The track, which was originally released in 1985 but saw a resurgence this year following its feature on Stranger Things, holds on at the chart peak despite strong competition from newcomers Joji and LF System. Rising star Joji soars 15 places to Number 2 with emotional viral hit Glimpse Of Us, the artist’s first-ever Top 10 single in Ireland, while Scottish DJ duo LF SYSTEM climb two to a new peak of Number 3 with summer anthem Afraid To Feel. Drake returns to the Official Irish Charts in a big way this week as he claims three simultaneous Top 10 singles following the release of his album Honestly, Nevermind. At Number 7, and this week’s highest new entry, is Massive, followed closely by Jimmy Crooks ft. 21 Savage at Number 9, and Falling Back at Number 10. Outside the Top 10, Dublin duo Belters Only are flying up the Top 50 with I Will Survive, this week up nine to Number 17 to become their third Top 20 single, and landing just ahead of Beyonce’s brand new single Break My Soul at 18 – a strong start for the track which was only released on Tuesday. More tracks on the rise include Doja Cat’s Vegas (27), up 12 this week, and Future’s Wait For U ft. Drake and Tems (33) which leaps eight. Gerry Cinnamon returns to the Top 50 with Canter (39).
  4. BTS Lands Sixth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With ‘Proof’ Plus: Carrie Underwood scores her 10th consecutive top 10 on the Billboard 200 with 'Denim & Rhinestones.' BTS’ new compilation album Proof debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated June 25), garnering the pop group its sixth chart-topper. The retrospective – consisting mostly of previously released material – bows with 314,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending June 16, according to Luminate. The overwhelmingly majority of that unit figure was driven by CD album sales. The anthology was released on June 10, four days before the group announced an indefinite “hiatus” to focus on solo ventures. The seven-member South Korean act was formed in 2010 and made its U.S. Billboard chart debut in 2013. BTS has tallied 15 entries on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Also in the new top 10, Carrie Underwood notches her 10th consecutive top 10 album on the Billboard 200 – the entirety of her charting efforts – as her new studio release Denim & Rhinestones launches in the region. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new June 25, 2022-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on June 21. Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” logs a seventh week atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Meanwhile, Joji‘s “Glimpse of Us” launches at No. 10 on the Hot 100, marking the singer-songwriter’s first visit to the region. 10. Kate Bush tops this week’s Official Singles Chart with Running Up That Hill, 37 years after the song’s release, breaking a slew of Official Chart records in the process, the Official Charts Company can confirm. The song’s popularity has exploded in previous weeks, becoming a zeitgeist-defining moment not just in the UK but around the world following its inclusion in the latest season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, introducing the warped New Wave track to a whole new generation of fans. By landing at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, Kate Bush achieves three all-time Official Chart records simultaneously: Kate boasts the longest-ever gap between Number 1 singles in Official Chart history. With 44 years between her 1978 chart topper Wuthering Heights and 2022’s Running Up That Hill, she beats Tom Jones’s 42-year gap between Green Green Grass of Home and charity single (Barry) Islands in the Stream. Moreover, Kate now claims the record of longest time taken for a single to reach Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. Running Up That Hill first entered the chart in August 1985 and now hits the top spot 37 years later. The record was previously held by Wham!, who saw Last Christmas top the Official Singles Chart 36 years after its release. If that’s not enough record-smashing for one week, Kate today also becomes the oldest female artist ever to score a Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. At 63 years and 11 months, she replaces Cher, who was 52 when Believe topped the Official Singles Chart in 1998. Kate now places fifth on the list of oldest artists to score a UK Number 1 single. https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/kate-bushs-running-up-that-hill-is-official-charts-number-1-single-singer-becomes-3-x-official-charts-record-breaker-with-stranger-things-success__36605/
  11. Internationally: Stats: Harry Styles’ “As It Was” returns for a 10th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. It’s just the second song to reign for double-digit weeks so far, after The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” dominated for 11 frames beginning last August. BTS’ “Yet to Come” roars in at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart with 96.5 million streams and 42,000 sold in territories outside the U.S. in the June 10-16 tracking week. Elsewhere in the Global Excl. U.S. top 10, BTS’ “Run BTS,” also from Proof, debuts at No. 8 with 33 million streams and 19,000 sold outside the U.S. Thanks to “Yet to Come” and “Run BTS,” the group ups its count to nine top 10s on the chart. Plus, Joji’s “Glimpse of Us” debuts at No. 9 on Global Excl. U.S. (33.9 million streams, 1,000 sold). The ballad marks the first appearance on the chart for the Japanese-born singer-songwriter, who originally broke through as a comedian/personality on YouTube (helping build buzz for Baauer’s 2013 viral smash, and a five-week No. 1 on the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100, “Harlem Shake”). As It Was 10 weeks at #1 Happy Kate got a week in at #1 last week Still hoping Shakira makes top 10 in about 2 weeks.

