TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 I feel like there's gonna be many meltdowns when I reveal my #1s
prézli Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 ONLY #19????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? EVEN REPUTATION IS HIGHER?
Monky_2405 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Even if reputation is not even Top 15 I have to say that I'm really impressed! First of all I really like your graphics, then, with a few exceptions, both your albums and singles best are really...the best of the year, at least in my opinion. Halsey, Tamar, Kelly, even Selena with Fetish...I wish I tried with Jhene's album, it's not late I know, I only listened to it once and never listened to it again...and speaking of Tamar, it's nice to see somebody else enjoyed her best album ever and one of the best classic r&b albums of the year"!
SLIME Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I kept telling myself I'd listen to rep. as soon as it hit spotify but then I just haven't Midnight was a cool single from Jessie imo

World Eater Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Midnight was really nice but I didn't care that much about the rest of the album. reputation
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 last double update for little while album #17 - P!nk, Beautiful Trauma Quote "My mouth gets me in trouble all the time" It's been a long ****ing wait It feels like a century since Truth release P!nk girl always was capable of delievering some good ol bops, altough I've always thought she needs some new direction. After WAU, I was sure she's going to make some surprises on album. Let me say, Beautiful Trauma is solid record, I felt in love with it after first few listens, but more that I listen it, the more it feels like a safest step for her: there's no really interesting musical directions, there's almost no standouts on the level of previous albums. Yeah, she still served with lyrics, performances, vocals and etc. But Idk.. we need something more than another bunch of good pop songs, Alecia some favorites: Beautiful Trauma, For Now, Where We Go, Better Life single #17 - Lana Del Rey f. The Weekend, Lust for Life Quote "There's no more night, blue skies forever" Another collab between them, and I honestly think it's the best of them. They sounds really good together on it and capable of making for that song such a heavenly vibe. Nice throwback for good ol Lana with some fresh sound tho. album #16 - Shakira, El Dorado Quote "¿Qué?" I always was a fan of Shakira, especially her spanish music side. Both Sale El Sol and self-titled has some of her highs in both language, and after Chantaje (which represents some fresh sound for ha) I was really excited about that album. Altough things gets worser Album's shedule, her attitude, her laziness and some tragic cuts like Me Enamore....welp, album tbh wasn't big standout for me, it has some sort of really good bops and there's also some of her lows, but I kinda bops to like half of that album through the summer, so it gets kinda high placement for this. It also represents, that I still have hope in this lazy bitch some favorites: Chantaje, Trap, When a Woman, Nada single #16 - Taylor Swift, Look What You Made Me Do Quote "I don't trust nobody and nobody trusts me" Welp, it's ****ing bop? What can I say more. I love it's sassiness and triumphant sound, it hits me really hard when it was released. Girl slays with MV too. Amazing choice for lead.

Jhene did really amazing piece of work, very authetic Tamar really slayed me 3rd time already just can't believe this bitch wants to quit music career 2 hours ago, madonnas said: Yall need to start picking Selfish Love over Midnight! welp, it'll appear on my countdown...maybe 19 minutes ago, AlexisNeiers said: Midnight was really nice but I didn't care that much about the rest of the album. delete this now.
bestfiction Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 (edited) I didn't even bothered with Beatiful Trauma, the lead and the era itself are such a snoozefest. The title track and its video are great though! L4L is the best Lana x Weeknd collab for sure I prefer Love for its video but sonically L4L is more interesting Look no other song would be a better lead to draw everyone's attention to Taylor. Love it very much but I'll keep the words for my own list Edited December 18, 2017 by bestfiction
potent Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Midnight and Lust for Life Haven't gotten around to Kelly and P!nks albums but I like what I've heard so far!
Monky_2405 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Lust For Life Beautiful Trauma and...a list with El Dorado
Mezik Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Lust for Life & Look What You Made Me Do are among two of my favourite pop tracks this year. I remember when Look came out, I had it on repeat for probably 3 full-days - sounded so fresh at the time and unlike anything she's released. If only the rest of Reputation was as good as Look. Lust for Life reminds me of Lana's Born to Die days, which is probably why I enjoy it so much as well. Beautiful Trauma is far from my favourite P!nk album, but it's still solid. Also El Dorado produced Chantaje, and although I don't understand Spanish it's a bop so I assume the rest of the album is too.
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 18, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2017 Lust for Life and Look
Topmaster 2 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 El Dorado is her worst album ever. I'm so sad about how tragic her music was P!nk
Admiral Bobbery Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 (edited) MOL could be higher but happy it's on the list at all. El Dorado disappointed me tbh but it still has it's bops. Beautiful Trauma is solid. Midnight is a good song, too. Edited December 18, 2017 by Admiral Bobbery
lhdang2000 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 El Dorado above reputation & Meaning of Life is so weird. And I'm saying this as a Shakira stan. If the good sis doesn't even care about her career, then why should we?
