Grace Randolph says that she heard that they filmed multiple death scenes for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to prevent leaks and even the cast doesn't know which scenes will be used. She also said not to worry about Rocket and he could end up leading the Guardians by the end of the movie.
