Hey. So as we all know, in 2006 Pixar released Cars which was met with mixed reception. The movie's main message is that chasing commerical success just for the sake of it, is a recipe for disaster. Eventually everyone forgets about you. What really matters, are your actions. That is what people will remember when it's all said and done. This movie was a direct criticism of Hollywood, showbiz and the hustle culture of modern times. Ironic, soulful, blunt. Is this the most important movie Pixar has ever produced?

Nintendo has a patent filed for an apparent dual-screen console that can be split in half and become two separate handheld devices. The recent Nintendo patent looks an awful lot like a 3DS, but the device can be split in half. The two separate halves can communicate with each other wirelessly, allowing two gamers to play together on the same device. While connected, the two halves play together like a DS or 3DS. Interestingly enough, there is also a touchscreen on the outside of the console, which allows gamers to interact with the handheld even when it's closed. Also interesting to note, the device appears to be a handheld-only device. x

So of course for 98% of us, anything pre-covid/March 2020 would be considered a significant checkpoint of normalcy. But more specifically, what was your last memory(ies) of life feeling normal to you? I think, for me, three specific time periods come to mind. I remember the earliest memory of everything feeling normal was around 2005, for some reason. It felt like things started to change weirdly (I noticed a slight decline in music to ring-tone raps & T-Pain-esque auto tuned hit songs). And I noticed music becoming slowly more sexualized. Then more recently 2015 also felt normal & like things were beginning to look bright for disenfranchised groups (more LGBT & POC characters in shows - Sense8 & How To Get Away With Murder among the many gems ) before "woke" & "SJW" started being used ironically. And the most recent was December 2019 for me. Covid felt like something that could boil over in China and it was before Kobe Bryant & his daughter passing .

I don’t get the appeal of buying sex at all, and honestly kind of judge people who would buy sex. Although I understand that we need to destigamtize sex workers, I don’t think we should be uncritical of the overall industry, or reasons why people may be buying sex. Have you ever just knew you & a certain individual were done without needing any further blatant signs? i haven't been in a serious relationship yet, but there was a co-worker who I considered a friend.
