I kinda wish people would realize the hard truth that....it's likely that you're going to encounter Trump supporters in your life, and you're going to find yourself in circles with people who support him (especially in athletics). Taylor and Brittany became friendly over a year ago through going to these games to watch their partners who are teammates. They're at a game. Sometimes, it's easier to just be cordial and friendly rather than shun someone in public (and I'm quite sure a lot of people having dramatic reactions to something like this would not have those same reactions in their own public lives). I'd get some of the reactions if she was hanging out with like, Ivanka Trump or Candace Owens. But this is not quite that. We know where Taylor (and Travis) stand.

I really don't understand her. I've always said that as much as I love her as an artist, I just can't get into her as a person, and I stand by that. When she tries to show concern about anything outside her bubble it never comes off as genuine because you can tell her heart is simply not in it, she really does not care about anything that doesn't affect her, and it's sad. I mean, on one hand it's the standard approach of a privileged famous person, what baffles me is that the person she portrays in her music seems distant (a lot more sensitive) from this one we see everyday.

again, I'm not surprised again, I'm gonna reiterate some things: I'm someone who grew up in a reform yet quite religious jewish household. the kind of judaism I grew up with included a LOT of z*onist brainwashing (I KNOW how that sounds, but again, this is my experience so please take into account what I'm saying with my full chest lol) in synagogue and religious school settings. I was in sunday school from the age of 8, and hebrew school from the age of 11 all the way to my bar mitzvah, and then sunday school became confirmation until like junior year of high school I think? regardless, all of these classes I took, all of the synagogue choir rehearsals I was attending, all of the years of jewish socialist summer camp I went to... all of it had a STRONG z*onist element. and it's unfortunate but, yes, a LOT of f*cking american jews are brainwashed into thinking that z*onism is the way to go. it's really depressing because even though I'm NOT religious anymore, I DO love a lot of things about judaism/jewish culture. what I DON'T love is how a lot of people equate judaism with z*onism. it f*cking isn't. I have 0 connection with a colonized place that I (cluelessly) once visited when I was 16. NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER. and I wish more jewish people, regardless of how religious they actually are, would understand that z*onism is horribly f*cked up. your judaism can be 100% legit without being a z*onist, and I believe that judaism at its core is in fact about freedom and being progressive. that's at least what I gleaned from my jewish childhood, in retrospect. my mom is a z*onist, and unfortunately it's too late for her to really LISTEN to me and one of my older brothers when we talk to her about how f*cked up z*onism is. she's stuck in her ways. it makes me so sad sometimes but anyway, P!nk, shame on you. free Palestine.
