  3. At the Latin Grammy Awards, Pausini took photos with several colleagues, but the photo with Yalitza did not receive good comments. Academy Award nominees Laura Pausini & Yalitza Aparicio pose together for a photo. In said photo with Yalitza, Laura Pausini abused the filters and generated a wave of criticism among web users, who questioned why, apparently, she only edited herself in the darkness at the Mandalay hotel and Casino Bay. Here are the other photos Laura posted on her social media: Source (in Spanish) Source (in Spanish)

  7. It seems to have been announced that Nicki Minaj will release (and likely perform) the official anthem for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar along with Maluma and a singer named Myriam Fares. Considering the human rights controversies surrounding the tournament and the fact that at least 6500 migrant workers have died in the country since Qatar was elected as host in 2010 – how does this collaboration grab you? Personally, although I’m definitely a casual fan of Nicki Minaj, I find this really disappointing. The human rights violations in Qatar are some of the most widely documented and reported on in our time. I’m wondering why she would do this? If she uses this platform to speak up for human rights, it can be argued that it’s a good choice. If not, I think she’s making a big mistake. This is the closest thing to the 1936 Olympics (the nazi Olympics) we’ve had in our age (not that the Sotchi and Beijing Olympics weren’t hugely problematic also) I’m aware others might have a different perspective. Does anyone feel this is no biggie? let’s discuss! and try to keep the whataboutism’s to a minimum
