I have never seen someone come off as more desperate for approval as how he does in this song. The song is so mechanically written and produced. If life’s purpose was to come up with songtitles that are completely uncharacteristic of the song itself than Ed would be winning at life.

I'm surprised you don't like Now Or Never since it sounds kind of similar to Needed Me.

There are Fiona influences in Liability and Supercut, but in The Louvre and Writer in the Dark she tries to copy Kate's vocal style and fails, mainly because she lacks her sense of rhyme + lyrics are super try-hard.
