Kevin2803 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 (edited) K.D.S. Year-End Countdown The year is almost over and that's my favorite time of the year. Because of christmas? Hell no - it's because i can create my year-end charts and the people, who follow my Top 40 Countdown, know that they will be amazing. Tomorrow i will start to reveal my "Top 50 Artists", "Top 100 Albums" and "Top 100 Singles" of the Year. I will reveal five artists and ten songs and albums per day. So the number 1's will be revealed on the last day of christmas. There are also three special categories. At the end, i will reveal the Top 10 "Album Songs of 2017", "Singles not released in 2017" and "Albums not released in 2017". There will also be a Top 100 Singles Countdown Video and a Spotify Playlist. In the beginning of 2018, my Crownnote Year-End charts will be released and they will be kinda different from the official countdown, so you can be excited for them as well. Every song and album released between December 1st, 2016 and November 30, 2017 are eligible for the year-end charts. Official Remixes, Live Versions and Acoustic Versions count all towards the original song. It's also possible that a 2016 song or album will be on the 2017 year-end chart (again), if a official remix, live version, acoustic version, music video, remix ep or a new special edition of an album was released in that period of time. Are you ...ready for it? Edited December 29, 2017 by Kevin2803
Kevin2803 Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Welcome to my K.D.S. Year-End Countdown 2017! Artists 50. Foxes Last year, she released her sophmore album "All I Need" which scored her a top 10 position on the artist charts, an top 5 album and a top 30 single on the year-end charts. But with no new single or album this year, it was expected that she would fall hard. It's still impressive that she made the list tho. Without new music, most artists don't make it. 49. Carly Rae Jepsen We are still waiting for a follow-up to the 2015 masterpiece "Emotion" and it seems like we will see it next year. This year, she falls hard from her previous #14 position. But with barely new music, except the infectious pop song "Cut to the Feeling", there wasn't much to listen to. But i'm sure she will rise again next year. 48. No Angels Well, maybe i spoke too soon. You don't even have to make music anymore to make the list. The german girlband No Angels make their debut on the year-end charts, even tho their last release was eight years ago. But i started to listen to their amazing discography again this year and here they are. 47. Yellow Claw This dutch DJ Duo was a pleasant surprise this year. They released their second album "Los Amsterdam" which had some great collaborations on it. Cheryl and Veronica also had a dance-off to their song "DJ Turn It Up" on "Riverdale" which catapulted them in the top 5 of my most-streamed artists and songs on Spotify, this year. 46. Maria Voskania Maria finished third on this year's season of "German Idol" and released her album a couple months after that. Usually, i'm not a big fan of Schlager, but her music goes more in the german pop direction and her single "Ich seh nur dich" (I Only See You) made me sing along for days. Her album "Magie" (Magic) had also some heavenly bops, like her new single "Küss Mich" (Kiss Me), which already debuted in my top 30. Albums 100. Lena - Crystal Sky Technically, it's a 2015 album, but because of "Sing meinen Song" (Sing my Song) she released a new version of it in 2017 and here it is again. This album made me STAN her and i wasn't even a fan of her before. I didn't even really like her. But this album is just amazing and would probably made the list every year without the chart rules. Production wise it's on a international level. That's how good it is. 99. JP Cooper — Raised Under Grey Skies To be honest, i didn't even listen to this album that often. Mostly "September Song", which was a bop, but i still remember that they were also some other good songs. Maybe i should give it another listen. He has a great voice. 98. Nashville Cast - The Music of Nashville Original Soundtrack Season 5, Vol. 2 Like "Glee", the Cast of "Nashville" also appear regulary on my charts. This season had some great music again. Especially Maddie slayed me, even tho her character is annoying sometimes. "Saved" was THAT Bop and should smash everywhere. 97. Riverdale Cast - Riverdale: Original Television Soundtrack (Season 1) With "Nashville" ending next year, maybe "Riverdale" will take it's spot on my charts. "Milkshake" and "Mad World" already smashed into my top 5 this year and the Season 1 Soundtrack also peaked at #5 on my album top 10. It has some cute songs from Josie and the Pussycats, but overall, Season 2 seems to better musically. 96. Amir - Addictions One of my favorites of the 2016 "Eurovision Song Contest" released his new album this year, which had some cute french songs on it. It debuted on #4 on my weekly top 10, but only stayed there for one week. The lead single "États d'Amour" peaked at #37. 95. Machine Gun Kelly - Bloom To be honest, i'm not a big fan of Hip-Hop, but there are some artists i like. Like Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, G-Eazy or Machine Gun Kelly. His album debuted at #3, but already left the charts after one week. The singles "Bad Things" and "At My Best" peaked at #6 and #28, but let's be real - they probably wouldn't have chart without Camila and Hailee. 