This legend right here was all the rage in middle school when we all started asking our parents to buy us phones . If you didn't own one, you were looked down upon basically ( Samsung was the it girl, but the cool girls always had Nokia phones for some reason) But one drawback is that the slider was so fragile and broke frequently, so I ended up probably owning 3 or 4 phones like it.

As the US retreats from a Middle East that has become a competitor to its own shale gas & oil; China has been moving to replace them; I hope the CCP are ready for what comes with dealing with countries like Saudi Arabia & Pakistan…. The One Belt One Riad seems to go thru all the worst place possible in this world…. Pakistani terrorists seem to have found their new “great satan”

I could understand if something happened but I don’t understand when guys are super into you and paying you a lot of attention and then suddenly decide to fall off the face of the earth and start taking days to reply. this keeps happening to me and it’s completely ruined my confidence in dating because literally this guy texted me after our date “you’re so amazing, I can’t wait to see you again” and then just stopped replying. If I have a bad experience or am just not into someone I just won’t reply, why lie? So annoying because there’s a part of me that always blames myself and wonders what I did wrong but I literally didn’t

discussion Could Ron DeSantis beat Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primary?
anti-bitch posted a topic in Civics
DeSantis is the Governor of Florida and he's been pushing ultra-conservative policies in the state lately. It could all be to try and establish him as a household name across the country. A recent Florida poll suggests that he has strong support from independents, while Trump is more popular among registered Republicans. DeSantis is also remarkably younger than Trump, 43, so he could be a factor in American politics for a long time to come. Mind you, I definitely want a Democrat as the president in 2024 again, but we should watch this race because I fear that DeSantis could be more dangerous for human rights than Trump. -

I’ve been using Apple Pay more or less exclusively since the start of the pandemic and it’s made life much easier because I no longer have to remember to take my card with me anywhere. It’s almost too convenient though, because as if digital currency on my card wasn’t easy enough to spend as it was, using Apple Pay feels even less like spending money. It also makes online shopping SO MUCH easier too, because you don’t have to fill in your card details with every purchase, it’s literally just the click of a button. I don’t see many people using it irl though which is surprising since most people have a smart phone and have switched to being cashless anyways and Apple/Google pay just make that even easier.

discussion Should we listen to Central & Eastern Europeans more?
Revolution posted a topic in The Lounge
As you know, Central and Eastern Europeans warned for years about Russia's true nature. But France thought they were Russophobic and Germany continued to buy more and more Russian gas. Should we start listening to the other half of Europe more instead of viewing them as backwards and paranoid? Discuss. -

discussion Philippine elections will be a major trend for other countries
supertiffany posted a topic in Civics
for the long time in Philippine history there will be one candidate that does not come from a political family or showbiz popularity that does not have hidden wealth and questionable assets managed to get an ISO certification and highest government audit gets celebrity endorsements that ranges for $2M for free which is Leni Robredo is close enough to win the president but seems the major frontrunner, the son of the dictator and biggest government robbers Bongbong Marcos might win the world is watching, if Leni Robredo win then other dictators or corrupt might be careful but if Bongbong wins then this might fuel and entice more of the corrupt to utilize brainwashing and historical revisionism through social media trends will your country be affected or are they doing the same tactics the Marcos is doing through social media? the fact that MARCOSES are RICHER than most of the main pop girls combined -
