G-Eazy's #s are quite good, the perks of being hot and your girlfriend being Halsey.

YOUR SHADY NEW RELEASES

The long-awaited new set from Eminem leads the week's pack of new releases; here's how things look based on early reads.

Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 280-300k SPS, 190-210k sales
G-Eazy (BPG/Revels Group/RCA) 135-155k, 85-95k
Jeezy (Def Jam) 55-65k, 35-40k
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Walt Disney) 38-44k, 36-40k
N.E.R.D. (N.E.R.D./Columbia) 16-21k, 9-12k

Stay tuned for updates.

Is there any predictions for Rep?

:ahh: she can choke with those mixtapes she's been releasing. Also she has yet to top Sucker.

Still great number

You all are so dramatic

Suddenly you all become Adele's fans when it comes to number

Like less than 1 million is a flop

(Well Taylor also debuted with 1,2 million and some of you called her underperforming)

Dont forget he doesnt use any tour bundle or surprise release gimmick

Shame on you all

:rip:

He's underperforming regardless of how yall spun it.

Numbers are not great but when you consider his long career, his age and the current climate it makes some sense. He has diamond albums and achieved more than any other rapper in history saleswise. On a global level no other rappers come anywhere close to his impact.  Nothing lasts forever and you just have to accept he is now on that downward spiral. And his numbers are still competing with todays rappers so its only by his own legendary standards that they look poor.

it what he deserves

he didn't reinvented himself, he sticks to his formula which isn't working this time

and kendrick is eating him up in every possible way

That’s to be expected tho... You do realize that you are comparing a rapper currently at his peak to a rapper that peaked 15-17 years ago?

Can you name a big artist who released this year whose number doesnt decrease from their previous release?

It’s actually not as bad as y’all are making it out to be for Em. His last was 4 years ago, sales climate has changed and remember his single was just only released not too long ago.

That's even less than the second week of Views by Drake... :jonny5:

Not to mention that a PLAYLIST, titled More Life doubled Revival numbers in its first week. :eli:

Ar you actually serious with this question or trolling? Literally do a 5 sec search on wiki to see if he's an album seller :foot:

I'm not interested in untalented white rappers that shout in their tracks

This is sudden but not drag worthy. Everyone has an expiry date and he's a 40+ selling selling more than everyone not Taylor/Ed/Adele/Beyonce and Kendrick.

Drake does 300k with playlists and mixtapes...but Em is older and he has no hit this time around so what did folks expect? 300k is respectable.

Why is it so funny for some of you to see an artist underperforming? :ace:

Eminim is 40 years old, has been in the business for over 20 years, has diamond albums and is selling 300k sps today. I wish that i had that kind of a career :clap3:

1- Eminem is 45 years old. Y’all can’t drag artists with established legacies the way you drag everyone else. They’re at a different standard.

2- Y’all need to stop saying “Trump ended [insert artist] they should have never gotten political,” as if the artists didn’t understand the risk they were taking when they spoke out. At a certain point, a super rich artist can simply make music that says what they want, rather than hide their opinions because fans may not like it.

3. These numbers aren’t bad at all in this market, especially since the material isn’t his best.

Thanks for the bolded. If every artist adopted Taylor’s approach then sales would continue to decline anyway only with no dignity to look back upon.

The tea is burning my throat :jonny:

Taylor still has time to though, she's young...
