I was having this heated-up conversation with a friend and we got into quite a debate The way we dissect every aspect of the female artists we stan, their personal life, their looks, their career choices, everything. Is it problematic? And then when talking about the pop girls that are not our favs things get even worse. Shady, snarky, mean-spirited comments and remarks. Are gay male fanbases rooted in misogynistic behaviors? Let's have a respectful, in-depth discussion about this topic.

So I was listening to a podcast recently with a 3-woman panel where they were discussing sexuality. Pretty much all of them animously swore that they would never date men who've been with other men. From what I heard generally from them, they cited health reasons as to why they wouldn't ( PH scales of their puss getting thrown off & they basically can't trust men these days who are unhygienic & stick their peen in any & every orofice known to man (raw with no questions asked). I, myself, kinda get where they're coming from. Apps these days are like 70% guys who want BB. And over the years, MORE dl bi dudes who are married have been joining. Plus, I bet half these guys don't clean their junk after their quick raw & then take that same peen & ride their wives/gf with it. What do you think? Is this a fair opinion? -

My brother did it in July. He sat on the train tracks and the train killed him. Brightline train to be specific. I went back to where it happened and saw blood, his sandals, Credit card, And a his iPhone was completely shredded so don't even wanna imagine what his body looked like. The medical examiner did tell us he was unrecognizable. Lots of trauma on the face. Last year at the end of October he started acting weird, we thought he was on drugs but when an MRI was done it turned out he had a brain tumor. They removed it and 3 days later he had surgery again to place a stent. He recovered but honestly he never really seemed the same after that. At least mentally. He was only 31 years old. -
discussion Dealing with a cancer diagnose for the second time - how to cope?

Hello ATRL, these past couple of weeks have been kind hard on me, a lot of events led up to me getting a diagnose for an illness I sadly can't do anything about. I am not mentally prepared to live with this diagnose and it very much feels like I'm running out of time, truth of the matter is, I am running out of time. the constant thought of death coming at me is very infuriating and traumatizing so I'm just asking for any advice if you've had this experience yourself or know anyone who has gone through multiple cancer diagnoses. I've also decided, that since this is completely out of my hands, not to tell my family because I don't think I'm prepared to tell anyone other than strangers online. it's almost as if I've dissociated from this whole situation and I just want out.- 15 replies

I'd say lifelong learner.... Like it is true but almost everyone has this on their resume/LinkedIn. And lowkey makes you a bit look unprofessional unless you're a fresh graduate. What else/what do you think? Anyway ofc this is just a lighthearted thread. Opinions are just opinions. -
discussion Why are there so many masculine gays into pop culture?

Considering open gays are a minority and largely outnumbered by straight men. Why are there so few masculine straight men into pop culture and so many gay men? Why isn't masculine energy blocking gays from being heavily into pop culture like it does with straight men? And I am not talking about just listening to Rihanna's song. It's almost like gays are genetically engineering to be pop fanatics. Or a better belief is that most gays are inherently feminine (at least compared to the average straight man) but they just adopt some masculine passing mannerisms (like in physical appearance and not having a "gay" voice) and preserve their feminine interests in music and movies because they are harder to change. Do you agree with this? -

I forgot my lunch at home and made a quick stop at McDonald’s before getting to work and when I was ready to pay, the cashier lady said to me, “the lady in front of you already paid for your food”. Honestly, I think Joe Biden have a lot of baggage and is creepy. I wish Democrats would come up with a more reliable, fresh, solid option. But apparently, there are rumors that Queen Kamala might be stepping in. This ain't such a terrible idea, to be honest. In the grand scheme of things, a Democrat will always be better than a Republican.

What key moments in your life made you realize there was NO going back to blissful innocence? I'll say that the first time I probably really hit me was 9/11. Then I'd say when I started middle school & was not feeling the same way other people felt Oh yeah, and Sandy Hook shooting in 2012 pretty much shattered the illusion of "protecting the children" for me. Another recent instance is when I realized how much of a SHAM racial minority "solidarity" is in general. It was never there (for certain groups at least). Now I cope with the microaggresions & cutting death stares daily.. Also Astroworld still sits with me to this day. Really did a number on me how NOBODY cared & now he's still sitting pretty in the Billboard 200 top 3
