    Gentleman Jack | HBO

Gentleman Jack is a historical drama television series created by Sally Wainwright. Set in the year 1832 in Yorkshire, it stars Suranne Jones as landowner and industrialist Anne Lister. The series is based on the collected diaries of Lister, which contain over four million words and are written largely in secret code, documenting a lifetime of lesbian relationships. Is anyone else watching this show? I recently started it and I loved it. Waiting for HBO Max to add more episodes
  2. A new episode will be released every day this week.
  3. The network early Monday formally renewed 9-1-1: Lone Star, Call Me Kat, Welcome to Flatch, Crime Scene Kitchen and The Masked Singer for the 2022-23 TV season. That leaves three series — the 9-1-1 mothership, The Resident and Duncanville — in Fox’s question-mark column. 911 and The Resident are still waiting https://tvline.com/2022/05/16/fox-renewed-shows-2022-call-me-kat-911-lone-star-list/

  5. Inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter's unprecedented "texting-suicide" case. Explores Carter's relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his death and, later, her conviction of involuntary manslaughter. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt12851512/ Has a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes
  6. Shame, I thought it was a great and underrated show probably hurt by the 3 year break between seasons. I wouldn't be surprised to see Russian Doll get the same fate.
  7. Saved by the bell has been axed by Peacock after just 2 seasons. Couldn't be happier the show was so so stupid

    2gether The Series

2gether The Series is a thai TV show produced by GMMTV and it's airing right now. It's nearing the end of the first season (let's pray for a second one), but still I was encouraged by @MonsterNavy and @Stellars to open this one so in case anyone else here watches or has any interest in watching it we could have discussions about it It's a BL (boys love) show that tells the story of Tine and Sarawat, two college students who start out by fake-dating and then... well, watch it and you'll see it! (how do i center this?)
  10. Old thread is now archived. Can't wait for this to come back Wait at the fact it's out on a Wednesday though January on Netflix is SO lit!

  12. Inventing Anna is the first series Shonda Rhimes created for the streaming network (her involvement on Bridgerton is as an executive producer), and it chronicles a journalist (played by Anna Chlumsky, Veep) and her investigation of Delvey (Julia Garner, Ozark). The series is inspired by the New York Magazine article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People — and Its Banks.”

  15. Even though this has very mixed reviews (61% on RT), I thought this was very juicy, intriguing, and enjoyable. This definitely reminded me of The Undoing & Big Little Lies (fitting as David E. Kelley was behind this too). Sienna Miller & Michelle Dockery gave great performances in this, as did Rupert Friend (who is like an Orlando Bloom/Colin Firth hybrid) as the privileged, cheating, & philandering politician. He was equal parts smug & charismatic. Loved the ending, very justifiable for the audience #1 on Netflix in the UK & #2 in the US.

  17. I'm gonna say the dropout was miles better than wesucked but it's a cute show. I was always desperate for the next dropout episode but we crashed is meh. Not even excited to the season finale. Less interesting all together. Also Hope Elizabeth Holmes rots in prison for 20 years. Anyways should be fair to compare them both about conning millions with Mega star leads. But Wecrashed felt.. Reductive.. ?
  18. Michael Bay has been promoting his latest film 'Ambulance', starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and gave an extended interview to podcast Session Golfa, where he reviewed his filmography, from its beginnings to the latest release, going through his greatest successes ('Armaggedon', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Transformers') and some of the moments that have marked his career, including his complicated relationship with Megan Fox. The filmmaker gave an exclusive during the chat while speaking about Fox. Bay clarified that they have a good relationship and, in fact, they will soon work together again: "Megan and I are friends," he says, "The things you read on the Internet are false, it's a lie. We are working on a TV series together, we're writing it now. She's fantastic and we're hopeful the show will go ahead. It's called 'Blank.'" For now there aren't more details about the project or what role both will play in it, but the reunion has been cooking for over 10 years after their last work together as director and actress, 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', which will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention and curiosity. Bay was also a producer on both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films, starring Fox, in 2014 and 2016. https://www.ecartelera.com/noticias/michael-bay-megan-fox-serie-ambulance-68591/
