  1. Internationally: Stats: "Stay" by The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Justin Bieber, from Canada, posts an 11th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song drew 91.4 million streams (down 9%) and sold 19,300 downloads (up 23%, helped by its placement in the iTunes Store's "69¢ Pop Hits" promotion) worldwide in the Oct. 8-14 tracking week. The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" adds a ninth week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 72.1 million streams (down 9%) and 7,100 sold (down 17%) in territories outside the U.S. in the Oct. 8-14 tracking week. Elsewhere in the Global 200 top 10, "Money" by BLACKPINK's Lisa soars 19-10. Following the Oct. 10 premiere of its "dance practice" video, building upon the momentum of its "exclusive performance" clip released Sept. 23, the song sports gains of 28% to 66.3 million and 6% to 4,400 sold in the latest tracking week. Lisa earns her second Global 200 top 10, after "Lalisa" debuted at its No. 2 peak on the Sept. 25 chart. South Korea's BLACKPINK, with Lisa, born in Thailand, as a member, also boasts two top 10s on the survey, as "Ice Cream," with Selena Gomez, hit No. 8 in September 2020 and "Lovesick Girls" reached No. 2 the following month. Plus, Lisa's "Money" ascends 11-7 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 61.5 million streams (up 28%) and 3,000 sold (down 3%) beyond the U.S. As on the Global 200, she achieves her second Global Excl. U.S. top 10, after "Lalisa" (No. 2, Sept. 25). With Lisa as a member, BLACKPINK has also tallied two Global Excl. U.S. top 10s: "Ice Cream" (No. 6, September 2020) and "Lovesick Girls" (No. 1, upon its debut, October 2020). COLD HEART continuing to rise Very impressive success for LISA, another global top 10 hit
  2. The Official Top 30 biggest-selling female albums of all time in the UK have been revealed. Featuring worldwide superstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga alongside homegrown British acts like Adele and Amy Winehouse, The Top 30 was counted down by Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 today (October 16) as part of celebrations for National Album Day, which this year has the theme of Women In Music. 30% of the list is comprised of British women artists, with nine entries from acts hailing from the UK. The list is topped by Adele, who reigns supreme with her second album 21. She also ranks fifth with her 2015 album 25, and had a third entry with debut record 19 at Number 19, also meaning that Adele has the most entries of any act on the list. There are several other women with repeat entries in the Top 30; Dido has two entries in the Top 10 with No Angel (7) and Life For Rent (10), while Madonna, Whitney Houston, Rihanna and Celine Dion all have two albums each in the Top 30. You can view the full list below, but first here's a closer look and breakdown of the Top 5: 5. Adele - 25 (2015) Official Chart peak: Number 1 Sales: 3.36 million Most-streamed song: Hello, 178 million streams Adele's third album sticks close to a formula the London singer has perfected. After an album focusing on the birth of her son Angelo was scrapped, 25 re-focuses Adele's gaze back to love-lorn ballads and supersized torch songs. Lead by the gigantic comeback hit Hello - both Adele's most-streamed song ever and the most-streamed song in this list - 25 proved that if it ain't broke...don't fix it. 4. Shania Twain - Come On Over (1998) Official Chart peak: Number 1 Sales: 3.41 million Most-streamed song: Man! I Feel Like A Woman, 41 million streams Before Taylor Swift crossed country boundaries with her blockbuster pop album 1989 in 2014, Shania showed that you could straddle with both genres with ease. Filled to the brim with hits (and ellipsis and exclamation marks), the tracks of Come On Over bristle with dance-pop (That Don't Impress Me Much) and tender acoustic ballads (You're Still The One) while its biggest hit, Man! I Feel Like A Woman is a coquettish ode to being free - no matter who you are. 3. Madonna. - The Immaculate Collection (1990) Official Chart peak: Number 1 Sales: 3.77 million Most-streamed song: Like A Prayer, 44 million streams Madonna never did anything by the book, the same goes for her first greatest hits collection. Not just a celebration of her legacy (which by 1990 was already enviable) but a re-invention of it, The Immaculate Collection takes all of Madonna's early-career hits (Holiday, Like A Virgin, Papa Can't Preach) and re-packages them for a new decade. 2. Amy Winehouse - Back To Black (2006) Official Chart peak: Number 1 Sales: 3.91 million Most-streamed song: Back To Black, 71 million streams Amy Winehouse's second and final album released during her lifetime is a record imbued with shades of light and dark, just like the artist herself. Above all a tribute to the music of 1960s girl groups like The Supremes and The Shangri-Las, Back To Black became Amy's second UK number 1 album, and was also previously named the second-biggest album of the 21st century so far. On both these occasions, Back To Black lost out on the top spot to one album (and one artist) in particular. Can you guess who? It can only be... 1. Adele - 21 (2011) Official Chart peak: Number 1 Sales: 5 million Most-streamed song: Someone Like You, 146 million streams The defining break-up album for a generation, Adele's 21 is officially the biggest female album of all time in the UK. Its most popular track, the piano ballad Someone Like You is not only Adele's biggest song in the UK, it's also the 25th best-selling song in the UK of all time too. As the world looks ahead to Adele's much-hyped return with fourth album 30 in November, 21 is a timeless reminder of the innate power of Adele's