Worst In Me is on par with Isses quality-wise btw 6 hours ago, TheWayWeWere said: tbh I didn't expect anything from AL since their music direction change, but they did it pretty great, one of my fav albums this year nice picks tho you shoud check out CVRCHES then! I find AL very similar to their latest album 6 hours ago, TheWayWeWere said: N1A Charli made so many good music this year, this mixtape is EVERYTHING It just doesn't do it for me Pop 2 is great, tho. Flatline Nelly Furtado I would personally prefer to put “Pipe Dreams” here but it’s a 2016 song so I’ve decided to go with Flatline. It’s one of the biggest standouts on Nelly’s album and its chorus is full of energy. The bubbling sounds in in are quite unnecessary though. iconic Edited December 17, 2017 by JoAddams
Navyofbadgals Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Issues was a cute song, was quite shocked when it got a SOTY nomination.. but then again all the soty noms this year are a MESS so no1curry
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 17, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2017 I kinda agree on number 1 angel. I loved the bops but it grew old pretty fast. she definitely did that with pop 2
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 17, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2017 Conflicted on EN being here but I'll it still Issues whew N1A was a disappointment I agree After Laughter did that too

bestfiction Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 #26 "Your body's looking good tonight, I think that we should cross the line" Ruin the Friendship Demi Lovato I'm gonna talk about Demi Lovato a lot in one of the following updates but when it comes to this song, I love how smoothy, intimate and sensual it is. Demi does not try to show herself as a powerhouse vocalist as she usually do here and it's for good. I think she should do more songs like Ruin the Friendship. #25 "Let go and enjoy the ride" Let Go Natasha Bedingfield Okay, I love Natasha Bedinfield a lot and I've been waiting for her 4th ablum since 2012 This song was used in Nestea commercial but it's a nice polished and enjoyable bop. Buy this song and the album Strip Me on itunes please and save Natasha's career.

bestfiction Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 #13 This is a hymn for the hymnless, kids with no religion Rainbow Kesha The anticipated Kesha's comeback turned out to be a big surprise for everyone. Going from electro-pop music to country and pop rock mixture was very unexcpected but it all was worth it in the end. She sounds very persuasively whether she is kicking ass in a feminist anthem Woman or dealing with Godzillas. This album was definitely a start for Kesha as an artistic being. Highlights: Woman, Hymn, Boots, Godzilla
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 17, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2017 Rainbow love the highlights except for Boots. the two best songs were ignored tho poor Bastards and Spaceship
Kavish Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 After Laughter and Everything Now. Thunder is such a zomp.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 RTF it's such a hot sensual track, love some r&b influences by Demi Let Go is pretty good, but I STILL HATE THIS ****ING BITCH FOR NOT PUTTING ANOTHER ALBUM I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU NATASHA YOU ****ING ***** HOW DARE ARE YOU PUTANA

bestfiction Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 #24 "God, make me famous, if you can't, just make it painless" Creature Comfort Arcade Fire I've already told about EN so I kinda don't know what to add... It's very loud and draws your attention pretty fast. Also it's lowkey depressive and 2017 wasn't a good year when it comes to literally everything except for music so yeah... Relatable. #23 "You know I'm the only one that gets you higher" So Good Zara Larsson I tend to see a hate towards this song and idk why. It's a bop. Leave this bop alone! It does sound like an Ariana Grande leftover but ATRL loves Ariana so why would you hate it? Anyway, here it is. Probably it would've been my guilty pleasure of 2017 if I was 14 years old and cared about what my classmates say about my taste in music

bestfiction Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 #13 "Can't turn off what turns me on" Masseduction St. Vincent This year was definitly reigned by Jack Antonoff who produced the most popular and acclaimed records of 2017. It was the first St. Vincent album for me and I found it to be pretty enjoyable. I would like to highlight New York and Happy B-Day Johnny which are... I want to say ballads but it don't think this tag would've been correct. I think St. Vincent's made these songs pretty unique and I loved it. Also Sugarboy and Los Ageless are bops. Highlights: New York, Sugarboy, Los Ageless

bestfiction Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 bestfiction's top-5 biggest surprises of 2017 Maybe I will do a graphic for this one later #5 "You're too good for me but I want you anyway" So Good Zara Larsson Since I started talking about Zara, lemme finish with her real quick. I kinda didn't pay attention to her until I heard So Good (the song) and I've decided to give her a try. Honeslty this album... wasn't that great but I've excpected Bebe Rexha's level of tragedy tbh. TG4M is the hit that never was and there was a couple of nice tracks as well. From what I've heard, I think Zara has the potential to grow and become a global superstar. Higlights: I Would Like, So Good, TG4M.

The only thing she deserves to be dragged for is that "I don't wanna shower" lyrics in Only You
