  1. An official press release about the forthcoming documentary says the film will explore “the journey of a trailblazing superstar who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself. The HBO Max documentary shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom.” Lizzo shared in a press statement, “Growing up I never dreamed I’d get to experience all of the things I’ve accomplished in my life, and I’m just getting started. I’m so excited I get to share and relive my journey with my fans and HBO Max. From Cuz I Love You to my dramatic world tour, losing and gaining love, and creating my new album Special, y’all get to see the amount of time, patience, blood, sweat and tears that went into this process. It takes 10 years to become an ‘overnight success,’ and hopefully I can inspire other young creatives to keep going.” Perched, this will be interesting. Fresh from winning an Emmy last month!
  2. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt12530246/ A runaway slave forges through the swamps of Louisiana on a tortuous journey to escape plantation owners that nearly killed him. Wow the movie looks amazingly made and tbh will looks like hes giving his best performance (i finally see him as the character and not another version of himself). But im not sure he will get any noms based on the oscar slap which is unfortunate

  7. So we all know how Jenna Ortega has become the new Netflix It Girl following her smash hit series Wednesday. I couldn’t help but think about the previous It Girl Anya Taylor Joy. Despite connecting well with audiences post Queens Gambit she’s failed to truly establish herself with consumers. She’s had flop after flop after flop. The last night in soho, The Northman, Amsterdam, maybe even her new film The Menu… she is clearly not a star. The only smart post QG move she made was sign up for tons of projects fresh off the hype. I doubt she’d have got these high profile projects now with her terrible box office run. and before we say ATJ is fine, sure she is, but even ATRLs fave Grace calls out the Dior muse’s floppage in her recent movie math TWICE - 09:11 and 16:47. why did Anya fail to connect? what can Jenna and future actress who smash on streaming do to avoid ATJs disappointing post-QG career? and how do you think ATJ will turn her career around… if she even can? 10. The queen of "feel good movies" Nancy Meyers, (The Parent Trap, Something's Gotta Give, Father of the Bride) announced earlier this year she'd be making her long-awaited directing return with a Netflix movie after a long hiatus. In an interview with TODAY discussing the legacy of another of her classic films, The Holiday, the filmmaker finally provided an update on the project to Savannah Sellers, revealing that "she wrote it during Covid, it's a movie about making a movie, and like The Holiday, it also has 5 lead actors and [she] promises it's really, really funny." Yesterday, Vogue Magazine also published an article about the iconic interiors featured in her movies:
  11. HIT Christmas rom-com The Holiday is to get a sequel with its original lead quartet of stars — 17 years on. The new movie is expected to revisit the relationships that spring up between Cameron Diaz, 50, and Jude Law, 49 and, Kate Winslet, 47, Jack Black, 53. Its 2006 predecessor saw Brit Winslet swap her home, with American Diaz’s for Christmas. Both find love in each other’s world. A source said: “The plan is to start filming next year. "The main talent are all signed up.” A film source added: “The plan is to start rolling on scenes next year, primarily in the U.K. and in Europe, but the main talent are all signed up and on board.
  12. The forthcoming queer rom-com was written by Joel Kim Booster and stars the comic along with Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, Conrad Ricamora, Torian Miller, Tomás Matos, and Margaret Cho. According to the film’s official synopsis, Fire Island is “an unapologetic, modern-day rom-com inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The story centers around two best friends who set out to have a legendary week-long summer vacation with the help of cheap rosé and a cadre of eclectic friends.” Perched, this is 1000% up my alley The cast alone Nice to see Conrad Ricamora from How To Get Away With Murder in this too!
