Deadpool 3 & Spider-Man is now reported by the scooper community to pivot into more Mutant and Street level storytelling. Latest reports detail Tom Holland Spidey 4 to be a Street level Civil war film. X-Men solo film and several Mutant projects are currently in talks, with a Scarlet Witch film to be the first official Mutant film These are all rumors and speculation of course, but use this thread to talk about the New plans for Phase 5 & 6 following Majors Departure as Kang. (Or Mods can just merge this into the MCU thread) -

This is a really strange topic but it’s been on my mind lately. You have a group of people who complain about gay men only caring about hookups / masculinity, that everyone’s shallow and won’t give them a chance, etc. They echo sentiments of any other incel community, but they have a pretty unique circumstance which allows them to date each other and solve the problem. Why do they not just date each other? I’m imagining 40 single gay men sitting in a room together like “damn, if only we could find someone to date.”

Do you know any gay/bi guys like this (that you were with before, briefly or a relationship), but they now have a wife & kids & distance themselves from the gay/bi label? I don't know any dudes like this, but that won't stop my suspensions tbh

Placenta spaghetti, anyone? Be it encapsulated, blended in a smoothie, or even roasted with vegetables, there are many ways that a person can choose to consume placenta after childbirth. With this vital pregnancy organ gaining traction as a “superfood,” more & more people are open to the idea. The practice of eating placenta, or “placentophagy,” is common in the animal kingdom. Literature suggests that animals eat their placenta as a way of regaining nutrients that might have been lost during delivery, and to encourage mother-child bonding. It is the latter hypotheses that have made placentophagy attractive to human mothers, and with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and January Jones advocating the practice, it is more popular than ever. Research has shown that the placenta contains a variety of nutrients — such as fiber, protein, and potassium — as well as hormones including estradiol and testosterone. What is more, there is an abundance of mothers across the globe who claim that eating it helped to improve their postnatal health by improving milk production, mood and energy. Would you like to try it?

discussion Struggling to remain closeted at workplace/blending in.
Before Today posted a topic in The Lounge
Hey guys so it's a bit personal than the usual pop threads. But I live in a conservative country and it's challenging for me to exist as a closeted gay man in the office since our culture is quite collectivist so the invasive questions like what's your religion (yes), do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend as a small talk will inevitably happen. And it did happen in my previous workplace, I didn't give specific answers but I did answer just to be polite you know? And turns out they somehow collected all the hints and hunted down my partner's socials and made it a group talk behind me, which is very rude/invasive of my personal space. I know it's my fault for giving them what they want (although I thought I was being general enough with my answers). Any tips on how to survive the office? If I remain distant and not engage with my coworkers that much, it'll also be a problem because they're gonna think I'm aloof or it doesn't create a "collaborative" feel. I don't know about gays who live in an accepting country, but it's SO frustrating to keep one huge part of your life and not wanting to be judged for it but also you have to interact with people. It feels alienating too and you have to be on 'alert' all the time about not "oversharing" that might lead them to think you're different. If there's a straight pill let me know! All the straight people making our lives harder than it actually is making me want to prescribe one -
discussion Does "Let love find you" only work for straight couples?
Josh posted a topic in The Lounge
I've always been told don't go looking for love let it find you but when you live in a Rural republican state kinda hard do so. With gay men you first have to first see if he's even gay and out of the closet. at least with straight people they can find their significant other just walking into a Starbucks -

discussion Unpopular gay opinions/Talks gays aren’t ready to have?
BLΔCKP!NK posted a topic in The Lounge
Be respectful. If it gets too explicit or messy, I’ll ask them to move this to The Roof Gay men are just as misogynistic as straight men and are just as blatant. Just because you hide behind pop girl avis, successes, pretend to hate male music and like dick too doesn’t mean you’re exempt from displaying and benefiting off of misogyny. The “Regina George” gay, is absolutely insufferable. It’s even worse when you’re over the age of 30. Being gay doesn’t have to determine your interest. One recent example is when the GTA VI trailer came out and I saw several RuPaul gays asking “sInCe wHen DiD gAy pEoPle cAre AbOuT gTA” and almost mocking them for doing so. Gay men can have other interests like sports, video games, or whatever outside of other stereotypical activities without it being an attempt to appear “different” or a pick me. Deflecting by saying “well straight people do it too!!!” to justify weird and gross behavior doesn’t make your behavior and less weird or gross. you’re nasty and they’re nasty too. Asking who’s the top and who's the bottom or just overall forcing heteronormativity on relationships where you don’t see an overly masculine men is weird and the fact that gay men can’t wrap their heads around this is just yes, “traditional” top/bottom couples exists with a masculine and feminine partner, but that’s not the standard. masculine men can be bottoms, feminine tops exist, people can be vers, sides exist and gay men can asexual. not everything is black and white- 113 replies

discussion Tragic major news events that STILL haunt you to this day?
BrentB posted a topic in The Lounge
What are some major tragic news events that still STAY on your mind to this day? Lately, 9/11 has been reigniting interest to me. I don't know why but there's so much nuance about that day that's I'm fascinated by. This youtuber is partly to blame for this Also, I recently revisited the Grenfell towers news story (came on my YouTube algorithm). The level of incompetence that lead to all those 70+ deaths in is mind-numbing The surfside collapse in 2021 is also another building disaster that STILL strikes a chord in me. I remember following the story in 2021, hoping ffor news of survivers. Instead, every day the death toll rose Of course, anyone that's seen me post on here know that Astroworld never left me to this day. And the fact that nobody on earth gives a **** afterwards (per Tyla Water Remix ) And March - June 2020 in general still stays with me (as it does 70% of people I imagine tbh). -

You can't buy anything with them. You can't use them in most machines. They cost more to produce than they're worth (probably, idk). Nobody picks them off the floor. Seriously, why do we keep using these little spawns of Satan? -