94. Katharine McPhee - I Fall In Love Too Easily I was never a big fan of Jazz, but Katharine's voice made me one. This girl can sing anything and always sounds fantastic. I liked "Hysteria" obviously more, but this is a nice, little album for the winter time. And the title track is pure joy. 93. Austin Mahone - ForMe+You It's one (out of three) albums, that made the year-end charts, without even charting on the weekly top 10. I like Austin and his music, atleast some songs, but i don't even remember a song from this Mixtape. Except for "Lady", which is a Bop. And i just checked the Tracklist and saw that "Except For Us" was on here, too. How could i miss this? I'm bopping to this song the last couple of weeks. 92. Paloma Faith - The Architect I was a little bit disappointed by "Crybaby", but "Guilty" made me excited for the album and there were some other great tracks on it. It debuted on #3 on my weekly chart, but was out the next week. But i think it will probably return at some point. 91. Colton Dixon - Identity "American Idol" alum Colton Dixon released his fourth album this year and it's the first one since his debut that made the year-end list. It's also his most memorable album since "A Messenger" and "All That Matters" was a cute, little lead-single. Singles 100. Beatz - Ain't Your Girl You probably never heard of them before. Atleast i didn't, before the song came out. Apparently, Beatz were on some X Factor season in Australia and well, they had undeniable some good singers on this show *cough*Samantha Jade*cough*. So i decided to check this song out and it grew on me more and more. I wasn't a big fan of the rap part in the beginning, but the singing part is great and the beat is SICK. It climbed all the way up to #6 and spent six weeks in my top 40. 99. Anne-Marie - Ciao Adios It's kinda funny. I always saw her name in the german charts, when she slayed with "Alarm", but i never heard of her and thought she was some random national act, so i didn't bother to check her out at first. But some day i heard her songs and i liked them, but i never really got into them, until she released the Jillionare Remix to "Ciao Adios". This one is a BOP and i mostly listen to this version. She peaked at #4 and spend seven weeks in my charts. "Then" could top that tho, so maybe we will see her again next year. 98. Fergie - Tension Fergie really surprised me with "Double Dutchess", because i didn't expect to like it that much. I barely used "The Dutchess", so why would i bop to the follow-up eleven years later? But damn, was i wrong. Especially "Tension" scalped me and i will never forgive this bitch for releasing not one, but TWO awful music videos for this heavenly smash. It deserves so much more. Get it together, Fergie. It climbed all the way up to #2 and spend six weeks in the charts. 97. Jason Derülo, Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign - Swalla It's kinda surprising that this song made it, because it only spend two weeks on the charts, peaking at #7. I also didn't like it in the beginning, but it grew on me a lot. I shaked my ass to it here and then, which apparently wasn't enough to get it on the weekly charts for more weeks, but atleast the song made the year-end charts. 96. Helene Fischer - Achterbahn People love her or they hate her, but Helene Fischer is undeniably the most successful singer in Germany. She's basically the german Taylor Swift. Her recent album "Helene Fischer" is the first one i've heard from start to finish and it wasn't bad. There are quite a few good tracks on it. One of them is her new single "Achterbahn" (Rollercoaster), which spend four weeks in my charts and peaked on #3. 95. Wincent Weiss - Feuerwerk What is not to love about Wincent? He seems so nice, is insanely handsome and also has a nice voice. I wasn't a really big fan of his song "Musik sein" (Be Music), but his second single "Feuerwerk" (Firework) made me a fan. The song captures the feeling of being free and happy perfectly and always lightens up the mood. It peaked at #2, but only spend four weeks in the Top 40. 94. Noah Cyrus & Labrinth - Make Me (Cry) I didn't pay much attention to this song when it was released in 2016, but damn, i definitely paid attention to the 2017 Marshmello remix. The drop is glorious and it also made me appreciate the original more and Noah as a singer in general. It spent five weeks on the charts, but "only" peaked at #13. 93. Astrid S - Such a Boy It was a good year for Astrid S, who released one bop after another. "Such a Boy", her gender-switching take on a complicated relationship, climbed all the way up to #2 and stayed on the charts for five weeks. 92. Maroon 5 & Future - Cold I honestly forgot that this was released in 2017 until i saw it on my year-end list, but it definitely deserves to be here. It's an infectious party song that always gets me in the right mood. This song also peaked at #2, but spend six weeks in the top 40. 91. Ella Eyre & Ty Dolla $ign - Ego I really liked her debut album, which spawned some great singles and i was excited for new music. "Ego" is a really nice comeback single, that gets stuck in your head. Sadly, it didn't appeal much to the GP, but it spend seven weeks in my charts and peaked on #15. Edited December 17, 2017 by Kevin2803
Pedro Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 "Ciao Adios" is a freaking bop! Love Fergie's song!
