. These numbers are likely to adjust in the coming days, so don't touch that dial. Currently, tracks from the band's Culture II set dominate the Apple Music tracks chart, taking up all the spots #2-11 (only Drake's new monster ranks above them), with cuts featuring Drake and 21 Savage leading; their ranking on the Spotify Top 50 is strikingly similar. The 24-track collection is #1 at iTunes, but only one cut, the Drake-featured "Walk It Talk It," is currently selling in the Top 10 on the singles side. Culture also boasts appearances by Post Malone, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Gucci Mane, Huncho on the Beat and Ty Dolla $ign. Motown boss Ethiopia Habtemariam is celebrating by challenging Steve Barnett to a rhyme battle. Migos have been primary beneficiaries of the streaming platform as both as primary act and guest (member Quavo in particular is a feature VIP, having added bars to countless tracks that flew up the streaming charts). Erreur2 La Nature Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) Didn't they claim they were the biggest group in the world this week ? Their SPS are good but the actual real sales are tragic Edited January 27, 2018 by Erreur2 La Nature
americanlife Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 That seems really low for someone like them tbh.

The Next Day Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Compared to other rap albums the pure sales seem very good? The rap-demographic is a streaming one.
