discussion Hospital patient arrested for switching off neighbor’s ‘noisy’ oxygen machine
mercurialworld posted a topic in The Lounge
CNN — A hospital patient has been arrested after she allegedly twice switched off the oxygen equipment on which a fellow patient depended because it was too noisy, German authorities have said. The public prosecutor’s office in the southwest German city of Mannheim obtained a warrant for the 72-year-old woman’s arrest and she was brought before the magistrate and investigating judge of Mannheim Local Court on Wednesday. She was later admitted to a “correctional facility,” the police headquarters and public prosecutor’s office in Mannheim said in a statement. The woman allegedly turned off the main switch of the oxygen equipment some time before 8:00 pm on Tuesday, “after feeling disturbed by the noise emanating from (it),” the statement said. “Although the suspect was informed by hospital staff that the oxygen supply was a vital measure, she allegedly turned off the device again at around 9:00 pm,” it continued. The 79-year-old woman had to be resuscitated and is still receiving intensive medical care. -

I want to buy tickets to Depeche Mode, but a standard floor ticket (not golden circle) is +230$ Nosebleeds with limited view are maybe 150. I've been to many concerts, like Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Rammstein, Guns N Roses and I've never seen prices THIS high for a standard floor ticket. I know there was the whole thing about Taylor Swift and Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing, literally one of the the most anti-consumer thing ever made. What's your opinion on this, would you still buy tickets at those prices?

Hello everyone! I have been working at the bank in the project management department for more than a year. I got a job here as a management administrator, I was actually running errands. If a bad situation happened in the department, then we had to handle it ourselves. The year passed very quickly and a lot of things were done. Relations with colleagues were good. I am not very interested in communicating with them, but I have always maintained a dialogue with them. A few weeks ago, information about the promotion was announced: I turned from an administrator into a manager, leaving 80% of my colleagues behind. Relations cooled sharply, moreover, colleagues began to come regularly with stupid proposals and claims that had never been voiced before. A couple of times I caught colleagues in the dining room, where they guiltily considered me to have gone home (that's why they didn't invite me to eat) and praised my jacket suits. And I also noticed that people are not particularly willing to help me. I am not the boss in relation to them, by the way. I don't understand how to react to such changes and I don't understand their motives.

I find it interesting when someone under 30 has never seen a single Harry Potter movie even if not in full, but most of it.

I got Netflix and Disney plus but i’m working all the time and I rarely use it. I got apple tv plus and prime video/music as well included in my other subscriptions that I never opened. What about yours? I should cancel some of them at the end of this year ?

Here are some of my recommendations, I feel like we could all share some this is Q: into the storm, and its basically keeping up with the kardashians only that it leads to the storming of the US Capitol. Best docuseries I've ever seen, everyone I recommend it to ends up blown away at just how ridiculous it is Free Solo; the shots are amazing, I felt like I was there with him the entire time The Navalny HBO documentary was also pretty good, and probably his last big thing before he got captured and tortured by the Russians 14 peaks nothing is impossible and this one is also good, but I ended up so sad after the last episode,
