  7. Bon Jovi's Back at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart Bon Jovi’s former No. 1 album, This House Is Not for Sale, is back atop the Billboard 200 chart for a second week. The set re-enters the tally with 120,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending March 1, according to Nielsen Music, up from a negligible figure in the previous week. Essentially all of its sum is traditional album sales. The surge back to No. 1 is owed nearly entirely to sales generated by a concert ticket/album sale redemption offer with Bon Jovi’s upcoming U.S. arena tour. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new March 10-dated chart (where Bon Jovi returns to No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's websites on Tuesday (March 6). https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8230391/bon-jovis-back-at-no-1-on-billboard-200-albums-chart Drake's 'God's Plan' No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for Sixth Week, Post Malone's 'Psycho' Debuts at No. 2 "God's Plan" reigns with 92.8 million U.S. streams, while "Psycho" matches Malone's best bow. Drake's "God's Plan" dominates the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a sixth week (dating to its debut at No. 1), logging a hefty 92.8 million U.S. streams, according to Nielsen Music. The song, whose official video arrived Feb. 16, has now logged two of the top four streaming weeks ever. Meanwhile, Post Malone's "Psycho" launches at No. 2 on the Hot 100, equaling Malone's highest debut and marking a new best rank for featured artist Ty Dolla $ign. Let's run down the top 10 of the Hot 100 (dated March 10), which blends all-genre streaming, airplay and sales data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (March 6). https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8231969/drake-gods-plan-post-malone-psycho-hot-100 Hot 100 Bubbling Under Hot 100

Of that sum, 40,000 were in traditional album sales (down 23 percent). A week ago, the album debuted at No. 1 with 154,000 units (52,000 in album sales). The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new March 3-dated chart (where Black Panther: The Album spends a second frame at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's websites on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Black Panther: The Album — which features music from and inspired by the Marvel Studios film Black Panther — is the second soundtrack to notch two weeks at No. 1 in 2018. It follows The Greatest Showman, which logged two weeks atop the lists dated Jan. 13 and 20. In addition, 2018 is the first year since 2014 where the chart has housed two soundtracks with more than a week at No. 1 each. It last happened with Frozen (14 weeks at No. 1) and Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 (two weeks at No. 1). https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8219136/black-panther-album-billboard-200-no-1-second-week

  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/albums Ed Sheeran's ÷ relinquishes control of the album chart for the third time, slipping 1-2 (28,148 sales), while London Grammar's second album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing debuts atop the list on sales of 43,403 copies, including 2,780 from sales-equivalent streams. That's a 31.01% first week tally than the London trio's introductory album, If You Wait, which sold 33,130 copies on debuting and peaking at No.2 in September 2013, having already spawned the Top 40 hits Wasting My Young Years (No.31) and Strong (No.16).By comparison, the first two offcuts from Truth Is A Beautiful Thing have both fallen short of the Top 75, Rooting For You reaching No.58 in January and Big Picture peaking at No.73 in February. Both failed to ignite on radio with the former reaching No.442 (sic) on the radio airplay chart, and the latter No.58. New single Oh Woman Oh Man is getting a better reception on the airwaves and charges 83-42 this week. Confusingly, it isn't doing well on the singles chart, where it is No.91 (5,485 sales), with even the release of a seven-inch single failing to push it into the Top 75 thus far. After consecutive No.1 albums with Teenage Dream in 2010 and Prism in 2013 in both The UK and The USA, Katy Perry seems to be on track to make it a hat trick in America with new album Witness projected to sail to the US summit this weekend - but in the UK it has to settle for a No.6 debut (16,153 sales). Chained To The Rhythm (feat. Skip Marley) was the first single from the set, and suggested Perry was back on form, reaching No.5, but Bon Appetit (feat. Migos) and Swish Swish (feat. Nicki Minaj) have struggled, with peak positions of No.37 and No.40 respectively. All three singles rebound, following the release of Witness, with Swish Swish up 77-47 (11,161 sales), Bon Appetit rising 66-57 (9,061 sales) and Chained To The Rhythm advancing 82-68 (7,401 sales). Prism - her third album - debuted in pole position on sales of 53,827 copies, a little below the 54,176 copies Teenage Dream sold on debut. Perry's first album, One Of The Boys opened and peaked at number 11 on sales of 18,796 in 2008. Teenage Dream has sold 1,308,384 thus far, with One Of The Boys on 700,261 sales and Prism on 440,272.

  22. 'Black Panther: The Album' Heading for Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart Black Panther: The Album is set for a second week atop the Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters. Prognosticators suggest the set — which is the companion album to the blockbuster Marvel Studios film Black Panther — could earn around 130,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 22. That would follow the album’s No. 1 debut on the chart, after it tallied 154,000 units in the frame ending Feb. 15, according to Nielsen Music. Notably, Black Panther: The Album’s second week on the chart will reflect the impact of the film’s huge debut in movie theaters on Feb. 16. The album’s opening week reflected the tracking week ending Feb. 15.
