So I want to buy new headphones and right now I'm between two options: Sony's WH-1000XM4 and the Sennheiser Momentum 4, I've read good things about both but I would like to know which ones do you guys think i should get, I'm looking for headphones that I can use anywhere, like the bus or at the gym, good/great noise cancelling and good/great audio, also I would love if they have good bass. So which ones should I get? If there's another option that you think I will like please let me know thank you in advance.

tech new internal leaks: Apple thinks they're 2 years+ behind their competitors about AI
Kayseri Mantisi posted a topic in The Lounge
******* losers explained in pop terms for technologically illiterate iSheep twinks, because i know we have many of them here: Apple is tanking both critically and commercially, running to collaborate with another it pop girl ChatGPT (no different than installing the ChatGPT app from App Store). https://9to5mac.com/2024/10/20/gurman-apple-intelligence-ai-two-years/- 81 replies

tech Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 vs. Sony WF-1000XM5
Kayseri Mantisi posted a topic in The Lounge
hiiii besties thought it might be a good idea to ask about this in a music forum so i've been using my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro's since 2021 & now looking to upgrade my earbuds. they still work flawlessly but i'm looking for an even more high end device now. the audio quality, sound stage & design are my first priority. even though the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro's are really good, they are cheaper than what i'm searching for & there are even better devices suited for audiophiles and such so they're not an option for me. so as a result I decided to get either Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 or the Sony WF-1000XM5's.... is there anyone here who tried both of these earbuds and can compare them, or someone who's currently using one of them and have something to share? thank you so much!! ps. please don't mention anything about Apple AirPods Pro 2's in this thread - compared to others they're mid at best when it comes to sound quality and i'm definitely not getting them. -

tech Apple's AI is stuck with USA while Samsung & Google provides AI to whole world. Why?
Kayseri Mantisi posted a topic in The Lounge
even though Apple's AI is severely behind their competitors with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini stomping on Apple Intelligence on every area possible, Apple still can't even release their AI to the world. why Apple is ALWAYS so behind on these world changing technological upgrades? Why is iPhone 16 still using a 60hz display? Why Apple users outside of USA can't use Apple's half-baked AI features in 2024 - while users of other brands can use it wherever they want, especially when they're more developed and advanced versions of Apple's AI? discuss. -
So I was looking at self-cleaning litter boxes online because the concept sounds interesting and never having to scoop cat litter again seems nice. However, they are ******* expensive (especially the ones that get the most recommendations), customer service seems hit or miss (depending on the brand), and some of them seem to have some design flaws. My cat's also a dumbass so idk if he would use it correctly either So does anyone here have one? Do you like it/hate it? Do you think they're a massive waste of money? Sound off ATRL

tech Bluesky adds 2 million users in a week (8m total); videos to debut in the next update
Komet posted a topic in The Lounge
Bluesky sees record high signups and activity after Twitter got itself banned in Brazil I'm seeing some posts reach almost 100k likes which I never seen there before. Also almost everything is in Portuguese now lmao Are you ready to jump ship? Twitter is getting worse by the day, won't be surprised if it gets banned in more countries soon. The only big things missing on BS are videos and some kind of trending page, both of which are coming. -

Today, it occurred to me that I was the only person among my coworkers that does not use TikTok - it made me curious about what platforms people around my age currently use. What platforms do you use regularly? If you do not use social media regularly or deliberately stay away from specific platforms, please share why.

tech personal account vs. creator account on Instagram [poll]
Kayseri Mantisi posted a topic in The Lounge
i have a pretty big instagram account & testing some important things and of course my ocd is causing me to overthink and there's no reliable up-to-date information available online and on reddit so i wanted to ask ATRL, if you have experiences about social media and tried both of these account types, have you noticed any differences between them? thank you -
tech New to Apple Music, coming from Spotify. I have a question!
Comedor posted a topic in The Lounge
I have started using Apple Music today and have a question. Is there a way to synch the music player between desktop browser and phone app? For example, I'm playing music on my desktop browser and when I open up the phone app it doesn't recognize the music playing on desktop. In that same scenario, on Spotify, the phone app would let me control the browser player - and even let me switch from browser to app. Is that not possible with AM? -

tech New version of ChatGPT released: real-time translation, human-like interaction + more
TROPICUM posted a topic in The Lounge
ChatGPT 4o got released today and it's kinda a collapse… Able to interact with user directly, with extreme fluidity and human-like word speeches and tones. Able to see the world itself and understand what its seeing. Realtime translation Able to teach any subject in real time, mostly focused in algebra and physics can SING (a little rough but several pop girls still got ended) Not going to lie, before this ChatGPT worked only for essays, work or homework you didn't want to do but this version totally changes the game and it's probably THEE collapse of the decade (tech-wise)… like this is the invention of the iPhone type of ****
