What states in the U.S. do you think are often overlooked for how nice they are, or often get overrated for how good they are? My choices for underrated: Maine. Very pretty and vibey. Not that terrible politically (legal weed, not as progressive as I’d like but not really conservative) Colorado: absolutely gorgeous. The people there give off happy vibes. Very good policies. Montana: for a red state, they’re not as terrible as they could be. Stunningly beautiful, legal weed etc. Overrated: Florida. Awful polices. Awful people. Lunatics all over the place. The good basically starts and ends with the weather California: awful traffic. Incredibly overpriced

I don't know if it's just me but I feel like since I've been doing some personal glow ups in my life & putting some care into myself, the thing that I've really started to notice is just how straight up insufferable & LETHAL the vibes I get from random str8 guys are . It's like you're NOT supposed to be out & looking your best while they're strolling hand-in-hand cornishly with their SOs in their contrived and performative walks Have str8 guys always been like this? Am I the only one that senses this? Even guys that are 10s across the board, give this ego-death vibe & jealous, overly territorial vibe that's like nauseating at times. Or is this just how love works in general? I dunno

I feel life is so sad... first of all, we live in a society where theres a lot of hate, homophobia, racism. Then, you have all these addictions that might kill us one day, every day is the same 95% of times because all we do is sleeping, eating, going to work and watching Netflix and then going on dating apps which will make us even more depressed but when you're gay, dating apps is the only solution to find love and all you find is creepy perverts, so you go on shitty dates, thinking you find love finally, it's beautiful for some days and then you got ghosted and reality hit you in the face, and you are even more depressed. You got ghosted after 1 or 2 months of relationship. We work at a job we dont really like, we feel like **** and are never really happy. You regret and feel shame after doing things because you were horny. What is "happinness" ? You try to find God but all you see is that you as a gay person , you "need to change" so you are never accepted. So you have nothing, not charming prince, no money, still your addictions, still your depression, still your bad habbits, feeling emotionally numb and then hoping every new year that your life will change. Nothing change, you just get older and even more depressed. I feel like life is only good is you're a rich white heterosexual person who was lucky enough to have good parents and beauty.

I was returning from a conference driving my company's car when I was about 20mins away from my company where I was supposed to leave the car, some car accident happened right in front of me. It was already dark and the only way to reach the company was by circuling around a hill. I decided to give it a shot, but since it was dark I didnt expect it to be so uphill, at some point the car wouldn't move, so I panicked and I guess I tried too many stuff at once until it worked. I parked it for a second to check Google maps once again, then some guy came up to me and said he saw smoke coming out of the car and asked if everything was ok. Only then I realised I might have ****** something up. I got out of the car and it smelled like something burned. He said since its a good car I shouldnt have any problem driving back to my company. But that worried me, I even started feeling the smell inside the car. So I decided to wait for the police to clear everything out, sat in a cafe thinking after an hour the car would cool off and there would be no smell. However, after 2 hours it was still there. In the end I returned it to the company and now I'm being a bit stressed. My boss is an ******* and he always makes a giant deal out of any minor thing so me reporting the issue wouldn't be a good thing at all, especially since I'm already kinda on bad terms with him. My friend told me a similiar thing happened to him and everything was okay, he still felt the smell after a few days and then it was gone. The thing is, my company has about 6-7 cars the emplyees can use for bussiness trips. I returned it on a Saturday, meaning the earliest somebody could use it is Monday, ~36 hours later. Is it enough time for the car to cool off? Or, is it possible it cools off and once someone else starts the engine it will start to smell again?

all shade aside…everything’s hype dies down eventually noticeably tho these two events were MAJOR moments yearly-but attention has dwindled- ppl forgetting it’s weekend 2 of Coachella for example….- Met Gala getting dragged for their irrelevant guests of the last few years etc etc.. so which is become obsolete more so than the other and becoming a fad?

When you win a fight and prove you're right how come it doesn't feel like winning? It just feels like you wasted some energy and you feel exhausted tbh

So I got my second tattoo of a male angel with wings. I love everything about it, except the right arm has too much shading it gets a bit hard to tell there is right hand over the there apart from the wings. I asked my tattoo artist if I should ignore it or something could be done to fix it a bit, and he advised me to add white ink to it but I have to wait for several weeks for my skin to heal. Fast forward, I got it redone a bit. But I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do Anyone has experience with this? There was very minor bleeding experience during the tattoo redo process, maybe my skin couldn't take it lol. I'm a bit worried I might get keloid or something or I just ruined the tattoo and make it worse The artist told me that it's gonna be okay though so maybe we should just trust him?

Hi all, I’ve had an enjoyable time connecting with many of you, collecting funny gifs, and getting my fill of laughs over the years from reading your posts. I know many of us are strangers behind a screen, but we’ve definitely spent a lot of our lives on here together whether it be from stan wars or striking up conversations from common interests. I wanted to cut to the point with my post because many of us don’t read anything longer than a tweet and have short attention spans, but it’s too hard to leave a short message. You all deserve more than a tweet, so here’s what I want to share from my heart. I am taking a hiatus to be more active in other areas in my life. I need to exert better self control and manage my time better. Before I leave, I want to say a few things. #1 - If I’ve ever offended any of you over the years, please forgive me. It was never my intention. I know words can either be uplifting or hurtful. I have not always been consistent with demonstrating love to many of you in the way that God would want me to. When it comes to Taylor’s music, I know I’ve been prideful with my words. It’s truly silly to idolize and fight over music artists. So, I’m sorry if I ever created tension with any of you over music #2 - If I ever came off too strongly about my faith, please forgive me for that as well. A quick backstory - I haven’t always been a Christian until just a few years ago. I suffered growing up from abuse, living in darkness and isolation, being bullied, struggling with sexual addictions, and so much more. My life since discovering my relationship with Jesus has filled me with so much joy and hope. I am no longer defined by my laundry list of mistakes in the past or how others think of me. I found a love with God that never fluctuates and never disappoints me. I’ve also experienced his tangible presence in my life. When you fall in love with someone, you just have this big desire in your heart to want to share that person with the whole world and that’s what I wanted to do with you. That’s the way I want to be remembered in this world. I hope you all find peace, love, healing, and freedom from anything that’s holding you down, including any lies your thoughts may be accusing you of.