voice and why so many have felt drawn towards her and her stories in the first place. BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley said: “Adele has enchanted us from the very beginning with her voice, her songs and her personality. When she writes, she writes from the heart and that’s why her music resonates with so many people. She tells it like it is, whether onstage to thousands of people at Glastonbury or through the songs on her albums, and that’s why she is so loved and a global superstar. "She sings it like she means it - because she does. She also has a phenomenal voice and hasn’t changed from the very first Live Lounge I did with her at Radio 1 to when I spoke to her just before she headlined Glasto. Always honest, down to earth, a superstar and very very funny.” The Official Top 30 biggest-selling female artist albums in UK chart history POS TITLE ARTIST MOST STREAMED TRACK 1 21 ADELE SOMEONE LIKE YOU 2 BACK TO BLACK AMY WINEHOUSE BACK TO BLACK 3 THE IMMACULATE COLLECTION MADONNA LIKE A PRAYER 4 COME ON OVER SHANIA TWAIN MAN! Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) returns to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for a second nonconsecutive week atop the list. The album surges from No. 157 to No. 1 with 152,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 7 (up 1,931%), according to MRC Data. The set vaults back to No. 1 after the Oct. 1 release of a signed CD available only in Swift’s webstore and its vinyl LP. Nigeria's CKay pushes 4-2 on the Global 200 with "Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)"; Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" holds at No. 3, after reaching No. 2; Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" rebounds 5-4, following a week at No. 1; and Coldplay and BTS' "My Universe" falls to No. 5 a week after it launched at No. 1, down 34% to 63.4 million streams and 79% to 29,700 sold. Elsewhere in the Global 200's top 10, Elton John and Dua Lipa's "Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)" reaches the region, climbing 12-9 with 34.4 million streams (up 9%) and 27,700 sold (up 3%). John posts his first top 10 on the chart and Lipa adds her second, after "Levitating" hit No. 2 in May. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, "Heart" ascends 9-7 for a new high. On the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100 (where "Stay" leads for a seventh week), "Heart" jumps 46-32, becoming John's first top 40 hit since April 1999, when he charted with the No. 29-peaking "Written in the Stars," with LeAnn Rimes; he appeared in the ranking's top 40 for a record 30 consecutive years, from "Your Song" in 1970 through "Stars." 10. YoungBoy Never Broke Again Earns Fourth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 With 'Sincerely, Kentrell' He’s the first hip-hop artist to have a No. 1 album in each of the last three years: 2021, 2020 & 2019. YoungBoy Never Broke Again achieves his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his latest release, Sincerely, Kentrell, debuts atop the list dated Oct. 9. The set earned 137,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 30, according to MRC Data. With Sincerely, Kentrell’s debut, the rapper becomes the second act, and only hip-hop artist, with a No. 1 album in each of the last three years: 2021, 2020 and 2019. The prolific artist has charted a total of 18 albums on the Billboard 200 since making his debut on the list in August of 2017. The 21-year-old previously hit No. 1 with Top and 38 Baby 2 (both in 2020, that September and May, respectively) and AI YoungBoy 2 (in October 2019). The only other act with a No. 1 album in 2021, 2020 and 2019 is Taylor Swift, who also tallied four chart-topping releases in those years: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, Evermore and Folklore in 2020 and Lover in 2019. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Oct. 9, 2021-dated chart (where Sincerely, Kentrell debuts at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's website on Oct. 5. 15. Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ No. 1 for Third Week on Billboard 200 Albums Chart Plus: Lil Nas X and NCT 127 debut in top three. Drake’s Certified Lover Boy rules the Billboard 200 albums chart for a third consecutive and total week, as the set earned 171,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 23 (down 28%), according to MRC Data. The album opened atop the list two weeks ago with the year’s biggest week for an album: 613,000 units. With a third week at No. 1, Certified has the total most weeks atop the list for an R&B/hip-hop effort in over a year, since Lil Baby’s My Turn spent its fifth and final nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the July 11, 2020-dated chart. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. 2, 2021-dated chart (where Certified Lover Boy spends a third week at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's website on Sept. 28. 20. Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' Spends Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart Plus: Kacey Musgraves and Baby Keem debut in the top five, while Metallica’s self-titled album returns to the top 10 after its 30th anniversary reissue. Drake’s Certified Lover Boy spends a second week atop the Billboard 200 albums chart, as the set earned 236,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 16 (down 61%), according to MRC Data. The set opened at No. 1 a week ago with the year’s biggest week for an album, 613,000 units. Also in the top 10: Kacey Musgraves’ Star-Crossed debuts at No. 3, Baby Keem’s The Melodic Blue bows at No. 5 and Metallica’s 1991 self-titled album (often referred to as The Black Album) jumps from No. 158 to No. 9 following its 30th anniversary reissue. