  2. Only Fans star, Christina Ashten Gourkani’s cause of death has been revealed. According to Palo Alto newspaper, The Daily Post, the 34-year-old died of cardiac arrest after reportedly having someone who was an unlicensed practitioner inject what is believed to be silicone into her buttocks. Christina is said to have hired Vivian Gomez, of Florida, to assist her with the procedure, the publication claims, noting that Gomez allegedly traveled to Burlingame to meet with the social media influencer in April. The 50-year-old was reportedly arrested at the Fort Lauderdale Airport and is expected to be extradited to Redwood City to face criminal charges related to the incident. Christina was known for being a Kim Kardashian lookalike. Her family shared the heartbreaking news of her passing online at the time. “It is with deep sorrow and an [immensely] heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani.” Her loved ones created a Go Fund Me account to help cover the funeral costs and shared the horrifying details of her passing.

  4. Meg Ryan made a rare public appearance on Thursday evening, in support of Michael J. Fox's new Apple TV+ documentary. The 61-year-old actress attended a special screening of Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City. There, she was photographed with Fox, 61, and his wife, Tracy Pollan, 62, as the three celebrated the upcoming release of the film, which recounts Fox’s story, going from a small Canadian boy to one of the biggest stars in Hollywood during the 1980s to his subsequent (and ongoing) battle with Parkinson’s disease. The recent outing comes over a year after Ryan was last seen attending a dinner hosted by Jane Campion in March 2022. The Los Angeles event at the Hotel Bel-Air was in support of the director's Netflix film, The Power of the Dog. Ryan's appearance at Fox's screening also comes almost a year to the day when her return to the world of romantic comedies was first announced. At the time, she was slated to direct and star alongside David Duchovny in What Happens Later, a film based on the play Shooting Star by Steven Dietz. At the time, ET reported that the rom-com -- which will be Ryan's first since 2008 -- centers on exes Willa (Ryan) and Bill (Duchovny), who are reunited when they find themselves snowed in at an airport overnight. Willa is still a free spirit, while Bill is coping with a recent separation -- but over the course of their night together, the pair is compelled to look back on their shared past and revisit any feelings that still linger between them. "We couldn’t be more thrilled to have the incredible teams at Bleecker Street and HanWay alongside us as we bring this special story to the screen," What Happens Later producers said in a press release. "We believe it’s a look at life and love that audiences the world over will relate to and hunger for in these uncertain times when connection and reconciliation feel more important than ever." "HERE WE GO!!" Ryan posted to Instagram, with a photo of the film's poster. Since then, little has been heard about the status of the project while Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie is set to debut Friday, May 12 on Apple TV+. While speaking to ET, the actor reflected on the documentary. "I love the way that they did it," he said. "They applied this sort of footage to the narrative, to my story, and they found situations in films that acted out the -- because it actually happened in my life." He added, "It's a really good film." https://www.etonline.com/meg-ryan-makes-rare-public-appearance-in-support-of-michael-j-foxs-documentary-204075?fbclid=IwAR0NHCTc76Ind3Jr3MXqME005aLfBtplxdMkc0Hugc-g6TSa2FKcl3wFY98

  6. Gwyneth Paltrow is getting personal. The Oscar-winning actress is opening up about some of her most high-profile past romances on an all-new episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. In the latest episode, posted on Tuesday, the 50-year-old Goop founder sat down with host Alex Cooper and dished on the A-listers she's dated in the past -- including Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. Recalling her '90s romance with Pitt, she reflected on meeting the Oscar winner while filming Seven, in 1995, and it was "Major love at first sight. It was crazy." Their romance evolved quickly, and the pair ended up getting engaged but broke things off in 1997 before ever tying the knot. "I had a lot of development to do, looking back in hindsight. In a lot of ways, I didn't really fully start to come into myself until I was 40 years old." Paltrow shared. "And I had such a pleasing issue. I didn’t really even understand how to listen to my instincts and act from that place." That being said, Paltrow recalled that she was "totally heartbroken when we broke up." "It was the right thing at that time, but it was really hard," she recalled, adding that she still has a warm and fondness for Pitt, 59, as a person. "He's a great guy. He's wonderful, I really like him a lot." Cooper wasn't holding back when it came to grilling Paltrow either, with a game of "Brad of Ben," in which Paltrow was asked to compare her famous exes in a number of categories including, "Who are you more likely to get into an argument with?" and "Who is more romantic?" As well as, "Who is better in bed?" Paltrow dated her Shakespeare in Love co-star Affleck on and off from 1997 to 2000. As it turns out, Paltrow said both Pitt and Affleck were good kissers, and when it came to who was better in bed, the choice was "really hard." "Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind of, at the time, and then Ben was, like, technically excellent," Paltrow said, struggling with the awkwardness of her candor. Cooper also convinced her to play a game of "F**k, Marry, Kill" with her choices being -- as one might guess -- Affleck, Pitt and her real-life ex-husband Chris Martin. When it comes to marrying, Paltrow said unequivocally she'd choose Martin, sweetly adding, "I would do that all again." As for who she'd take to bed one more time, Paltrow said, "I think Brad." Which, obviously, left one more pairing. "Ben, yeah, God bless him," Paltrow said with a laugh. Paltrow was married to Martin from 2003 to 2016. She has since tied the knot with Brad Falchuk in 2018. Affleck married Jennifer Lopez in July 2022, and Pitt has gone on to high-profile marriages with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. https://www.etonline.com/gwyneth-paltrow-compares-sex-with-exes-brad-pitt-and-ben-affleck-203878?fbclid=IwAR20js7dj0Sd4wJEQgyTWGTmH97Arb7ID552cf-zcTrSPmwEsroDGAWrRvs

