Hug Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 1. Katy Perry - 1500 points 2. K.A.R.D - 1400 points 3. INNA - 1300 points 4. Kygo, Oliver Nelson, Bonnie McKee - 1200 points 5. SONAMOO - 1100 points others Spoiler 6. Jun, The8 - 1000 7. Nick Jonas, Tove Lo - 900 8. Camila Cabello - 800 9. UNIT BLACK - 700 10. PENTAGON - 600 11. Black6ix - 500 12. U Know - 400 13. Tinie Tempah, Zara Larsson - 300 14. No Riddim, Megan Lee - 200 15. Halsey - 100 Today's update sees Katy Perry topping the charts -- something she's used to! Her first entry "Roulette" nets her 1,500 points, putting her 100 points ahead of the runner-ups, co-ed K-Pop group K.A.R.D! Something to note about both of these artists is they both have at least one more appearance on the chart, so they can both very feasibly top the charts later on. Lower down the chart, at third place, is INNA, who unfortunately will not be seeing the top spot, as she only has one entry on the countdown...the good news is Bonnie McKee, who just missed the coveted Top 3, will be appearing again on the countdown at least one more time! Will she be the dark horse of the chart...? Rounding off the top 5 is K-Pop girl group SONAMOO, who, like INNA, only have the one entry on the chart, thus crushing any chance of topping the chart. Top 5 is still good! Today's update was the first one to feature artists who will appear again later on, so the charts will be sure to start shifting in unpredictable ways. Will any of the revealed artists go on to win it all, or is there someone in the shadows who is ready to come in like a true dark horse? You'll just have to tune in to find out! Today will be wrapped up with the second Dancefloor Spotlight, and this one is a REAL throwback! You thought 2014 was old? Just wait!
Hug Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 The second day is coming to a close, and I'm feeling like a good '80s throwback! "Easy Lover" by Philip Bailey & Phil Collins and is a song that I considered adding to my year end, but decided against because I felt like it would feel out of place compared to the other tracks, for multiple reasons. Still, the chorus on this song is an absolute BANGER and the intro is absolutely magical. I don't know how many of you girls are into 80s music by male artists, but hey, a lot of this site doesn't use K-Pop neither. I welcome Philip Bailey and Phil Collins to the floor! The spotlight's all yours! Thus ends the second day of my dance party! Tune in tomorrow if you'd like...or not.

Another song where I liked it a lot but kind of forgot about it only to love it again towards the end. If I had more time it might've been on my list. My I is great ofc, but I like it for the video/choreography that they created a bit more. I figured you completely got over Steal Your Heart nytbgfd. Also, yes I agree the My I choreo is phenomenal. Hug Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 1. KNK - 2500 points 2. HALO - 2400 points 3. VAV - 2300 points 4. Trisha Paytas - 2200 points 5. Taylor Swift - 2100 points Others Spoiler 6. Loreen - 2000 7. Charli Taft - 1900 8. Kesha - 1800 9. Produce 101 - 1700 10. Teen Top - 1600 11. Katy Perry - 1500 12. K.A.R.D - 1400 13. INNA - 1300 14. U Know - 400 23. Tinie Tempah, Zara Larsson - 300 24. No Riddim, Megan Lee - 200 25. Halsey - 100 Male domination today, as three K-Pop boy groups take up the top 3 spaces. Something they all have in common, besides being K-Pop boy groups, is that they all only have the one entry on the countdown...that's actually something the whole top 5 have in common! The first time that has happened since the first day (possibly the last? ). Something to note is literally just outside of the top 5 is Loreen, who DOES have another entry on the chart, as does Kesha, who is sitting at 8th. Will these two girls climb their way up the charts as the countdown goes on, or will they continue sitting outside of the Top 5? Guess you'll just have to tune in to find out... Up next is the Dancefloor Spotlight, and I have quite the treat for you guys, with Produce 101 being in the mix and all...
Hug Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 The third day of my Best Of is now coming to a close (I did this like 20 minutes faster than last time, go me! ), and I've been thinking to myself...the Dancefloor Spotlight is a place where I showcase songs that, for one reason or another, do not make the list...but does this section have it's own theme song? Yes, it does! It has two, actually! You will be introduced to the first one now~ I know nobody reads the Tumblr posts, so I'll state it again here. When Produce 101's second season was running, I didn't actually pay attention to it, but I knew my boy Samuel was on there, and I was rooting for him! Of course, the only song I really knew of his at the time was his English...song (was he attempting to break out in the West?) that he did with renowned rapper and viral sensation Silento, a dance pop song called "Spotlight". I'll be honest, I...loved it. I still do! We are forever grateful that someone took the time to make a decent Silento-less version for everyone to enjoy, and so...I bring you, Dancefloor Spotlight's FIRST official theme song, Spotlight! (The second one is actually charting this year! ) I welcome Samuel (and not Silento) to the floor! The spotlight's all yours! For those of you leaving comments, thank you! It makes me feel like I'm not doing this for nothing even though I am rrfgvhbjn
Vilppu Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Rain was excellent and I liked Venus too though She's Mine (or She's Not Mine?) from them just slightly edged it out for me.

I think it's She's Mine, but that's a good song too! Might make my 2018 list, since I think I heard it early December, but we will see!
