Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Hello everyone, I will be counting down my Top 10 Albums of 2017, the reason I'm only doing 10 albums is because I haven't been listening to many of 2017's albums this year Some of these you'll know, others you might be thinking: "What the actual f*ck has he been listening to?" So without further ado, lets get started....
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 #10: Nathan Carter - Livin' The Dream In 2017, Irish Country singer Nathan Carter released his sixth album called: Livin' The Dream, comprised of a mixture of covers and original written songs, a few weeks after the album release date, Nathan held an album release day in Dungannon which was very successful, I met him again for the fourth time, a babe and a hottie all in one , some of the best tracks are: Beeswing, Holdin' A Good Hand, Ridin' With Private Malone and Jealous of The Angels.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 #9: Taylor Swift - reputation On the 10th of November 2017 (which also happened to be my 23rd Birthday ), Taylor Swift released one of the best albums of 2017, this has to be without a doubt her best effort and even though I don't like her at all, you have to admit it's an amazing album and she did drag the f*ck out of Kanye on this, some of the best songs on this are: TIWWCHNT, CIWYW, Getaway Car, Gorgeous, ...Ready For It?, LAWYMMD and I Did Something Bad, the production is amazing but some of the lyrics are meh, she's done them before and that's what keeps it from being higher on my list.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 #8: Tarkan - 10 Turkish singer Tarkan released 10 in June 2017, and to my surprise it's an amazing album, Yolla, Hodri Meydan, Kedi Gibi, Çay Simit, Çok Ağladım and Sevdam Tek Nefes are my favourites, the lyrics are still classic Tarkan and it's a great album to listen to.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 #7: The Script - Freedom Child The Script released their 5th album Freedom Child in September 2017 and I never listened to their last effort No Sound Without Silence, but I decided to give this album a try and I'm glad I did because it's an amazing album, Divided States of America, Mad Love, Make Up, No Man is an Island, Freedom Child and Deliverance are my favourites, such a great album.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 #6: Rainbow - Kesha In 2017, Kesha came back to music with a bang by releasing her first album in 5 years, Rainbow is Kesha's 3rd album after Warrior, it's a great album, with tracks which will make you bop your b*ssy so hard, Praying made me cry that's how much I was excited for this album, she never disappointed me with this album, my favourite tracks are: Praying, Boots, Hunt You Down, Godzilla, Learn To Let Go, Let 'Em Talk, Woman and Hymn, really good mix of country and pop music.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 I will reveal my Top 5 tomorrow, who do you think will be the winner?

Tiziano's Boy Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 #5: Dua Lipa - Dua Lipa (Deluxe) Dua Lipa finally released her debut album in June 2017 after it being delayed for four months from the original release date of 10th February 2017, this is a great Pop album, even if the tracklist is quite an annoyance, my favourite tracks are: Last Dance, Genesis, New Rules, New Love, Bad Together, Homesick, Room For 2 and IDGAF.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 #4: Lana Del Rey - Lust for Life Lust for Life was released in July 2017 and is one of Lana's best albums, the production and the lyrics are out of this world, but some songs I hate (Summer Bummer, Groupie Love and Tomorrow Never Came). Heroin, Get Free and WTWWAWWKD are my holy trinity from this album, Change, 13 Beaches, Coachella-Woodstock and GBA-ATBW are also my other favourites from this album.
conatus Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 I see a lot of hate for Tomorrow Never Came and it baffles me a bit. It's like a superior Across The Universe.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 #3: Paloma Faith - The Architect (Deluxe) Paloma Faith released her 4th studio album in November 2017 and what an album it is, this album takes a socio-political turn which is a first for Paloma, songs like Guilty standing in a Brexiter's shoes and singing from their point of view regretting their vote to leave the EU, My Body which is about Paloma showing that she loves her body, scars and all and also celebrating the things that her mum gave her, life being one of them, this was a song that she wrote for her child and it's my favourite from the album, 'Til I'm Done which is about single parents, WW3 which is about Trump's America, Crybaby which is about letting men show their true emotions and telling them that it's OK to cry, Warrior which was originally Sia's but she gave it to Paloma, Paloma gives it a new meaning about the refugees who have escaped war, poverty and homelessness.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 #2: Tiziano Ferro - Il mestiere della vita Urban vs Acoustic Tiziano released this reissue of Il mestiere della vita on the 10th of November 2017 (which was my Birthday ), it has 7 acoustic versions of his songs from IMDV along with a duet with Levante and 4 bonus tracks, some of the acoustic tracks work really well i.e. "Solo" è solo una parola Urban works amazingly , the new version of Ora perdona is a complete mess , I really don't know what he was thinking, the Valore assoluto duet with Levante is quite nice, I really love the new versions of Lento/veloce and Il conforto (Although Carmen really adds a lot to Il conforto, so it's quite disappointing she's not on it), I love having the No Vacancy Remix with Tiziano on it, but I can't help feeling more should have been done with the Urban vs Acoustic tracklist, i.e. more tracks from Il mestiere della vita should have been reworked and rerecorded, Casa è vuota would have been amazing redone.
prézli Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Is Tarkan still alive? Kesha and Paloma TALENTS.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 #1: Shania Twain - Now (Deluxe) Well, after 15 years of being away from the spotlight, Queen of Country Pop Shania Twain has made her comeback in the best way possible coming back with the bang that she needed, releasing her 5th studio album in 15 years, Now is one of Shania's best albums and it shows, she wrote all of the songs by herself and co-produced every track, after her betrayal by her husband and ex-best friend having an affair with each other behind her back, Shania ended up developing dysphonia which affects her vocal cords, leading them to seize up and stop working, Shania now has to warm up her vocals every time before she sings or else it becomes very painful for her to sing, she also contracted Lyme Disease when she was horse riding in Virginia in 2004, during her Up! Tour, so making this album was therapy for Shania, she also broke down writing this album as some of these songs were so sad for Shania to write, her husband Frédéric Thiebaud (Marie-Anne's ex-husband) helped Shania to send the music and in the end, she released the best album of 2017, my favourite tracks are: All In All, Where Do You Think You're Going, Let's Kiss And Make Up, Because Of You, Life's About To Get Good, Light Of My Life, More Fun, Soldier, Poor Me, Home Now and Swingin' With My Eyes Closed, sorry Tiziano, but Shania deserved this Number 1, I'm going to see her in September next year and I really can't wait!
Kim Kardashian Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Rainbow, Dua & The Architect Ready for Now to snatch that #1, hope Light of My Life is listed as a highlight
Zymphonic Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 I had a feeling Shania would SNATCH #1 but I was getting worried. Excellent list, especially your top 4!
Temporal Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Kesha and Dua I need to listen to some of Shania's iconic music, I don't know her Discog very well.
Tiziano's Boy Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 I forgot to add Queen Shakira's El Dorado, how stupid was I not to?