  10. Drake Bell is at his breaking point with internet trolls calling him a pedophile, saying they're driving him to the point of suicide, and will have "blood on their hands" if things don't stop. Bell's been replying to various Twitter accounts over the last few days -- specifically, those calling him "pedo" and claiming he's a registered sex offender -- and trying to defend himself against the false allegations. Bell tweeted, "Noooo Immmm Nooooooottttt!!!! You people are going to kill me" in reply to someone who called him a sex offender. He responded to another with ... "Nooooo I wasn't!! You people are destroying my life." In another back-and-forth, one fan wrote, "Let’s not forget he’s a pedo" ... but another actually defended Bell by saying, "He's not though." Bell eventually chimed in on that convo with, "Do a second of research The examples are endless, and clearly, something that's had a serious effect on the actor/singer ... especially in the wake of going missing last week, and his wife filing for divorce. As for why the trolls are teeing off on him -- remember, Drake was sentenced to 2 years probation back in 2021 after pleading guilty to one felony charge of attempted endangering children. A woman claimed she and Bell started exchanging sexual messages and photos when she was just 15, and eventually met at one of his shows, where she alleges she performed oral sex on him. Bell did not have to register as a sex offender as a result of that case ... which is why he's so pissed about the repeated tweets accusing him of that. https://www.tmz.com/2023/04/22/drake-bell-suicide-internet-trolls-pedophile-sex-offender/?adid=social-fb&fbclid=IwAR3mEtO7YUpncx-1o_TeZttoKlAtnaZ7ZNKjvo_hAPwKoZioEbmp2u0Du-o
  11. New York CNN — Twitter appears to have quietly rolled back a portion of its hateful conduct policy that included specific protections for transgender people. The policy previously stated that Twitter prohibits “targeting others with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category. This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.” But the second line was removed earlier this month, according to archived versions of the page from the WayBack Machine. Twitter also removed a line from the policy detailing certain groups of people often subject to disproportionate abuse online, including “women, people of color, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual individuals, and marginalized and historically underrepresented communities.” The platform first introduced its policy prohibiting misgendering and deadnaming (referring to a person’s pre-transition name) of transgender people in 2018 as part of a broader overhaul of its hateful conduct policy. The change to the hateful conduct policy is one of a number of updates Twitter has made to its safety and content moderation practices since Elon Musk took over the company last fall. Twitter has also restored the accounts of users who had previously been banned for violating its rules, stopped enforcing its Covid-19 misinformation policy, allowed users to purchase blue verification checkmarks and applied controversial new labels to the accounts of several news organizations. LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD called out the hateful conduct policy change in a Tuesday statement. “Twitter’s decision to covertly roll back its longtime policy is the latest example of just how unsafe the company is for users and advertisers alike,” GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said. “This decision to roll back LGBTQ safety pulls Twitter even more out of step with TikTok, Pinterest, and Meta, which all maintain similar policies to protect their transgender users at a time when anti-transgender rhetoric online is leading to real world discrimination and violence.” Twitter did not respond to a request for comment about the change, although the platform did announce earlier this week some other updates to how it enforces its hateful conduct policy. The platform said it plans to start applying labels to some tweets that violate its hateful conduct policy and reduce their visibility, a similar practice to the one used under the company’s previous leadership, under which it either reduced the visibility of or removed violative tweets. https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/19/tech/twitter-hateful-conduct-policy-transgender-protections/index.html?utm_medium=social&utm_term=link&utm_source=fbCNN&utm_content=2023-04-20T03%3A30%3A14&fbclid=IwAR2NdHR-ZXxUzKMCJPZy4R4NxuxG7NzmakaLscUSnE7pc-hl5tYZLCfmveI

  14. CNN — Timothée Chalamet will not be lip-syncing as he stars in an upcoming film about folk singer and songwriter, Bob Dylan. The film’s director James Mangold tells Collider of Chalamet singing Dylan’s songs, “Of course!” “It’s such an amazing time in American culture and the story of Bob — a young 19-year-old Bob Dylan coming to New York with like two dollars in his pocket and becoming a worldwide sensation within three years,” Mangold told the publication. “It’s such an interesting true story at about such an interesting moment in the American scene, different characters from Woody Guthrie to Bob Dylan, to Pete Seeger to Joan Baez, all have a role to play in this movie,” the director added. The biopic wad announced in 2020 with Chalamet attached. The movie, with the working title “A Complete Unknown,” begins filming in August. Sounds boring.
