    OTR2 to gross $250 M

Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s On the Run II Tour tops the Hot Tours list dated Aug. 25 (see below), thanks to the latest batch of earnings reported to Billboard Boxscore for the couple's successful trek. Their placement is fueled by recent engagements in Minneapolis, Detroit, and two sold-out shows for 86,000 fans at Chicago’s Soldier Field, which totaled $21.2 million in grosses. With the addition of these four dates, Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s co-headline trek exceeds $150 million grossed, rising to a total of $150.7 million. Across 29 shows in Europe and the U.S., total attendance has reached 1.4 million. There are 19 dates left to report to Boxscore before the tour closes on Oct. 4 at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field. With another month and a half of dates still ahead for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, their tour is trending toward the $250 million mark. As implied by the tour’s name, it is the sequel to their original 2014 On the Run stint. The 2018 installment has already blown past its predecessor, which brought in $109.6 million.

  12. Drake has peaked at a record 84 of the 100 positions on the Hot 100, having missed only 16 spots so far. Peaking at 84 of the Hot 100's positions surely ranks among Drake's most notable achievements, given that it shows how frequent a Hot 100 visitor he's been, all in under a decade of charting, dating to his May 23, 2009, debut with "Best I Ever Had." The only numbers on the Hot 100 at which Drake hasn't peaked so far? 11, 19, 22, 31, 34, 39, 43, 46, 59, 66, 77, 85, 93, 96, 98 and 99. With each further song he charts, we can see if he can cross off any of those peak ranks. And, Drake's most common peak positions? 1 and 14, where he's peaked with six songs each. Here's a look at Drake's Hot 100 history, ranked by "Peak" position: 1, "What's My Name?," Rihanna feat. Drake / "Work," Rihanna feat. Drake / "One Dance," Drake feat.
