Kid A Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 (edited) I can ironically enjoy STD lol. but yes I agree about those SZA and Kehlani albums. Especially Kehlani’s! And excited to see your best list ofc Edited December 12, 2017 by Kid A
Wicked Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 Anybody wanna take a guess at what my song list will look like
Playa Playa Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Not a fan of the albums either or I haven't listened to them. Room 102 was too inconsistent Didn't finish RD, poor it falling off.
Same Ol' Mistakes Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I don't agree for SZA but agree to the rest. Kehlani fell of so hard.
Changes Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Mexican Fender is good, but their next single really turned me off to listening to the Weezer album.
Vilppu Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Drag Swish Swish, I thought I was the only one who absolutely cannot stand it. I've warmed up to CTRL a lot but my initial feelings were similar and the other albums are all reasonably here.
MP2K Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Overalll Kehlani didn't produce the best album I anticipated. I'm surprised by the SZA dislike. It wasn't my favorite R&B offer but it's def. up there. "Stop comparing this to Velvet Rope or A Seat At the Table. " WHO DID THAT? Room 104 was so promising,m but after episode 2 I was done. It's so boring.
Pedro Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Quote Katy never had good albums, but this is a new low for her. Sis, what? I am really sorry and I will keep checking your best of BUT this is wrong in every single way. Katy has, in fact, never delivered a bad album. This is the one I like the least though. I couldn't get into SZA's album either.

Temporal Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 CTRL + Swish Swish in the worst section? Drag Galway Girl tho

This 'super relateable' struggle singer R&B girl that everyone loves, but I just can't get into. (although, Jhene has a couple songs previously that I love) 10 hours ago, Pedro said: Sis, what? Songs like Peacock bring it down for me. 4 hours ago, Topmaster 2 said: I stopped watchinh since S7, just pure trash and fillers. Not here for this. Cancel IT! Wicked Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 Music related Honorable Mentions coming up!
Tom Vercetti Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Give me those music goods. You probably know more than I do.
Tom Vercetti Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Miguel on an HM The first half of Playboi's album is pretty fun yet I don't remember much after that. I wish Goldlink's album was better, but at least he has that hot single. And I remember you promoting Dave, but I still haven't gotten around to him yet, oops. Rest r reasonable.

Don't worry, he slays my songs list! That's how I feel about Carti, the first half is fire and then... Dave's joint is a nice listen, the production most notably, I could do without the Chris Brown feature.
Vilppu Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Julie, Miguel, Feist Allie's album was def HM material at best and Utopia really disappointed me personally.
Wicked Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 Ludacris - Vitamin D Drag me, but this was fun, especially the video. Goapele - Secret Unfortunate one hit wonder of the 00s (you might have heard this little joint, if not, take the time to listen!), Goapele dropped a serviceable EP this year that I enjoyed, this was the obvious standout. Cuban da Savage - Let It Blow A serviceable bop of the Soundcloud rap era that I have returned to throughout the year. Nick Jonas - Find You Nick remains the best of the new age pop boys (Zayn, Charlie, Shawn, etc,.). He should've released this during August, but it's all good. His vocals are a highlight. Nice little blend of acoustic/electronic. 21 Savage - Bank Account ISSA was lowkey a snoozer, but one of the best bangers of the year came from it. Jazmine Sullivan - Insecure (feat. Bryson Tiller) My Tiller-free version is great, all hail Jazzy! Jae Stephens - 24K One of the most underrated gems of the year, Jae has one of the most commanding new voices of the year, and I look forward to her 2018. Maluma - Felices los 4 While a lot of people have been making the claim of Maluma being the male Shakira, I don't fully hear it yet too much. He's still relatively safe musically, but he has a nice voice & a great ear. The remix with legend Marc Anthony also gave him some plus points with me. Demi Lovato - Ruin the Friendship Finally, Demi makes songs more suitable for her voice. Those grating records like Stone Cold were making my ears bleed. A little unrelated but I thought her album was enjoyable, maybe her best so far. --- Unrelated but my official comment since it seems to be a hot topic on here rn: Gucci Gang isn't a bad song. ATRL acting like it's Gummo tier
TheWayWeWere Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 War & Leisure and Bluebird in HM both was such a great albums, I still hope Tamar returns in future I love her music Insecure is FLAWLESS, I always loved Jazmine, but this is just SCALPED me one of my favorite r&b cuts this year Ruin the Friendship in my trinity from TMYLM
Navyofbadgals Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Great HMs also drag Ed and Miley also i like WT, but im all here for the Tiller draggings
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 13, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 13, 2017 Glad Bjork didn't make your official list!
