#5 Maroon 5 - Red Pill Blues

boi. boiii. where to start with this one. Well let's start with the god awful cover, even in the streaming era it's so important to have a nice album cover or whatever.. this **** is.. like unacceptable and gives me strong mid-life crisis vibes, sorrynotsorry. 

Then onto the album, let's start with the incredibly pretentious album closer 'Closure'. It's literally 4 minutes of vocals, and it's an ok song.. then we have like 8 minutes where you think there's perhaps some kind of solo or something, but nothing happens. It's 8 minutes of instrumentals with no climax whatsoever. Furthermore.. the album as a whole is just so.. not exciting.. uninteresting, uninspiring, and feels like it tries too hard to fit in with what is hip, ultimately resulting in a not-so-hip album. 

If someone ever doesn't know what a sell-out is, just show them Maroon 5. good god

#3 Chris Brown - Heartbreak on a Full Moon

I haven't even listened to this whole record, NOT even half of it.. yet here it is. I'm not sure what goofy mother****er he thinks he is, that 45 tracks are ever okay, especially if all your songs are about drugs, hoes, partying and money.. but adding another 12 for a deluxe version??? get the **** outta here man. Besides that, the few songs I've heard... were also his worst songs about those recycled topics.. that's sad huh.

#2 Miley Cyrus - Younger Now

ohhhh boi, it certainly wasn't Miley's year huh. Lemme start of by saying that this album actually has 2 cute songs and a clear artistic direction, something the other albums in this top 5 lack. In fact this era started off pretty cute with Malibu and I felt like it was a very good follow up from her previous two eras. But then came single #2 Younger Now.. which is basically all I hate about Miley in one song. It's her disowning her past, not just learning from her mistakes, but completely disowning that, it's also her vocal use in the song that it's incredibly offputting. Very nasal. plus just really uninspiring. And I feel like that's pretty much the whole album. Miley's voice is suited well for country, but this whole album is soulless, out of touch and it just annoys the **** out of me. And perhaps the worst thing is, that an artist who went from one of the most experimental records from any pop girl ever (Dead Petz), to a bad Joanne copy. And I don't like Joanne.. so saying it's a Bad Joanne copy.. well go figure.

The title indeed feels correct, while her peers are finding a more mature song, Miley wants to go back in time, despite her being the artist that was miles ahead of her peers at a time. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Now what annoys me so much about this fella, one might ask? well first of all I'm an ATRLer so LOOKS!!>>>

First of all it's his mediocrity and the way it's being praised. I rihmember when that ****er ruined 2017 right at the start when he announced not 1, BUT 2 songs to rihlease. His poor deaf fans already made #edsaved2017 or whatever a trending topic.. and I'm like really?? BUt as the fair person I am.. I just went open into this era.. trying not to hate blindly.. but this ginger goblin basically begged me to hate him when he released a dollar store version of Cheap Thrills along with another manufactured 'SO nostalgic!!1!!' song with abysmal lyrics.. and both were praised by his fans.. woo lordt.

Also WHO ever asked to sing a somewhat sexy song like SOY.. WHO?? Tone that **** down.. disgusting

And before I start with the album.. thanks for completely ruining the UK charts.. ugly ****er

now let's move onto the album. It's one big scam. No soul that even his previous albums had. Everything is manufactured to be so bland and mediocre.. yet also to be a mixed bag.. divide has nothing that ties it all together aside from the subpar quality.

It's an album that was made so that everyone could find a song that (s)he likes, but albums this diverse are usually experimental.. but Ed experimenting with these styles.. are still safe.
