Now or Never is nice  I'm not a huge fan of Ed but Castle On the Hill really snatched me out of nowhere... I just have so many feelings flowing through me whenever I listen to that one. Deserved to have SoY's success.

'Now or Never', 'Castle on the Hill' & 'Havana' all grew on me too. Especially 'Havana'.

 

At first I could not even fathom why it was slaying the charts, and then after a few weeks of having it on constant repeat I realized. The 'ooh nah nah' parts are so addictive.

10. "2 Fux" by Adam Lambert

I was SUPER excited about Adam's new single...then we got this. I LOVE the sound of it but lyrically its just bleh...

 

09. "John Wayne" by Lady Gaga

Of ALL the songs off Joanne...THIS....the video slightly helps it I guess

 

08. "I Dont" by Mariah Carey

Mariah is (sadly nowadays) no stranger to THIS list. While its not as bad as some others she relased ("Triumphant" anyone) it just makes Mariah feel less genuine about her music

 

07. "Bad Things" by Machine Gun Kelly feat. Camila Cabello

I get WHY this was popular, it's the same old formula to get that hit (which I dont mind) I just couldnt vibe with it

 

06. "Bon Appetit" by Katy Perry feat. Migos

Katy sis...This was the start of the downfall for Katy this era. I could at least sorta get behind Chained to the Rhythm, but this was just not good. And the contrast of this song to MOST of the album is like night and day.

 

05. "Paris" by The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers....I just dont get 'em (well besides one at least)

 

04. "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber

What ruins this for me is Justin Bieber. Not that I hate Justin (cuz I liked his last era) but that it got so popular after he jumped on it. I also feel like he took away something from the song.

 

03. "Swalla" by Jason Derulo

Sorry @Remmy , but you can keep this one...

 

02. "Look What You Made Me Do" by Taylor Swift

Ok, lets get 2 things out the way...I LOVE the video (one of the BEST this year) and I LOVE the album, but this song just doesnt do go anywhere for me. Her voice is too monotone for me on this track and it gets annoying REALLY fast. 

 

01. "New Rules" by Dua Lipa

I just dont get it. Why this is liked (or loved) SO MUCH. I've tried to get into this, I really have but it does nothing for me. It's decent...but the overhype for this song just kills it for me.

Bon Appetit is not only one of the worst songs of the year, but also arguably the worst song by Katy Perry. The song itself was awful enough, but the music video was unwatchable.
