volition Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Kelela, Kendrick and St. Vincent really some of the highlights of the year I also liked Loreen’s album as well
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 19, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 19, 2017 I couldn't get past that album after 71 charger turned me off Great #2-3-4 though, that 123 punch
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 19, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 19, 2017 Did you like Strange Mercy? Everyone thinks that's her best album.
lhdang2000 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I didn't expect that #1 until I re-read your sig. I've never been into Loreen after Euphoria for no reason.
Jet Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Masseduction is such great album. I recently got into it and I'm addicted
Mark Rih Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I predicted the whole top 5 WHEW I wasn’t expecting Loreen to snatch the #1 it’s a quality work but not my cup of tea sadly, I only love Juptier Drive. TMA is my fave from the top 5
Playa Playa Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I haven't listened to Loreen's album (yet) But everything else is pretty much great!
Mezik Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I need to listen to this Kelela girl she has a lot of hype. St. Vincent and Kenderick. Serving taste.
Wicked Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I didn't listen to Loreen or St. Vincent yet, I need to get on those. Take Me Apart deserves all praise.
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 20, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 20, 2017 MASSEDUCTION and Take Me Apart whew what albums Loreen's was quite good from the one time I heard it I find DAMN. to be a bit overrated but I can appreciate its quality still Who's this other Alma?
prézli Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Loreen? Are you here for the bald Loreen? Lol. Alma? Lol. Kelela tho

Tom Vercetti Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Love your top 4. I actually listened to Loreen the first time a couple of weeks ago with Ride and it wasn't bad. A bit darker than I expected but I like the standouts.
Diet Pepsi Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Never heard a single album in the top 5 except Damn, once I’ve been really meaning to checkout Kelela though
jose168 Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 MASSEDUCTION, DAMN and Take Me Apart the punches. i havent heard from loreen since euphoria, didnt know she still made music

Navyofbadgals Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 (edited) Top 25 worst songs: #20-11 rihcap Spoiler #25 David Guetta ft. Justin Bieber - 2U #24 Zayn & Taylor - I Don't Wanna Live Forever #23 Charli XCX - Boys #22 Camila Cabello - Crying In The Club #21 Ed Sheeran - Bibia Be Ye Ye #20 Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do Oh no baby, oh no what is you doing. The highly anticipated lead single of Reputation turned out to be a complete mess sonically. It's juvenile, weak and not sonically pleasing at all. I would've put it higher on my list, but I appreciate the song in a sense that it had a good purpose. It was definitely the perfect opening to the Reputation era, and while the song is still awful, I feel like it did its job, so that's why I didn't put it any higher. #19 Dj Khaled, Justin Bieber + others - I'm The One dated, cheap and only smashed because of the names. It's such a weak chorus it's quite sad actually. Happy Chance got a #1, but like.. for this.. really? next. #18 The Chainsmokers - Paris The Chainsmokers are quite sad, tbh. Paris is a prime example of why they are truly at the bottom of the music industry (with quality). Unrealistic teensy 'rihlatable!!!1!!' lyrics over a beat that is not 100% similar to Closer.. but like.. it's close. Emily Warren's uncredited vocals are okay, but that one Chainsmokers guy should stop singing.. it would've been tolerable without him. Honestly am just happy that this didn't smash like Closer, because for a moment I was scared. #17 Jason Derulo ft. French Montana - Tip Toe Oh baby boi. First I had Swalla on this, but I learned to tolerate that song. This one is just all around sad. After If I'm Lucky flopped, Jason is back with a song that is designed to be almost similar to all his recent hits. We also get dancehall influences on this one (not that well used), which are surprisingly late for a trendhopper like Derulo. I rihmember a dutch interview with Jason where he said he wanted to be the next MJ.. clearly that didn't work out for him. Also let's talk about the worst part of the song.. French Montana's part.. ''Left.. cheek.. right cheek, left cheek...'' like no. no. #16 Katy Perry - Mind Maze This just doesn't fit her.. and I always felt betrayed because it starts off amazing.. but that autotune.. especially in that chorus.. NO. #15 P!nk - What About Us no, thank you. #14 Iggy - Mo Bounce Absolutely unlistenable #13 Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still I hate that ATRL actually likes this It's so incredibly annoying It's one of those songs that the GP sees as super alternative and different, when in reality it's a song we've heard a million times (especially that instrumental.. been there, done that). #12 Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor Liam shows once again how he makes the worst out of the 1D boys. The tropical house beat is about 2 years ago, and just sounds awkward now. Also that IPhone lyric is unforgivable, for every artist. Weak chorus too. Well at least his songs aren't as forgettable as Louis, who I wanted to put on this list, but legit forgot about, lmao. #11 Lil Pump - Gucci Gang He's not even 18???!??!?!?! Like he's rapping about bitches and cocaine, wtf happens to kids nowadays?? Also has face tattoos.. like where were his parents? ehm. That said, song is cheap, and just not good. (that said I can kinda bop to it lately as guilty pleasure ki) eskeetit Edited December 20, 2017 by Navyofbadgals