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. The new Sept. 25, 2021-dated chart (where Certified Lover Boy holds at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's website on Sept. 21. The track dipped to No. 2 on the Hot 100 two weeks ago, as BTS' "Butter" returned for a 10th week at the summit, and No. 6 a week ago as Drake blasted in at No. 1 with "Way 2 Sexy," featuring Future and Young Thug, as he claimed a record nine songs in the top 10 simultaneously, including the entire top five, a feat previously achieved only by The Beatles for a week in 1964. "Stay" also takes over as the most-heard song on U.S. radio, reaching No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart. Elsewhere in the top of the latest Hot 100, Walker Hayes' viral country hit "Fancy Like" surges to the top five, jumping from No. 21 to No. 5 (after reaching a prior No. 9 best), following the arrival of its remix featuring Kesha. 22. Internationally: Stats: "Stay" by The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Justin Bieber, from Canada, posts an eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song drew 115.7 million streams (down 3%) and sold 23,400 downloads (essentially even week-over-week) worldwide in the Sept. 10-16 tracking week. "Stay," already the first track in 2021 to log as many as five weeks of over 100 million global streams, extends its run to six such frames, after tallying 119.8 million (Sept. 18), 125.7 million (Sept. 11), 124.9 million (Sept. 4), 123.7 million (Aug. 28) and 108.5 million (Aug. 21). The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" adds a sixth week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 91 million streams and 11,200 sold (down 3% in each metric) in territories outside the U.S. in the Sept. 10-16 tracking week. LiSA launches at No. 2 on the Global 200 with "Lalisa," her second top 10 and highest rank on the chart, after "Homura" hit No. 8 in October 2020. South Korea's BLACKPINK, with LiSA, born in Thailand, as a member, has also reached Nos. 8 and 2 highs on the survey, with, respectively, "Ice Cream," with Selena Gomez, in September 2020 and "Lovesick Girls" the following month. Additionally in the Global 200 top 10, Glass Animals reach the region for the first time with "Heat Waves," which, jumping 20-9, completes the lengthiest ascent to the tier: at 37 weeks, it passes the 24-week rise of The Kid LAROI and Bieber's "Stay." "Heat Waves" remains viral on TikTok, with an added boost from the #allithinkaboutisyou trend on the platform, playing off the song's lyrical hook. The trend has surged since late August, translating to over 300 million views to-date, including a clip from the English band itself. https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/9632750/the-kid-laroi-justin-bieber-lisa-ed-sheeran-glass-animals-global-charts/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social LISA almost hitting #1 Heat Waves being THAT global, a worldwide top 10 smash The longevity is incredible! Hope I Don't Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance) eventually smashes in 2022.

  24. Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart With Biggest Week for an Album in Over a Year The set’s songs generate blockbuster 743.7 million on-demand streams in the U.S. Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album makes a spectacular debut atop the Billboard 200 chart with the biggest week for any album in over a year. The long-awaited set, which was released on Sept. 3, is Drake’s 10th No. 1 and starts with 613,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 9, according to MRC Data. That’s the biggest week for an album since the Aug. 8, 2020-dated chart, when Taylor Swift’s Folklore launched at No. 1 with 846,000 units. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. The new Sept. 18, 2021-dated chart (where Certified Lover Boy debuts at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's website on Sept. 13. For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram. Of Certified Lover Boy’s 613,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 9, SEA units comprise 562,000 units (equaling 743.67 million on-demand streams of the album’s 21 tracks), album sales comprise 46,000 (all from digital album sales; a CD release is due on Oct. 1) and TEA units comprise 5,000 units. https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/9628162/drake-certified-lover-boy-number-one-billboard-200-album-chart Billboard 200: #1(new) @Drake, Certified Lover Boy 613,000 [743.7 million on-demand streams | 46,000 pure sales]. Drake boasts one of the most dominant weeks in the 63-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, as he becomes the first artist ever to claim as many as nine of the top 10 positions in a single frame. Among his Hot 100 haul, the superstar infuses the entire top five, a feat previously achieved only by The Beatles for a week in 1964. Leading the way, Drake's "Way 2 Sexy," featuring Future and Young Thug, launches at No. 1 on the Hot 100. In all, Drake debuts 21 songs on the Hot 100, all from his new album Certified Lover Boy (released Sept. 3 on OVO Sound/Republic Records), which blasts in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 613,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 9, according to MRC Data, the biggest weekly sum for an album in over a year. Meanwhile, with all nine of Drake's new Hot 100 top 10s from Certified Lover Boy, the set is the first album ever to generate as many as nine top 10 Hot 100 hits. The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. All charts (dated Sept. 18) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Sept. 14).
