I've been through a lot of back and forth on whether or not this song was going to land at #1 or #2 on this countdown.

Ultimately, I came to the firm decision that this song deserves to be my #1 song of 2017.

I have been loyally listening to it since January and it has been a major part of my entire year.

I'm so thankful that my obsession with MØ transpired this year.

Her music is just so amazing and I love every single minute of every song she releases.

Although, this may just be a pop/dance song, there is a lot of emotion interwoven into each lyric.

There's something about this song that is so underrated and amazing.

I will always treasure and love this song immensely.

I was very eager to have new Katy Perry music after her long hiatus.

Unfortunately, this album wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be.

I feel like Katy flew off the cuckoos nest a bit with this one.

It's not an awful album; there are some definite bops.

However, nothing on it really screams "smash hit" like her usual stuff.

It almost seems like Katy was trying too hard this time around.

I was very very happy to know that Fifth Harmony was going to trudge through.

Even though pompous Camila left.

I was also very excited to learn that we weren't going to have to wait ages for new material.

Overall, this album is pretty good. Yet, a bit underwhelming.

There are some major bops hidden in this record that the world needs to hear.

Beautiful Trauma

 

 

When Queen P!nk announced her new album for later this year my heart nearly hit the floor.

My body was beyond ready for new music.

This is definitely far from her best album, but regardless, it's an amazing release.

There are some really captivatingly beautiful songs that the world needs to know.

I always knew Demi had a great voice, but she really sold me with this album.

After listening, I can really see the maturity in Demi's songs.

You can tell that she put a lot of effort into this record.

I'm so glad this is doing so well. Demi's very talented and deserves loads of success.

Paramore

After Laughter

 

 

Paramore came back strong after a four-year hiatus.

I was so amazed by how different this music (in a good way) was from their older stuff.

It's almost indie pop but still has that signature Paramore vibe to it.

I was really really obsessed with this album for a majority of the spring and summer.

However, I'm not the biggest fan of the album cover tbh.

This album is full of so many amazing songs I can't keep count.

I love how much effort and passion Lorde puts into her music.
