  1. Black Widow herself stated in 2021, after fueding with Disney she will continue to work with Kevin Fiege on a Secret Marvel Movie. In 2022 she went on record saying she was done with Marvel. However today she revealed she is still working on a Mystery MCU project going Forward! Scarlett Johansson has confirmed that the mystery #MCU project which she's producing "is still happening" at #MarvelStudios! Yes. It is still happening, [but] not currently because nothing is happening right now. We’re all sort of in this holding pattern as we wait out the writers’ strike and potentially our own guild strike, and so on and so forth.” Ready for Natasha to return? Or Will Scarlet be producing and directing a Lost in Translation style Yelena Sequel?!
  2. Directed by: James Cameron Screenplay: James Cameron, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver Cinematography: Russell Carpenter Music: Simon Franglen Editing: David Brenner, James Cameron, John Refoua, Stephen E. Rivkin Cast: Sam Worthington as Jake Sully Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri Britain Dalton as Lo'ak Sigourney Weaver as Kiri Trinity Jo-Li Bliss as Tuktirey ("Tuk") Jack Champion as Miles "Spider" Socorro Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch Bailey Bass as Tsireya Kate Winslet as Ronal Cliff Curtis as Tonowari Joel David Moore as Dr. Norm Spellman CCH Pounder as Mo'at Filip Geljo as Ao'nung Edie Falco as General Frances Ardmore Brendan Cowell as Captain Mick Scoresby Jemaine Clement as Dr. Ian Garvin Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge Dileep Rao as Dr. Max Patel Matt Gerald as Corporal Lyle Wainfleet Oona Chaplin as Varang Michelle Yeoh as Dr. Karina Mogue David Thewlis as TBA EMPIRE: Where next for Pandora? Expect Quaritch’s employers, the RDA, led by Edie Falco’s General Ardmore, to continue making Pandora a new home for humanity — “Way Of Water was Quaritch’s vendetta but Ardmore’s or the RDA’s goals have not changed” — and Brendan Cowell’s already iconic oceanic hunter Mick Scoresby will return, despite losing an arm, to bark orders at minions. Happily, the heart-stealing tulkun Payakan will remain a fixture. “We view Payakan as a character, not just as a creature,” says Landau. “We will continue to explore his relationship with Lo’ak.” But just as Cameron and Landau are bringing characters, creatures and tech from film to film, they are also introducing new locales and clans. In Part 3, we will meet the Ash People, an aggressive, volcanic race of people led by Varang, played by Game Of Thrones’ Oona Chaplin. Part 3 flips the script, presenting the Na’vi for the first time as antagonists, with the ‘sky people’ couched in a more positive light. After a big time-jump in Avatar 4, the final film will come to Earth. The series’ only previous glimpse of our planet has been in deleted scenes from the first film, presenting it as a stark dystopia. “There’s over-population, and a depletion of our natural resources that make life harder,” confirms Landau. “But we don’t want to paint a bleak picture for where our world is going. The films are also about the idea that we can change course.” VARIETY: ‘Avatar 3’ Is Told Through the Eyes of Lo’ak, Says James Cameron: ‘We Have a Different Narrator for Each’ of the Next Three Sequels James Cameron let it slip that his “Avatar” franchise will feature a different narrator for each of the remaining three sequels. Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, was the narrator in “Avatar” and “Avatar: The Way of Water.” For the upcoming and still-untitled “Avatar 3,” which is now post-production, Jake’s son Lo’ak will take over as narrator. Jake was our voiceover narrator for movie one and for movie two, and we have a different narrator for each of the subsequent films. We see it through the eyes of a different character. Movie three is through Lo’ak’s eyes.” ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Michelle Yeoh flying high in Avatar sequels and more action-packed sci-fi roles Yeoh plays a scientist named Dr. Karina Mogue in director James Cameron's sequels to his 2009 blockbuster, the first of which is released December 16. "So, yes, I am in the Avatar sequels and as you know we can't really talk very much about it," says the actress. "But it's James Cameron! Come on! I would be the tea lady for James Cameron! We shot for a few weeks, and I was so impressed with the work that he's done, the work that he's doing, the energy. He's a genius, he's a walking genius. And I really really enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to go back soon, I hope."
  3. New look at Skydance & Apple’s musical fairytale Spellbound starring Rachel Zegler, Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, Tituss Burgess, John Lithgow, Jenifer Lewis & Nathan Lane. Featuring original songs by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) & lyrics by Glenn Slater (Tangled).
  4. A new Ocean’s Eleven film starring Margot Robbie is in “active development” at Warner Bros., Deadline can confirm. Four-time Emmy winner Jay Roach is looking to direct the pic, which is not yet greenlighted. While we hear that the film scripted by Carrie Solomon will be set in Europe in the 1960s, further details with regard to its plot are being kept under wraps. Robbie and Tom Ackerly will produce for LuckyChap, alongside Roach and Michelle Graham for Everyman Pictures. Gary Ross, Olivia Milch and LuckyChap’s Josey McNamara will exec produce alongside Village Roadshow, which may also co-finance the project. Warner Bros. is eyeing a production start in spring of 2023.
  5. Love how unhinged some of them are, literally my comfort movies Scary Movie, Not Another Teen Movie, White Chicks, Mean Girls, the list goes on I love this dumb humor, sorry
  6. "The big July 21st showdown between OPPENHEIMER and BARBIE is now only six weeks away, which means it’s time for The Quorum to make its initial box office projection. As of today, we are projecting an opening weekend of $30M-$35M for OPPENHEIMER" They also cite a surprisingly low awareness score of 24% and Nolan's track record for strong multipliers as clear factors. Maybe word-of-mouth drives strong legs, assuming reviews and audience scores are strong.

