Netflix & Legendary has announced the release date of the animated series Skull Island, the new installment in the MonsterVerse (Godzilla & King Kong). The series will be released on June 22nd. "A group of well-meaning explorers, venture out to sea to rescue Annie from the ocean. In so doing, they find themselves shipwrecked on the perilous Skull Island. Together, they fight to survive the dangers of the mysterious isle, which is home to large creatures and terrifying monsters; including Kong."

Centered on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power, the show explores how the young Queen’s marriage to King George “sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton,” per the official synopsis. Sex Education’s India Amarteifio will play the titular character, and newcomer Arsema Thomas is set to portray a young Lady Danbury, who “uses Charlotte’s arrival to find her own way into society.” Meanwhile, Golda Rosheuvel will reprise her Bridgerton role as the older Queen Charlotte, along with Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley. Does anyone here watch this novela? It's currently the #1 novela in Mexico and the U.S. at the moment because the ratings are very high, especially given that the finale is in 2 weeks. It's all over TikTok, has memes and has gone viral to the point where the phrase "La Queso" said by Kika (Abril Michel) is everywhere right now. I feel it is popular because the plot feels like a series that is based on Mar Salgado, the virality, the plot, and Angelique Boyer who is just amazing in this role.
