Uncatena Posted December 22, 2017 Author Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) 60. Banks delivers one of her most interesting and satisfying songs to date with Underdog, a minimalistic electronic song that snaps and shows off her ability to write infectious melodies. 59. Although the sample basically makes the song, it's still her most interesting and best song to date, perfectly using her voice against the simple production. If even Selena can deliver an interesting take on the traditional pop song, others have no excuse. 58. Probably the most un-SOPHIE song she ever produced and it can sometimes feel like three songs stuffed into it and while parts of it (and the video) are a shameless Grimes rip-off, it's still an interesting song that manages to surprise and get you moving. 57. A beautiful and well produced song that will sure to get you dancing. Their production can border on sameness but this is a definite highlight from the EP of the same name. 56. Lizzo is a prime example of black excellence, putting out bop after bop and this one is no exception. It's probably one of her most interesting songs production wise and her wit and confidence definitely comes through, showing us that there is no right or wrong way of being a woman. 55. While the accompanying album was kind of a disappointment, High is a fantastic single and one of Little Dragon's best to date. Yukimi's sugary-sweet vocals fit perfectly over the smooth, relaxing production. Edited December 26, 2017 by ChapelHooker
