Αnt Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 When Green Light first came out I was obsessed. Dua's album was cute, I got over it pretty quick though.
Mr.Link Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Green Light is amazing, one of my favorite songs of the year
Ewan Chaos Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Great song picks! Though I didn't listen to Ciao Adios as much as I expected... Alone is incredible. It was my least fave (so far) when it came out, then it GREW TF on me, though now that I have time to let the songs settle it's prob my least fave of them all again. Dua Lipa... still deciding how much I like that record. We almost had the same top picks on N1A!
lhdang2000 Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Green Light + Dua Lipa. Ciao-Adios is such a gay-anthem somehow.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 whoops, I'm late again I'll post #10+#9 update later today yes, I know, i'm a mess and a half ps: thanks for comments sistrens
Wondervisions Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Oooo I love that design, Jessus Ware slaying even with her weakest album <3
TheWayWeWere Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 okay, ladies, it's top 10 now album #10 - Lana Del Rey, Lust for Life Quote "Honey, how is it feeling now?" Should I tell that I didn't expect anything from Lana after Honeymoon fiasko? This album feels like I waited it for years. It's so refreshing and classic-BTD Lana comeback. I love how she translates her political thoughts in music without being corny and too serious, I love how she still writes one of the best love songs, I love how she makes absolutely amazing pop songs with trap/rap influences, I love how messy her song' titles is, I hate she didn't include masterpiece Best American Record on it.some favorites: Get Free, Cherry, Summer Bummer, God Bless America, When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing single #10 - Selena Gomez & Kygo, It Ain't Me Quote "Who's waking up to drive you home, when you're drunk and all alone?" I'm still surprised this random collab ends up being my favorite Selena song this year. This tropical dance song is not only light flawless bop, but also sad breakup song. I love how they plays with sad lyric-content and such a lightly and dancey instrumental. Still hate this bitch for not promoting this AT ALL. album #09 - Demi Lovato, Tell Me You Love Me Quote "Lucky for you, I got all these daddy issues" Welp, this girl was one of the biggest surprise of the year for me. From Confident era/album to TMYLM. Whew, that upgrade is everything we need. Music direction, vocals use, smashes everywhere, playing with r&b influences, girl really serving with this one. I still wish she stop serving tragic personality, but everyone has some (daddy) issues some favorites: Daddy Issues, Ruin the Friendship, Cry Baby, Hitchhiker, Only Forever single #09 - Rita Ora, Your Song Quote "I can taste you on the tip of my tongue" And another BIG suprise this year. This girl was a mess and a half before. But ****, she served everything that 2017 main pop girl needs. Flawless pop bops, amazing live performances, vocals, dancing, visuals. And this song was a top of that. Sunny pop jam, that still sounds fresh and delievers with first second in. Really excited about her album.
Remmy Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Both albums Demi's was great, Lana's could've been better but there's a few REALLY strong tracks on it. Actually not a fan of these 2 songs. Rita went OFF on Anywhere, though! Didn't expect her to come for my wig like that. Get Free, God Bless America, Daddy Issues and Hitchhiker in your highlights

Ewan Chaos Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 It Ain't Me is fun - never gave the Demi record a listen but I like SNS so... Still need to check out Rita's recent singles. My friend has been raving on how good they are.
lhdang2000 Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 YAS AT TMYLM MADE THE TOP 10. It Ain't Me is cute.
potent Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Lust for Life I've yet to hear Demi's album but it seems promising!
MP2K Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 wasn't the biggest fan of the songs in this set. But Lust For Life was cool for a hot minute.
Kiss It Better Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 (edited) Lust for Life is Lana's best album btw Confident to TMYLM is indeed an upgrade! Green Light deserved top 10 Edited December 25, 2017 by Kiss It Better
