The film has outperformed expectations with $18 million from 3,152 North American theaters. Building a bigger booty, whether it be naturally or surgically, has typically been a goal for women, but men are increasingly interested in focusing on their glutes. The experts have already noted a rise in men’s interest in their rear ends — and the trend is only expected to grow stronger in 2024. “I’ve definitely noticed a rise in the number of men focusing on glute work in the clubs recently,” Eric Cobb, Group Fitness Manager at Equinox’s E 63rd location, told The Post. “On the workout floor, you used to see men focusing mainly on chest, biceps and abs. Now, squat racks and other glute-focused equipment are seeing a lot more use by them,” Cobb said. He also shared that “classes like Pilates and yoga that traditionally focus on glute work have been increasingly popular.” Equinox even added their own “Best Butt Ever” workout class which Cobb said has been increasingly more popular with men, especially over the last 16 months. “More guys are looking to build the strength and size of their glutes now,” certified strength and conditioning specialist Gareth Sapstead also confirmed to Men’s Health. It’s not just their workouts that are changing, either: men are upgrading their closets to accentuate the gain in their glutes.