Mr. Adele Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Perched sis Just now, Kevin2803 said: 92. Maroon 5 & Future - Cold I loewkey love this song but tbh forgot it existed
-Rockstar101- Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Lena, Wincent, Maroon 5, Fergie, Riverdale and Jason I hope you're not using the same list as the one you posted on FB.
grandewhispers Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Austin's album is really good, I'm glad it got to be in your list!
Kevin2803 Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 (edited) Artists 45. Betty Who It's the first year for Betty on my year-end list. She released a surprisingly good pop album with "The Valley", which peaked at #2 on the weekly top 10. "Some Kinda Wonderful" and "Mama Say" were some great Bops and i hope to hear more from her in the future. 44. P!nk After five years, P!nk returns to this list after releasing her new album "Beautiful Trauma", which spawned two Top 20 singles on my Top 40 Countdown. Sadly, she is ten places down from her previous position #34 in 2012. But that could change, if she continues to release another great album like this. 43. Becky G It was a good year for Becky who even surpassed Taylor with her massive latin hit "Mayores". On my list, she is down from her #36 position last year. "Todo Cambio" was cute and "Mayores" a banger, but they weren't a new "Sola" - her best spanish song to date. 42. Hey Violet It's also the first time for Hey Violet on this list. This cute pop-rock band released their first album this year and it was really good. "Break my Heart" was cute, but it was "Hoodie" that snatched my wig off. This amazing pop song spend ten week in my charts and the album also peaked at #2. I expect much more Bops from them in the future. 41. Louisa Johnson The winner of X Factor already made my singles list in 2016 with her winner song "Forever Young", but it's her first time on the Artist charts. And that regardless of the fact, that she only released one single this year. But damn, "Best Behaviour" was a massive single. It's just sad that the GP didn't see that. I'm still waiting for an album. Albums 90. Allie X - CollXtion II: Unsolved "CollXtion II: Unsolved" had some cute songs on it, but it didn't prepare me of the slayage that is the real "CollXtion II". This album peaked at #10 and only stayed there for one week. Fun fact: I didn't like "Casanova" on this album, but i love the real album version. 89. Madonna - Rebel Heart Tour (Live) Madonna is undeniably a great live performer and it's nice to hear live versions of some of her greatest songs, like "La Isla Bonita". The album debuted at #3 on my weekly countdown, but was already out the next week. 88. Dev - I Only See You When I'm Dreamin' Fans had to wait six years for another album of Dev, but "All I Wanna Do" alone was worth the wait. The album peaked within the top 3 and spend a single week on the Top 10 and the single "All I Wanna Do" reached #34 on the Top 40 Countdown. 87. Dia Frampton - Bruises Dia was the first contestant of the The Voice US i liked and "The Broken Ones" is still one of my favorite songs from an artist of this show. This year, she released another album. It hasn't another "The Broken Ones" on it, but "Gold and Silver" and "Crave" were still some really great songs. "Bruises" missed the top 5 and peaked at #6, where it stayed for one week. 86. Christina Grimmie - All is Vanity I get still sad, when i think about what happened to her. It was the first celebrity death that really hit me hard, especially because it was just so senseless. Sadly, her first post mortem album wasn't that good. I liked a few songs and her voice was always amazing, but it doesn't compare to her EPs and first album. Otherwise, it would be much higher on this list. It peaked at #8 for one week. 85. Tinie Tempah - Youth Another rapper on my list, but of course it's mostly because of the collaborations. "Girls Like" with Zara Larsson was THAT bop in 2016 and "Text From Your Ex" with Tinashe was also kinda cute. But i don't remember any of his solo songs. It still managed to peak at #4 and stayed on the charts for one week. 84. Poppy - Poppy.Computer I love Poppy's personality, but i wish she wouldn't have changed her music style that much. "Interweb" was cute, but i still prefer songs like "Lowlife" and "Money". If this album had songs like this, it would've been much higher on this list. "Poppy.Computer" debuted within the top 3 regardless, but only stayed there for one week. 83. Nelly Furtado - The Ride I'm kinda sad that she flopped that hard, but what can i say? This album is no "Loose", it's not even a "Spirit Indestructible". Besides "Phoenix", there is not one song that managed to get stuck in my head. It also only peaked at #7 for one week. 82. Austin Mahone - Dirty Work - The Album Austin Mahone made the list again with his latest album "Dirty Work". I really like the title song and also "Lady" and "Except For Us" (which is almost like a little duet with Tinashe), like you already know. The album still missed the top 5 and peaked at #6. 