Buddy! Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Carbon telling me he's gonna be in the BTM2 this week that fag
Buddy! Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Quote I liked the musical itself, but as with many other queens this challenge, you gave me the whole story fleshed out when only a snipped would have sufficed so: I didn't know how to go about it, so I just wrote everything LMAO!
Kelp Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Colleen is the Aja of this season and this round is production trying to get rid of her because she can’t say Frances Joli
fountain Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) @ Sub as you'll know I've been having problems with my wifi which I do feel left me a bit restricted this week, every little thing would become a huge task, even just simply saving images. I would've liked to have made the video longer and better, but I just didn't have the time nor the internet power. I don't think it's as good as my others either, but I still am happy with my entry and I'm glad you thoroughly enjoyed the rest. Edited March 2, 2018 by keshaspearsxo
Citrus Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 __________________________________________________________________________ Episode 4 - Musical Queerter Results This week, we asked you girls to take center stage and put on a show. Some of you had us on the edge of the seat and, for one of you, it's curtains. Colleen (@Kylie Jenner) Spoiler Yuor dyslexic diiva waaes...unclear. I am sorry, my dear, but you are up for elimination. Stone (@Buddy!) Spoiler Your Pebble was stone's throw from the bottom, but you ain't out of that well yet. You are safe. Gladys Lux Maure (@Rhisiart) Spoiler Your Richie gave us Hope, and your Elphaba soared. You are safe. Chanel DiAngelo (@CHANEL™) Spoiler Your suicide shuffle had the judges clamoring for your therapy to work. Condragulations, you are the winner of this week's challenge. Pea Enculo (@keshaspearsxo) Spoiler You were definitely here this week! You are safe. Carbon (@Vulnicura) Spoiler Your campy queen from the future brought us LIFE in the present. You are safe. Pixel Dark, would you please step forward. This week, you seemed to give up. This game is not one that can be won without unshakable confidence and full commitment. You are a talented, unique, and legendary queen whose presence has been nothing short of the utmost pleasure. You changed the game for comedy queens, and nobody dares go barefoot on the runway since you made it iconic. I love you girl and, because of that, I'm throwing you a life line. Colleen, _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ My Slashing Six, times have really changed, haven't they? Back in the day, being pretty meant something, but nowadays girls will wear anything and call it fashion. Can I get an amen? Now, let the music play!
Hug Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Mess, not even a lip sync. Low-key thank god because I wasn't gonna send. Good luck to everybody else!
Rhisiart Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 @Hug It was so amazing getting to know you and I'm so glad you were here. And congratulations @CHANEL™, so very well deserved.
Hug Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 1 minute ago, CHANEL™ said: Another fashion challenge? Thank GOD I'm eliminated. Even if I got to lip sync and survive, I would've just been BTTM2 again EDIT: I wanted to respond to you, too @Rhisiart, I know you tried to help me and I ignored your PM that was so rude of me. :( Thank you for trying to help me, though. You're a good person. -- Let me just make a parting post while I'm here I had it set in my mind that I wasn't going to try as soon as I saw the challenge because it just sounded tedious to me. I wasn't too busy. I didn't suddenly have a real life issue come up. I just didn't feel like doing it. That's not to fault Citrus or anyone else on the panel, because it seemed everybody else had a lot of fun with the challenge. I only signed up for All Stars to have fun and I just didn't think I'd have fun with this challenge, thus me very evidently giving up. For anyone who was disappointed in me throwing in the towel or whatever, all I can say is sorry. I knew from the start I wasn't winning, so I could only go until I no longer enjoyed it, and the last round was that for me. I appreciate the experience I did have, though, and I'm just happy I was...forced...to leave until I wasn't happy anymore. For that, thank you @Citrus, it seems you picked up on that. Bye everybody! I wouldn't be upset if any remaining queen won, you'd all be deserving. ♥
Buddy! Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 At this point i'm just playing to see how far I can go
Hug Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I edited my last post with the sappy stuff etc go read if you care
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted March 2, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted March 2, 2018 MESS, I did reviews but forgot to PM them. @Citrus plz add them to the reviews post for archiving purposes. Colleen: Poor Kenzie I like that your story was darker and the legal aspects (while feeling a little TV courtroom drama and unrealistic) were interesting. While the plot is very serious, the excerpt from the script brings in some humor and light-hearted moments, which I really appreciated seeing; it definitely made me want to see the musical more. This isn’t Platinum Hit, so I won’t be too hard on you for those forced rhymes in your song. The songs were VERY narrative, which isn’t always my cup of tea in a musical, and there were very unnatural moments (skeleton? a corpse is not a skeleton!) but they served their purpose and I appreciate you for doing three songs. I know it’s probably an annoying complaint, but I wish the Playbill had the classic yellow border. Also, the text was hard to read. Cute image though. I love the color palette in your look. The bottom (with the black part) doesn’t look that good to