#5 - Lorde - Writer In the Dark

 

I feel like Lorde has lost herself this time around. No one asked for her to sing tove lo rejects. Her album has some great songs, but that is not the comeback I was hoping for.

 

#4 - Lady Gaga - The Cure

 

right off the bat, The Cure pretty much samples Bieber’s Sorry, as if passively apoligizing for what our ears are about to endure.

 

#3 - Halsey - Now Or Never

the 10th cheap thrills rip off could not be more annoying

I have never seen someone come off as more desperate for approval as how he does in this song. The song is so mechanically written and produced. If life’s purpose was to come up with songtitles that are completely uncharacteristic of the song itself than Ed would be winning at life.