81. Jessica Mauboy - The Secret Daughter: Songs from the Original TV Series Technically, this is a 2016 album, but there was a secret edition released this year. I would've preferred a new album from her, but i take what i can get and there are also some great tracks and cover versions on this soundtrack. New music of Jessica and her wonderful voice is always welcome. This soundtrack climbed into the top 3 of my weekly countdown. Singles 90. Miley Cyrus - Younger Now Miley's album was kind of a disappointment. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't a masterpiece like "Bangerz" or even "Can't Be Tamed". "Younger Now" was a cute single tho. It took a while to grow on me, but then i really liked the dreamy vibe of this song. It spent eight weeks in my charts and peaked at #14. 89. Fifth Harmony - Angel Fifth Harmony released their first music without Camila this year and it wasn't really easy for them. "Down" was hated by most fans and didn't chart very well. What followed was the promotional single "Angel" and with this song, fans got everything that they asked for. It climbed all they way to #5 and stayed on my charts for five weeks. 88. DJ Khaled, Rihanna & Bryson Tiller - Wild Thoughts What would be a year without music from Rihanna? She didn't release new solo stuff this year, but jumped on some tracks from other artists. One of them was DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts" which samples Carlos Santana's "Maria Maria". His guitar riffs and lines compared with Rihanna's (and Bryson's) amazing vocals made this song a smash hit, that spent six weeks on the Top 40 and peaked at #2. 87. Lea Michele - Run To You One of the greatest voices of our generation blessed us with another album this year. Even tho i liked "Louder" a little more, her second album "Places" had also some great songs and even greater vocals from Lea Michele. The promotional single "Run To You" was one of the album highlights and could've made the album a so much bigger success, would it have been released as the lead-single. The song climbed to #2 and ended it's chartrun after five weeks. 86. Selena Gomez & Marshmello - Wolves Selena's grew up so much musically this year, but her solo stuff didn't really click with the GP. Don't get me wrong, "Bad Liar" and "Fetish" had moderate success, but it's clear that people prefer dance Selena. "It Ain't Me" smashed and also "Wolves" continues to climb up the charts. And i can see why. Selena just sounds really good on records like this. The song spent five weeks on the charts so far with the highest position being #2. 85. Zara Larsson & Ty Dolla $ign - So Good It's almost impossible to imagine a year-end countdown without Zara Larsson. Last year, she slayed with "All My Fault", but she also has some entries this year. One of them is the title track of her latest album. And it is a cute r&b track, but Zara can do better and this song got old very fast. It also "only" peaked at #6 and spent six weeks on the charts. 84. Alma - Chasing Highs I never paid much attention to Alma and her music, but then she released "Chasing Highs" and snatched me bald. A glorious dance track and my first number #1 single on this countdown. The song stayed on the charts for seven weeks. 83. G Girls - Milk & Honey I could get used to getting slayed by music of these four romanian Queens every year. "Call the Police" even debuted at #1 in 2016. Their follow-up "Milk & Honey" reached number #3 and spent seven weeks on the Top 40. 82. Hailee Steinfeld, Grey & Zedd - Starving "Starving" was one of the biggest hits of 2016 and was #14 on my year-end charts last year. Thanks to a Remix EP, this amazing bop is on the year-end charts for another year. It peaked at #3 spent five weeks on the charts in 2017. 81. Calvin Harris, Kehlani & Lil Yachty - Faking It I was really disappointed in Calvin Harris latest album and only liked this song a little bit, but never listened to it again until the Radio Edit and music video were released and suddenly, i was wigless. This song is a ****ing masterpiece and of course it reached number #1 on my charts. "Faking It" stayed on the Top 40 for seven weeks in total so far, but only five weeks for that period of time that counts for the year-end countdown. I hope all my YTT friends also like my year-end countdown so far. Monky_2405 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Nashville Cast This last season was so... Ciao Adios is one of the best pop songs of the year, happy it is on your list! And I wasn't expecting to see Astrid S slaying in the Best Of section like she's is doing by being in a lot of lists I'm seeing Our tastes are very very similar, Alma, Zara, Lea, Selena...Fifth Harmony (of course!). This list is already shaping up to be (almost) flawless!!
