Kim Kardashian Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 Starting with my film countdown tomorrow! Gonna try not to be too much of a perfectionist with the graphics cause that's always my downfall with these things
Kim Kardashian Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 Top 5 Films #5 - 3 #5 - Jackie Jackie was such a great film, Natalie was truly mesmerising As a biopic it was good, but as a psychodrama it was amazing. She for sure deserved Best Actress for this #4 - Battle of the Sexes Saw this film just a few weeks ago, it was great. I was totally ignorant on this whole story, of course i'd heard of Billie Jean King and knew she was an amazing female tennis player, but I had no idea she was such a champion of women's rights and partook in something like this. I'm really sort of neutral on Emma Stone but she was absolutely amazing in this l read what happened before I saw the film and I was super surprised when the film painted Steve Carrell's Bobby Riggs as a sympathetic character, it impressed me tbh because it would've been very easy for them to just be lazy and paint him as a total asshole. #3 - Girls Trip To say I was anticipating this film is an understatement I cannot even begin to come up with a number for how many times I watched the trailer in the months leading up to the release. I all the actresses in this film, but obviously Tiffany Haddish has to be my standout. She stole every scene and i'm super hopeful this will lead to a billion deserved opportunities for her.
That Bad Eartha Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 (edited) Girls Trip deserves all the acclaim. I will literally see anything with Queen Latifah in it so I was always going to see it. But Tiffany's rise to the spotlight has easily been one of the best parts of 2017. Just bought her book and can't wait to read it. Edited December 14, 2017 by That Bad Eartha

Just bought her book and can't wait to read it. I had no idea she had a book Need to get that ASAP. Yeah as soon as I saw Queen Latifah was starring (same with Jada and Regina to a lesser extent), I was already sold. All her films are 10/10 for me.

Yeah I just saw, i'll definitely be asking for it for Xmas. Weird that she did an SNL sketch of the same name, I guess one of the writers just saw the title and thought of the sketch.

She talked a bit about coming into SNL with a lot of ideas and mentioned that being one of the only ones she was able to get through on her Breakfast Club interview this week.
Bubble Tea Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 I never got around to seeing Jackie - tbh I forgot about it! It got a limited release in New Zealand. Note-to-self to check it out.
Diet Pepsi Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Was a bit disappointed they didn’t use That’s My Girl in Girls Tripother then that it was a very entertaining film
