He's a close friend. I asked him to hang out this evening to go to a concrete place in the city. He told me no because he's going with other friends to the same place the same evening (but he's free to hang out tomorrow if I want). If I was in the reverse situation I would have told him to join my other friends and go together. I feel hurt and it's not the first time he acts this way. Am I allowed to complain about this to him?

I know some of y'all can't be serious for 5 seconds but I'm just venting because it's 5am and I can't sleep I've had pretty bad anxiety due to stress at my job/internship (I will be quitting but I can't until my employment-based internship is done) lately. My issue is I wake up almost every night around 3am (I've always been this way, this is nothing new). And the moment I awake- BOOM! Anxious thoughts enter my brain and I can't shut them off and then I can't fall back asleep. I do have an anxiety disorder and am medicated but every time this happens where I go day after day with only about 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night, the anxiety only perpetuates itself because now I'm having anxiety that I'm gonna die early due to lack of sleep or I'm gonna get under eye bags and age like **** because the amount of sleep I get is so low right now. If any of you have experienced anxiety around sleep, what have you done to calm yourself down? If I could just feel like me getting a lack of sleep isn't the end of the world, I do think, ironically, that would allow me to sleep better. I'm so over this **** :)))))

I'm currently at the airport getting ready to depart for Cabo. I'll be visiting the beach and staying at a 5 star hotel. I'm in the west coast, the weather has not been nice, I have a bad sunburn! For my trips I usually pack some snacks, a few wigs, personal care items, and my lucky Rae Dunn mug. Earlier tonight I was looking at a few menus from several restaurants and I have my eyes set on some vegan beans + organic coconut water. I don't plan on eating on my flight, so it'll be a little while before I get to. I'll be visiting Cabo with my best friend + her mom. I'm very excited! My plane starts boarding in about 40-ish minutes. I'll have WiFi on the flight so I'm good. I don't mean to sound TMI but I kinda have to be careful with how many plushies I pack in my bag, I'm notorious for taking 10+ of them. My favorite one is an alien plush that I named Ricky Spanish. I put jewelry on him sometimes, and the occasional wig. By the way, how much do good quality wigs usually cost? The ones I own are around $150 but I'd like to get some better ones, specifically a ginger one, I've always been drawn to that color. I might even try their peach slush at the airport before I leave, I saw it last time and missed out. As someone with a degree in Marine Biology, their restaurants here aren't that good, a Whopper meal costed me $20.. where do you like to travel?

The "angels" are returning to the runway. Victoria's Secret said Wednesday that its once-celebrated fashion show will return after the retailer canceled it in 2019 due to poor ratings and a slew of controversies. The lingerie brand, which was founded in 1977, was the subject of a 2020 New York Times investigation that detailed an alleged culture of misogyny at the company. A spokesperson for L Brands, the former parent company of Victoria's Secret, told the publication at the time that it's "'intensely focused' on corporate governance, workplace and compliance practices and that it had 'made significant strides.'" Victoria's Secret has also faced criticism for its lack of inclusivity. In November 2018, Ed Razek, then-chief marketing officer for L Brands, came under fire for saying that he did not think the brand should include "transsexuals" in its runway show. The company split from L Brands in 2021 and has since made efforts to revamp its approach and become relevant to women again. It overhauled its image and incorporated more diverse, body-positive models in its campaigns, including the launch of a revamped, partially revived filmed version of a fashion show for Prime Video in 2023. Hello fellow atrlers, I recently switched from Spotify to Apple Music, and so far loving it. There is one thing I am currently having probems with and it is thanks to one of the reasons I love the most about AM: being able to edit a song tags. Back when I used Spotify whenever a new album came out I would "unlike" the single version and add the album one, as to have all the songs from the same album under the same album name tag. Never loved this workaround as I sometimes play my songs sorted by recently added. Now with AM, if an album comes out and I have one or several singles already saved I can just edit the info and the artwork and that way the song stays with its original add ate and with the play count. Or at least I thought so... last Friday a new album came out and I already had two singles in my library. I changed the artwork (by copying it from one of the pre-add tracks) and the album name and added the new tracks I liked. Sure all the tracks appear under the album in macOS and iOS but in iOS, if I click on the "Show Complete Album" option, it redirects to the first single and not the album. I could live with that "bug" or whatever we wanna call it, but now they updated the artwork with an animated one and if I play any of the tracks, I don't get the animated version. I renamed the album tag in the two singles (back to Name - Single) and played the songs directly added from the album and they play using the animated artwork. I tried renaming the singles (back to album name) and once again, Show Complete Album redirects to the single and the songs play with the plain artwork. Do you have any tips on how to "merge" a single back into an album? I don't want to delete de Single and andd the album version as that would mean losing the play count...

After a LONG break from doing anything fitness related I'm back using the app more. It can track your walks , runs , bike rides and more. I was recently invited to an influencer brunch by one of my good friends, it was in downtown la. I arrived 30 mins early, around 5:30 pm or so, it was at a bar and grill I believe. When I went in they had someone serving drinks and I tried a Bloody Mary for the first time ever, it was alright, but I was expecting a little more. My friend told me that I should expect around 40 influencers or so, I was a little nervous, because I'm just starting out in the influencer scene. It was sort of intimidating. A few minutes later a few women arrived, I believe one of them gave me a dirty look, I wanted to go up to them and ask them to have some manners and respect for me. My friend said it's not worth it. Mind you there was loud music playing, so it made sense to just let it go. I'm mentally crippled so I'm not good at managing my emotions. Around 30 minutes later the bar was full, overwhelmingly full, I don't do well in crowded spaces. At one point I posed for a picture with a few girls, and it was embarrassing because my wig was practically falling out. I had makeup caked on, it was all bad. As someone with a degree in Makeup & Beauty, I knew I could do better but I was in a rush, it was very last-minute. For the brunch I had chicken fingers, unsalted French fries, and a Diet Coke. I don't do well with sugar. After about 2 hours everyone started leaving, we exchanged our @'s and whatnot. I feel like this scene was made for me, although it can be a bit intimidating. I would 100% go to an influencer brunch again, that is if my wig is willing to cooperate next time!

Do you have manners and respect for me? And do you think more people should open up and widen their eyes to more manners? As someone with a degree in Psychology I have noticed a lack of manners and decency in the people today.