TayDine1989 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Christina Grimmie though T.T GREAT LIST SO FAR SIS!!!
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Faking It is my favorite from Calv album smash that got away wait @ Starving slaying once again it's a Alma was nice discovering this year for me intersted to hear more from ha Wolves, Ciao Adios, Tension Younger Now is kinda underrated for me (song), but I think it was bad single choice The Ride kinda slayed me this year Rebel Heart Tour isn't tea, since this bitch kept LDLHA off. The Architect is flawless, it better be higher next year
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 18, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2017 I was so obsessed with make me (cry) when it came out. great list so far
Remmy Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Artists #50-46: Foxes and Carly makng the list on their off years Songs #100-91: Cold is a slight grower Tension Swalla + Make Me (Cry) Artists #45-41: P!nk snapped this year Just discovered Betty this year, love ha! Albums #90-81: Unsolved was nice Poppy.Computer has a few solid tracks, but the rest is just meh.Songs #90-81: So Good Younger Now Run to You + Starving Both are fantastic Solid updates so far
Kevin2803 Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 (edited) Artists 40. Pitbull Pitbull reenters the charts after being absent for four years. He released some major bops, like "Hey Ma" or "Por Favor, this year and also had a Greatest Hits album. His highest position so far after being #47 in 2013. 39. Lena Lena didn't release a new album this year, but her emotional single "If I Wasn't Your Daughter" and a re-release of "Crystal Sky" was enough for a comeback on the artist charts. She debuted in 2015 within the top 10 at #7. Hopefully, we will get new music by next year. 38. Rachel Platten Rachel flopped hard on the US charts this year with her second album "Waves" which is a shame, because it a really good pop album. She peaked at #12 and #2 with her singles "Broken Glass" and "Perfect For You" and "Waves" was also a success on my charts. She's still down from her #29 position last year tho. 37. Rihanna A legend like Rihanna doesn't have to release new music to be relevant. "Anti" and her whole discography is good enough to give her a place on this list for another year, even if she's down from her previous #13 position. Rihanna didn't release any new solo stuff this year, but was featured on some hits like "Wild Thoughts" and "Loyalty.". 36. Helene Fischer I would've never thought that the german Taylor Swift would ever make my list, but here we are. I guess, no one can escape Helene forever. To be fair, her last album was quite good and even spawned three top 3 hits with "Herzbeben", "Achterbahn" and "Nur mit dir". With Maria and Helene on this list, maybe i will turn into a Schlager fan after all. Albums 80. Haley Reinhart? - What's That Sound? I'm still waiting for the day on which one of my favorite "American Idol" contestants releases a worthy follow-up to her amazing debut album "Listen Up!". "Better" wasn't it and neither is "What's That Sound?", even tho it has some cute cover versions, like "For What It's Worth". And it's always nice to hear Haley's voice. Her third album peaked at #3 and stayed there for a single week. 79. Calvin Harris - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 I was highly disappointed by this album. After the first listen, i barely liked any song. I listened to "Feels" a couple of times, which peaked at #19 on my charts, but i never really got into the other songs until the music video to "Faking It" was released, which is a major smash. So, maybe i should give this album another chance. So far, it peaked at #8 and stayed on the charts for two weeks. 78. Levina - Unexpected Levina flopped hard this year. Not only as the german entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, but also on the german charts. Her album didn't even chart on the Top 100. It's kinda sad that Germany doesn't support their own artists. The album peaked at #3 and spend two weeks within the top 5. The second single "Stop Right There" climbed to #35 on the charts. 77. Ruelle - Madness Every TV addict knows atleast her voice. She sings the theme song of "Shadowhunters" and her songs are heard in a dozen other tv shows. "Game of Survival" was also featured on the trailer of the Netflix hit show "13 Reasons Why". The album didn't chart on the weekly charts, but that didn't stop her to make the year-end list. 76. Tayá - Tayá - EP Tayá is one of the most promising new artists of the year. "Deeper" was a massive bop and her EP includes some other cute songs, too. She debuted on #6, but only stayed on the charts for one week. Maybe a full length album will do better. 