  1. After presumably being pushed back due to the Hollywood strikes, True Detective returns in 2024 featuring 2 female leads for the first time in its four-season-run. This will also be the first season without creator Nic Pizzolatto's involvement. From Inverse: "Jodie Foster leads True Detective: Night Country as Liz Danvers, the chief of police of Ennis, Alaska, a small town embroiled in an ongoing battle between its Indigenous residents and the powerful mining company whose widespread pollution is an open secret. On the edge of this town sits an arctic research station where eight researchers suddenly all go missing one night. When the researchers are discovered frozen naked in the ice a few days later, the bizarre case’s connection to a missing Indigenous girl forces Danvers and her former partner Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) to reluctantly reunite to solve a years-old mystery." For those new to True Detective, each season is self-contained, so there is no required viewing to understand any of the seasons. Each season is usually headed by 2 or 3 high profile stars in the eponymous detective roles. Tbh only S1 is worth your time; it is one of the best seasons of TV. It basically saw diminishing returns in succeeding seasons like AHS but maybe S4 will reverse this. Season 1 Starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson Season 2 Starring Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Taylor Kitsch Season 3 Starring Mahershala Ali
  2. Don’t know why my TV series thread got nuked but here we go! WAKE UP HALF-BLOODS
  3. Love the movie. So far it's an 8 episode limited series but "there is a possibility to go beyond the first installment if it's a hit,” according to the report from Deadline: https://deadline.com/2023/02/ripley-showtime-andrew-scott-netflix-limited-series-1235255479/#comments

  8. Premieres 2024 on BBC America, AMC, and AMC+ Synopsis: This is anything but a carbon copy. Three genetically identical women must band together to unravel the mystery behind their origins. However, uniting human clones will prove to be as unpredictable as human nature. Hope this can live up to the standard the original set.
  9. One reality TV villain is bad enough… but how about 10 of them under the same roof? House of Villains, a new E! reality series, brings together some of reality TV's most notorious personalities ever to live in a house together and compete for a $200,000 grand prize. Among the competitors: The Apprentice (and Trump Administration) alum Omarosa; VH1 staple Tiffany "New York" Pollard, of Flavor of Love fame; and Vanderpump Rules cad Jax Taylor. The cast also includes Jonny Fairplay (Survivor), Corinne Olympios (The Bachelor), Johnny Bananas (The Challenge), Shake Chatterjee (Love Is Blind), Bobby Lytes (Love & Hip-Hop: Miami), Tanisha Thomas (Bad Girls Club) and Anfisa Arkhipchenko (90 Day Fiancé). Joel McHale serves as host, and "each week, the contestants compete in a battle-royale challenge that tests their physical, mental and emotional strength,” per the official description. "It's the battle of the century as alliances are made, trusts are broken and the villains scheme their way to the top.” !!!! This will be HUGE!
  10. Hopefully this is a "valid" source
  11. World of Reel is reporting that Euphoria is cancelled: I'm hearing that the planned third season of Sam Levinson's "Euphoria" has been totally scrapped. It's not happening. They had plans to shoot it this summer, but that fell through and on Friday they told the cast that they could free up their schedules for other projects. I was already amazed that Levinson had managed to get all of the talent involved back, given their busy schedules. Many of the show's actors have now turned into movie stars — Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Colman Domingo, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney and Austin Abrams, to name a few. The plan to reunite all of them for a third, and final, season has clearly failed. Rumor: 'Euphoria' Season 3 Cancelled — World of Reel