  13. Bad Bunny’s ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ Bounces Back to No. 1 on Billboard 200 Plus: Post Malone and SEVENTEEN debut in the top 10. Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti rebounds to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated June 18) for a second week on top (rising from No. 2), following its debut at No. 1 on the May 21 chart. After its chart-topping opening, the album sat in the No. 2 slot for the next three weeks. The set earned 137,000 equivalent album units (down 3%) in the U.S. in the week ending June 9, according to Luminate. Un Verano Sin Ti is the first album released in 2022 to exceed 100,000 equivalent album units earned in each of its first five weeks. (The last title to do so was Adele’s late 2021 release 30, on the Dec. 4, 2021-Jan. 1, 2022 charts.) Also in the new top 10, Post Malone lands his fourth top 10 effort with the No. 2 arrival of Twelve Carat Toothache, while SEVENTEEN logs its first top 10 with the debut of SEVENTEEN 4th Album: Face the Sun. The new June 18, 2022-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on June 14. Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” adds a sixth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. It launched at No. 1 in April. Concurrently, Kate Bush‘s 1985 classic “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” surges to No. 4 on the Hot 100, a week after it re-entered at No. 8 – far surpassing its prior No. 30 peak and becoming Bush’s first top 10 on the chart – sparked by its sync in the new fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things. The song is the top-selling and most-streamed title in the U.S., as it tops the Digital Song Sales chart for a second week and rises to No. 1 on Streaming Songs. “Hill” also completes the longest run to the Hot 100’s top five in terms of years from a debut to the top five – 36 years, nine months and two weeks – for a non-holiday hit in the chart’s 63-year history. Elsewhere, Jack Harlow‘s “First Class,” at No. 2 on the Hot 100, after three weeks at the summit, takes over as the most-heard song on radio, rising to the top of the Radio Songs chart, and Post Malone‘s “I Like You (A Happier Song),” featuring Doja Cat, debuts at No. 9 on the Hot 100. The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. All charts (dated June 18, 2022) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (June 14). 14. TOP 20: BTS RETURNS TO #1 BTS lands another #1, its fourth and the first for label BigHit’s new partnership with Geffen, just as the group's "hiatus" is announced. Bad Bunny's Un Verano Sin Ti will drop only slightly as it cements its status as 2022’s Album of the Summer. Capitol Nashville’s Carrie Underwood and TDE/RCA’s SZA are both headed for this week’s Top 10. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to spend the remainder of the day finding "apparently inebriated Rudy Giuliani" memes. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=331862&title=TOP-20:-BTS-RETURNS-TO-#1

  17. KATE BUSH HAS A #1 GLOBAL SMASH IN 2022 Internationally: Stats: Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God),” originally released in 1985, rises to No. 1 on the Global 200, a week after it launched at No. 3, fueled by its placement in Netflix’s Stranger Things. The fourth season of the ’80s-set show, which premiered May 27, incorporates the song in multiple episodes, serving as a recurring theme for the character of Max Mayfield, played by Sadie Sink. The song drew 85.9 million streams (up 75%) and sold 37,200 sold (up 30%) worldwide in the June 3-9 tracking week. “Hill” is the song released the earliest to top the Global 200 so far, surpassing Mariah Carey’s 1994 carol “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has led for eight weeks over the past two holiday seasons. Also in the Global 200’s top 10, Post Malone’s “I Like You (A Happier Song),” featuring Doja Cat, debuts at No. 7. The song, from the former’s new album Twelve Carat Toothache, starts with 38.6 million streams and 5,600 sold globally. Post Malone adds his second top 10 on the chart and scores his best rank, after the set’s “One Right Now,” with The Weekend, debuted and peaked at No. 9 in November. Doja Cat collects her fourth top 10 on the tally. Harry Styles’ “As It Was” notches a record-setting 10th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, all from its debut atop the list, with 68 million streams (down 4%) and 8,400 sold (down 7%) in territories outside the U.S. in the June 3-9 tracking week. Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” surges 5-2 in its second week on Global Excl. U.S., with 57.2 million streams (up 80%) and 14,900 sold (up 46%) outside the U.S. Shakira and Rauw Alejandro’s “Te Felicito” flies 29-6 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. The song soars by 89% to 44.3 million streams and 178% to 1,200 sold outside the U.S., sparked by buzz on TikTok (and alongside Shakira’s June 4 announcement that she and Gerard Piqué separated after a 11-year relationship). Shakira posts her first Global Excl. U.S. top 10 since the chart began and Alejandro adds his fourth. Plus, Bad Bunny’s “Efecto” jumps 13-9 on Global Excl. U.S., driven by its 21% gain to 33.6 million streams beyond the U.S. The song becomes his record-padding 12th top 10 on the chart – and the eighth from his Un Verano Sin Ti album; no other act has even that many top 10s at all on the list so far, as Justin Bieber and BTS follow Bad Bunny with seven total top 10s each. KATE AND SHAKIRA Shakira already having an international top 10 smash

  24. Harry Styles’ ‘Harry’s House’ Holds at No. 1 for Second Week on Billboard 200 Chart Plus: Def Leppard debuts in top 10. Harry Styles’ Harry’s House holds atop the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated June 11) for a second week, following its debut at No. 1 a week ago. The set earned 160,500 equivalent album units (down 69%) in the U.S. in the week ending June 2, according to Luminate. It launched with 521,500 units. Harry’s House is the first album to spend its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1 since Adele’s 30 spent its first six weeks atop the list (charts dated Dec. 4, 2021-Jan. 8, 2022). Also in the new top 10, Def Leppard scores its eighth top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with the debut of Diamond Star Halos. The new June 11, 2022-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on June 7. Concurrently, Kate Bush‘s 1985 classic “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 8, far surpassing its prior No. 30 peak – and becoming Bush’s first top 10 on the chart – sparked by its synch in the new fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