75. Lola Coca - The Only Child Lola Coca made the year-end list in 2016 with her amazing single "Bad Girlfriend". Her debut album doesn't offer much other bops tho, atleast no new ones. "GQ" was already released as a single before the album release and the only other decent song is "Love Me". It also only peaked at #9 and was out the next week. 74. Vanessa White - Chapter Two - EP I'm still sad that The Saturdays don't make music together anymore. Vanessa's EP was decent and this R&B style suits her voice, but it doesn't come close to the bops "The Saturdays" released over the years. "Chapter Two" entered the top 5, but only stayed there for one week. 73. Imagine Dragons - Evolve I'm a little ashamed that i got into this album so late. It would probably be much higher otherwise, because "Thunder", "Whatever It Takes" and "Believer" are all great songs. The album peaked at #3, but only spent one week within the top 10 so far. 72. Ty Dolla $ign - Beach House 3 The power of Lauren Jauregui. "In Your Phone", her collaboration with Ty, is the only reason why the album is here. It's the only song i've listened to and it was enough to let this album peak at #5. It spent two weeks in total on the top 10. 71. DNCE - DNCE This album was already on my year-end list last year on #95 and made it again in 2017, thanks to a new edition. The album didn't chart on the weekly charts this year, but it peaked at #14 on the monthly charts in December 2016. Singles 80. Selena Gomez & Gucci Mane - Fetish Musically, Selena Gomez surprised a lot of people this year. With "Fetish" she experimented with different sounds and showcased her artistic growth. The song climbed all the way up to #3 and spent six weeks on the top 40. 79. Madison Beer - Say It To My Face One of the last big hits of 2017. "Say It To My Face" spent four consecutive on the top of the charts. No other artist managed to do this, not even Dua Lipa or Camila Cabello. The song impresses with Madison's sultry vocals and a hot music video. If she continues like that, she will be even bigger next year. 78. Zara Larsson - Don't Let Me Be Yours "Don't Let Me Be Yours", which was co-written by Ed Sheeran, was the seventh single of her debut album "So Good". It peaked at #14 and only spent three weeks on the Top 40, but it still managed to make the year-end list, because i already listened to it a few times before the single release. 77. Lorde, Khalid, Post Malone & SZA - Homemade Dynamite (Remix) I have no idea why a lot of people don't like this version of the song. I think, all the guest artists fit very well on the song and i even prefer it over the original version. If this version wouldn't exist, "Homemade Dynamite" probably wouldn't be Lorde's second biggest hit on my charts. It stayed on the Top 40 for six weeks and peaked at #3. 76. Shakira & Maluma - Chantaje One of the songs that got me into spanish music. Well, apparently not only me, because spanish music is the new big thing. This song and especially video was also the first time i noticed Maluma and i thank Shakira every single day for it. "Chantaje" missed the top 10 and peaked at #11, but spent nine weeks on the Top 40. 75. Sofia Carson - Back to Beautiful This girl releases a single every couple of months and it sounds always like a hit. This one is probably her biggest bop so far and one of my number #1 hits of the year. It only spent one week at #1, but eight weeks in total. 74. Era Istrefi & French Montana - No I Love Yous Well, i went through a little hoe phase this year, but only for a couple of weeks and this song was my theme song at that time. Sadly, Era didn't have a hit song since "Bonbon". If Rihanna would've released this song, it would've been a smash hit. It was number #1 on my charts and was out after seven weeks. 73. Inna - Gimme Gimme If Inna releases a single, it's almost guaranteed that it's a BOP. And "Gimme Gimme" is THAT bop. The drop is pure heaven. The lead single of her latest album "Nirvana" peaked at #4 and spent six weeks on the charts - so far. I got recently back into the song and it's currently back on the charts. 72. Lady GaGa - The Cure "Joanne" was cute, but this is the kind of music we all want and love from Lady GaGa. "The Cure" slayed our existence out of nowhere and obviously debuted at #1 on my charts. It stayed on the charts for seven weeks. 71. M.O & Kent Jones - Not in Love "Who Do You Think Of?" was a cute hit last year and was followed by this song, which was also a bop. They are still waiting for their big breakthrough tho. Maybe it will finally happen next year. "Not in Love" peaked within the top 10 at #6 and spent eight weeks on the charts.
