  6. Janet Jackson’s classic smash hit Together Again has reached 100M streams on Spotify. Album Version: 92,789,550 Single Version: 7,211,418 = 100,000,968 The single was one of the biggest global hits of the 1990s decade, the song spent multiple weeks at #1 on both the US Hot 100 and European Hot 100. According to Billboard in 1998, it was the most successful single ever released by Janet’s label Virgin Records. The song spent at least 10 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of all of these major markets: US UK France Germany The Netherlands Australia Canada Most of Janet’s peers were never able to achieve this feat with any of their singles. The song finished as the 4th best selling single of 1998 on the Year-End chart in Europe and 6th biggest on the US Hot 100. The song spent 10 weeks at #2 in France and was #7 on the Year-End Chart. It peaked at only #4 in the UK yet it outsold most #1 hits, selling 750,000 physical units. It was the 3rd biggest hit of 1998 in The Netherlands where it also peaked at #1. It was the 6th best selling single of 1998 in Germany for majority of the year (Jan-Sept). And was the 9th best seller of 98 in Australia at the half-year point.
