Dom Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 disco ****, yass beach, i love you, my songgg, especially in club. wolves is alright BeBe snapped on I Got You, her best bop.
JGibson Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 50-41: 2/10 Thunder + Issues 40-36: 3/5 Sorry Not Sorry + Shape Of You + Disco T!ts
305 Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 #22 Clean Bandit Kind of fell off the map for me after Rather Be, but they have done nothing but put out full on bops this whole year. Symphony is a classic and I Miss You is AMAZING #21 Dua Lipa I had seen her name on here since 2015 but didn't really check her out until I listened to New Rules, that song is a pop masterpiece and her album knocks. Plus she is stunning and her voice is so unique. Wouldn't be surprised if she became a MPG (needs some work tho) #20 Julia Michaels She started off the year with a soft bang with the global smash ballad Issues, and then continued slaying me with her Nervous System (EP). She has such a unique voice and her songwriting skills are some of the best out there, here's to her sticking around in 2018 and beyond.
305 Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 I'll post some more of my Top 50 Songs later tonight!
lhdang2000 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I love all three artists in very different ways. I think Clean Bandit stood out the most tho. Symphony is amazing and deserves much more success.
305 Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Let's do some more top 10 Most Disappointing Albums of 2017. . 8. Red Pill Blues- Maroon 5 Am I really listening to Maroon 5 or did One Direction reunite (I love Cold and What Lovers Do) 7. Memories... Do No Open- The Chainsmokers Even though they are hated on here, I enjoy listening to a good bop. At first their album was really fun, for a month or two. After that I can't remember listening to any of their songs. It literally did not last, and after listening to it again recently I have no idea why I liked it so much at first.
Remmy Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Most Disappointing Albums: Divide This is making everyone's worst lists kiii! I thought it was fine, same 'ol Ed. I enjoy Maroon 5 and The Chainsmokers but I can agree with both. Pretty underwhelming compared to past releases.Top Artists: Dua Nicki + Imagine Dragons Top Songs - Bubbling Under: Fetish, Bad at Love, No Frauds, Love So Soft, Witness IDWLF, Chunky, Believer, Homemade Dynamite Finding You I Don't Know Why, Rainbow, What Lovers Do ...Ready for It? 305 Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 #35 LOVE.- Kendrick Lamar ft. Zacari My second favorite song from DAMN. It's such a jam #34 Nights With You- MØ The lead single from her When I Was Young EP, she delivered an electronic pop ballad masterpiece! #33 Felices los 4- Maluma One of my favorite Spanish songs of the year. Brings back so many memories of clubbing and being with friends. #32 Hitchhiker- Demi Lovato This is such a sensual, slow bop. It stood out as one of the best songs from Tell Me You Love Me #31 That's What I Like- Bruno Mars Bruno snatched yet another #1 like the king he is, and it's deserved because this song is so much fun to listen to and it is definitely on it's way to becoming a classic
lhdang2000 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I agree that Red Pills Blue was so disappointing. I was so close to buying it, then I didn't and decided to stream it first. Glad I did that. Hitchhiker got this far.
jose168 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Love is dope, it put me off at first but its such an obvious smash. Felices los 4
Remmy Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 That's What I Like Yesss at Hitchhiker I feel like it's so underrated, but it's been in my TMLYM top 3 since play #1
Jet Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I slept on Hitchhiker at first and wrote it off as filler but I've really come to love it over time. I'd say it's the best from the album even
305 Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 #30 Symphony- Clean Bandit ft. Zara Larsson Simply incredible. #29 Malibu- Miley Cyrus Such a good summer song. It puts you into a good mod, you can't help to just bop. #28 Bastards- Kesha A beautiful song. One of the best from Rainbow. #27 No Limit- G-Eazy ft. A$AP Rocky & Cardi B With this song Cardi no longer was a one hit wonder, and it's deserved because her verse is the best part of the whole song. #26 Tyrant- Kali Uchis ft. Jorja Smith One of the most unique songs this year. Nothing else sounds like it. Kali sounds so sexy, and the video is also amazing.
Remmy Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Malibu Bastards Nice album opener. Symphony yesss Wasn't expecting Zara to snap like this
305 Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 Here are some more Disappointing Albums of 2017 6. Witness- Katy Perry & Beautiful Trauma- P!nk I decided that these were both equally as disappointing. For Katy, I expected way more than Witness after such a long break. Pretty much half of the album is no good, and even the singles are weak. I hope that with her next era she will be able recuperate her losses! - Kind of the same reasoning for P!nk. She was gone for so long that I thought she was going to come back with a PUNCH. What About Us is cute, but nowhere near as great as her other leads and the rest of the album is pretty forgettable. She is slaying in the sales department tho 5. More Life- Drake We could not escape the power of Drake for yet another year. And yet again, Drake delivered another underwhelming album (or mixtape).
Remmy Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 P!nk doesn't belong here ATRL seems to be disappointed just because she didn't deserve a lot of bops. She still served QUALITY! Katy on the other hand... well, there's a few cute tracks on Witness, but it's easily her weakest album yet. Like... by far.
Dom Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 P!nk. sis... i'm disappointed. it's a gr8 album.
soml Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Some amazing songs there. Malibu, Symphony, Felices los 4, Hitchiker, That's What I Like
prézli Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Beautiful Trauma is awful, let's unstan together.