  12. The new teyana taylor featured film has met with critical acclaim and high audience rating…https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/a_thousand_and_one A Thousand and One Struggling but unapologetically living on her own terms, Inez is moving from shelter to shelter in mid-1990s New York City. With her 6-year-old son Terry in foster care and unable to leave him again, she kidnaps him so they can build their life together. As the years go by, their family grows and Terry becomes a smart yet quiet teenager, but the secret that has defined their lives threatens to destroy the home they have so improbably built. In her stunning writing and directing debut feature, Sundance alum A.V. Rockwell tells a deeply American story of a mother and son living for each other in a gentrifying city often uninterested in the reality of their lives. With a career-defining performance from Teyana Taylor as a mother fiercely committed to make a future for her child, a Thousand And One is an elegant ode to the terribly beautiful power of family as an anchor in an ever-changing world, making us into who we are in ways we can only haltingly understand. https://festival.sundance.org/program/film/638a20cf77dd3d38f9807395

The Good Half starring Nick Jonas

New movie premiering at Tribeca Film festival this June Nick Jonas stars as Renn, an emotionally distant writer who returns to his hometown of Cleveland for his beloved mother’s funeral, after having spent years successfully avoiding interactions with his high-strung sister (Brittany Snow), bumbling but well-meaning father (Matt Walsh), and untrustworthy step-father (David Arquette). While in town, he forges a new relationship with a charming, energetic stranger (Alexandra Shipp) who pushes him to realize that he can’t avoid conflict forever — with his family or within himself. https://tribecafilm.com/films/good-half-2023

  17. On this day, 20 years ago, Finding Nemo was officially released. Let's reminisce on the days when Pixar was at the top of the world
  18. Soul, Turning Red, Luca were acclaimed yet had no theatrical release in the US. Lightyear, Onward, Elemental had mixed to bad reactions but got theatrical releases. Onward had decent critic reviews but fans don't seem to like it online (Chris Pratt is in it). Is Disney trying to do to Pixar what they did to Treasure Planet?
  19. According to one of the most followed tracking source in the industry (box office pro) The little Mermaid is set to open with 70-90M on the first weekend and 235-305M total. This would be definitely worst than 192M for The Lion King, 174M for Beauty and the Beast and even 91M for Aladdin. Is this a disappointing prediction or it's ok? I think the 90M - 305M even if under the expectations would be good anyway, while a 70-235M would be in the "really disappoitingg zone" for a project like this. What do you think about it?. https://www.boxofficepro.com/long-range-box-office-forecast-disneys-the-little-mermaid/