me; the edges are too sharp or something and I’m kind of confused by it. But the rest is elegant and I’m into it. Pixel: Your plot doesn’t give us much detail, but I kind of like the Satan dying idea. Sandman teas. The dialogue was cute enough and I liked some of the lines of the song. Clearly, some animals were shoehorned in there, but the meter was tight and there were clever moments. Not sure I get the runway look; the head piece and shoulder piece are so similar and might get in each other’s way? Where’s the rest of the outfit? Carbon: “ends with a saxophone finish” — I’m sold. But really, I liked your plot; it was campy and fun but had a bit of complexity to it. Time travels plots are fundamentally tricky to work with so I won’t start asking about plot holes I do wonder what will happen plotwise later on; you only give us a preview of the scene we see and a brief mention that they’ll continue to travel. Where’s the conflict? You tease it with the wig stuff, but I do wish you gave us more of that plot since your plot description is short and incomplete. And I wanna read the Adriana scene The song is fine. Cheesy at times, but I guess that’s expected. I wish the Playbill had the classic yellow border but love it otherwise. Such talent. I like the runway look a lot, especially for a JRPG final boss. I’m not sure it quite nails the runway theme and I don’t love the teeth part around the crotch, but otherwise I’m into it. Chanel I don’t understand the proportions of your playbill (where will the classic yellow top part fit?). I like that you gave us a longer plot summary in the playbill, and your plot is probably the best of the week (even if Act 3 is MESSY from a narrative point of view and you need to edit it if you try to get this musical on Broadway). I like the general outline but am especially impressed by the way you make the musical feel fully realized with a full set of songs and a full cast of interesting characters, including the BFF villains, who are some of the strongest characters in the show. I don’t get all the jokes in the cast bios, but some were cute. Why is there a Pokemon in your ensemble cast? I screamed at Dame Rose’s heckling. The song was solid; there weren’t forced rhymes or major problems with meter or anything. I liked the angst/glitter line. I do feel like it’s kind of one-note and think that the opening song of a musical should have some kind of development or pivot (a volta, of sorts). Your runway was the weakest element of your entry; the first look is too simple and the belt dress both feels weird coming after Carbon’s belt skirt and is also not appealing to me. I like that you linked it to your plot, but I still don’t want to look at it. Stone: This felt a little unpolished at times, but that was part of its charm. The humor at once felt appropriate for the venue, but also got a little one-note for me. For example, the gag re: the reviews got tired for me on the first review because the jokes are so on-the-nose. The plot moves along well enough, even if the humor begins to feel familiar by act 2. The song was also unpolished in parts (inconsistent rhyme scheme, confusing lines), which I’m less forgiving of. The MJ doctor reference is funny though. Thanks for using the yellow Playbill header! Too bad the rest is a mess. The runway look feels busy. Is the photo with the red dress just showing the slit? Or is it a color sample? With collages, it’s best to explain. But either way, I’m getting very different vibes from the face and the rose hat. I feel like maybe Aciid could pull it off, but idk. Gladys The playbill is very traditional Playbill, which I like, even if the fingers are bit thicc. I loved the “what else is on Broadway” page; the Manyl and Carrie musicals sound wonderful. Your plot felt fairly familiar and the characters seem one-dimensional at times, but I still liked the plot overall, including Richie doing the Spotlight reprise (I LOVE reprises) and the major plot twist, which I really didn’t see coming. I like how you use the depression angle but focus it on the stage with Richie’s transformation into Hope being realized by the end. The song wasn’t anything groundbreaking—the rhymes were pretty simply and sentiment pretty familiar—but I liked its construction and how the dialogue takes place in the middle of it. Your runway look is very cute; love the cinched waist and the weird design at the bottom of the coat. Since the outfit colors are so simple, I’m on board with the green skin and flower earrings. The heel of the shoes confuse me. Pea Coming at the end of the entry post, this entry feels somewhat less considered than some of the others given its brevity. However, it’s elevated by the trademark Pea humor, evident in the song titles, scene descriptions, and the random inconsistencies in the song (bye rhyme scheme, after the first verse!). I still wish we got fuller plot description and slightly longer dialogue, but what’s here is fortunately on brand and consistently funny. The playbill is nice; I like the yellow banner and the cleanness of the design (though I wish you had wider outside margins). The runway look is fine, thought the necklace needs to go; it goes too low and would interfere with the dress’s neckline. TOP HOOT OF THE WEEK: Pea's video: “Hurry up ***.” “Chanel I have fallen in love with you.” And then the abbreviated gasp from the audience. I screamed.

For me at least. Letting it simmer because I'm not sure of it yet, hopefully other judges have better ideas than I do x
Wondy Lust Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 When's the comeback round? I suddenly wanna join
Aciid Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 @Hug I really thought you'd be in the top 3 Sad to see you leave but I completely get your sentiment. Pixel will always be iconic and a successful drag queen.
Vulnicura Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I am so consistently off the mark when it comes to my views versus what the judges think. I didn't see Colleen being bottom 2.
