K.A.R.D launched all the way to the second spot, with their two entries combined giving them 5500 points (only 500 points ahead of yesterday's second place). Speaking of yesterday's second place, Camila Cabello now ties Katy Perry for third, with her two entries netting her 5000 points. Unlike Katy, though, Camila will have at least one more appearance on the countdown. Loreen slips down to fourth and now ties Jun and The8, who rose thanks to SEVENTEEN's entry on the chart, for which they are credited for because it's my chart okay A.C.E manage to squeeze their way into the Top 5 thanks to having the highest debut score so far, with 4500 points. Out of the top 5, both Camila Cabello and A.C.E have at least one more appearance, as do LOONA and Ansel Elgort, who appear as 6th and 7th respectively. Will any of them claw their way to the top, or is there an artist waiting in the shadows, ready to come out swinging? You'll just have to tune in to find out! Hug Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 The fifth day is at an end, and really I'm starting to run out of things to put in my Dancefloor Spotlight, so...I'm just gonna do some self promotion! For those who are unaware, songwriting is something that I'd like to pursue as a career path, and because of that, I picked up production as a hobby, partly so I'd have something to write to. I've been producing as a hobby for a few years, and while I do still have a lot to learn, I am really proud of what I have learned so far, and I sometimes listen to my own music just because I like it. I decided that for this dancefloor spotlight, I'm going to give the spotlight to my favorite track I've produced this year, which is a song called "Waiting". It's a track I've written to and I'm really proud of how the song turned out in general. ♥ So, without further ado... I welcome myself to the floor! Halsey - 100 So I decided I'd do something new and color artists who have another entry on the chart in green, just so we know who to look out for in the future. Anyway, today sees A.C.E blasting up to the top with 9700 points! A far cry from Kyrah's 6300, which is just barely enough to keep her in the Top 5. LOONA also sees a huge rise, being second place with 9100 points. Samuel and Glabingo are tied for 3rd, and they're both green because they both have at least one more appearance on the countdown, as does Kesha who, albeit being 4th, is quite far away from 3rd, having 1900 points less than Samuel and Glabingo. One note-worthy event to happen just outside of the Top 5 is LuHan, who is currently sitting at 6th, is only doing so because of an award -- the first time awards have actually mattered on the chart! LuHan, without the award, would be sitting at 9th (and my chart would have a secret, racist message so we are very happy LuHan won an award ) If you are curious as to who, of the artists that have charted so far, will be doing so again, you can look at the spoiler tag and check the whole list of artists that have charted: green means they'll appear again! Who will be getting gold, and who will stay green with envy? You'll have to tune in to find out! Up next is the Dancefloor Spotlight, and with Bhad Bhabie and Samuel charting, there seems to be an up-rise in minors, so the Dancefloor Spotlight will feature some minors who actually made history.

This will be my first fully-completed year end, which is great because this is my third attempt at one. Today's spotlight actually has a bit of trivia to it. We know that many K-Pop groups feature young boys and girls because they have longer shelf lives because ageism is a thing! This next group, at one time, held the record for youngest girl group by average, with the youngest member not even being a teenager at the time of debuting! Wild, right? This particular song calls back to the early-mid 2000s pop sound, despite being released in 2011, but I can't help but love it! The chorus is one of the catchiest choruses I've ever heard in a song and I still sing it to myself once in a while. I'm not really sure where these girls went, but I hope the stressful lives K-Pop idols lead didn't mess them up. I welcome GP Basic to the floor! The spotlight's all yours! Tomorrow will be the quarter-finale of my year end...and we are excited! Hope to see y'all there.

(: interestingly enough I didn't like Black Widow BUT I kind of hope Pristin include more "edgy" songs like that because it's funny to have that following a song like Wee Woo.
