Pink Matter Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Nice set of singles! I think my faves are Slip Away and Sautrnz Barz but Heatstroke, Call the Police, SNS, the gate, Lemon, and Something Just Like This are also great too

Oh my God, you remembered that And lest we forget, she played Whitney's daughter in that movie that nobody watched 4 minutes ago, Pink Matter said: Nice set of singles! It wasn't a big year for the main pop girls, but it allowed many other artists to shine.
Tom Vercetti Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Automaton was alright for Jamiroquai. Prefer Cloud 9 Call The Police is the lesser of the dual CTP/American Dream release. Love Slip Away.

Make sure you check out my best of later to see what's up (Also need to check out that Jamiroquai sing while I'm at it )

I got several titles from your Best of that I added to one my Spotify playlists. You've got so much cool stuff in there (same with Wicked and Tom), I feel like my top 100 is fairly safe and pedestrian. 1 hour ago, Tom Vercetti said: Automaton was alright for Jamiroquai. It's almost a return to form (takes me back to the times of "Love Foolosophy").

Wicked Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Undercover!! a SONG!! I didn't know Michelle Branch released something
Alessandra Posted January 7, 2018 Author Posted January 7, 2018 Gonna post the other 90 and get this over with. 18 hours ago, Wicked said: I didn't know Michelle Branch released something The single is really good (and the album is actually one of her best). Shame that she no longer gets any promo Spoiler
Wicked Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I only use Jamilla from these, I like Troye Sivan to some degree though might take a peak at that one. 25 minutes ago, Latinazza said: The single is really good (and the album is actually one of her best). Tom Vercetti Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 I'm feeling #96 through #93 Wasn't expecting Charlie Puth to hit the scene but Attention is one of his best songs. Holy Got a soft spot for There For You as well.
Pink Matter Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Some more great songs in these last few updates Muna, Paramore, Slowdive, Goldfrapp, Calvin Harris, Susanne, HAIM, SZA, and Jamila

R&B (at least to me) was pretty good this year @Wicked It was, especially SZA, Kelela, Jamila, Leela, Denitia & Sene, H.E.R., Brent Faiyaz, and many others. And then there's UK Soul like NAO, Jorja Smith, RAYE, JONES, and even Jessie Ware. But I keep hearing from fools (here and in real life) who claim that the genre is dead. It is more dynamic than it had been in a while.

I can see the problem with artists that are stuck in that The Weeknd circa 2011 phase but I agree there's been quite a lot of variety of goods this year.
